A place that warms the heart and the palate. If you're passing through Pietra Ligure, you can't miss it!

30/09/2025: Hello! We were passing by and decided to stop in. It's atmospheric, cozy, clean, and fresh. The staff includes people with disabilities. It's very nice and welcoming. The food is delicious, the meat is tender and juicy. The portions are large, but the taste and quality are not compromised. Our order included: pizza, meat, pasta, ravioli, two salads, sorbet, two ice creams, 500 ml sparkling wine, 1 liter of water, plus compliments. The bill was 80 euros. Five people tried it and were satisfied. It makes us want to come back and try new dishes. Thank you so much! Delicious, fast service, and attentive attitude. It's simply a warm place! 31/10/2025: We had a very good meal at a reasonable price. The risotto was generous. The tables were perhaps a little small to be truly comfortable, and the waiter didn't speak loudly enough; we often had to ask him to repeat himself, but these are minor details that didn't spoil our last evening in Levanto.

31/10/2025: VERY LOW-QUALITY RAW MATERIALS, NOT A FISH RESTAURANT! The positive reviews were the reason for our choice. This restaurant, famous in Levanto for its long history, used to have very good food. The lady from Levanto, who was hosting us, explained to us the next day that the new management had completely overhauled the cuisine, where fresh fish and seafood dishes have plummeted, and the locals carefully avoid them... Obviously, we couldn't have known this. We confirm everything, and the NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE TRUE and fully reflect our experience. The two mixed seafood appetizers are beyond comment: various types of fish straight out of the cans full of seed oil, a stuffed dried-out mussel, and a black ball with a tiny gamefish inside a circle with a toothpick next to it, which we had to spit out into a napkin, bitter and with a terrifying taste. For our first course, we had spaghetti "with fish," completely bland and completely devoid of fish! There were only scraps of shrimp or mantis shrimp carcasses, undeniable, and completely flavorless. Not to mention the mixed fried fish; we were still digesting it the next day. We woke up shocked by so much mockery, the bill was quite hefty, but here there was no trace of the sea or of cooking skills. At the cash register, I noticed that the kitchen was staffed only by Indians, who probably don't know how to cook or even how to run a fresh seafood restaurant! Money is hard to earn, and to throw it away like this is sad and very annoying!

28/10/2025: We had a birthday lunch with a table of 14 people. We all enjoyed the food and the service from the waiter that was really fast and polite, but I have to say that the waiting time for the food to be served was too slow. As a chef myself I do understand how long it takes to plate 14 dishes nicely decorated and all looking the same , this is not an excuse, starting lunch at 12.30 and finishing almost at 5 p.m. But just to rehiterate food was 👍 service was 👍 food coming out of the kitchen not so good. Overall I would go again for a meal as it could have been just an issue with staffing on the day. Also we were seating by the windows and it was sunny and there were no blinds on the windows , some guests had to wear sunglasses at the table. P.S. I left the risotto as I found some sand in it and it was a bit too thick for my liking. The other guests liked it and had seconds.

13/10/2025: A wonderful discovery! The chef uses only fresh, local produce. The presentation of the dishes is very meticulous, the cuisine is excellent, and the seasonings are original. A great selection of French and Italian wines.

06/11/2025: Rustic, family-friendly place; healthy, well-cooked food, excellent meat, friendly and helpful staff, price around €40. If you like authentic, simple, and clean environments, this is the place for you.

12/10/2025: A restaurant with two chefs, one for starters and one for main courses. The ambiance isn't particularly impressive, both from the outside and inside, and yet... wow, what dishes! Excellent cuisine, a varied menu, especially fish, but also meat, and even vegan (not my cup of tea...). I'd say the main courses are better than the main courses, at least in my experience for four meals for two. The prices are good. In short, you try it once, but you'll definitely return. I don't know of any other restaurants in Varazze, but I think it's one of the best, even compared to neighboring towns or those near the coast (Celle Ligure, Arenzano, etc.). I'll definitely return at the first opportunity. My only concern is that the main course chef is apparently leaving to change careers.
