The ingredients were top-quality, enhanced by surprising and never boring combinations. The undisputed star of the evening was the black truffle, masterfully used in several courses. The balance of flavors was perfect: the truffle did not overpower, but elegantly enhanced each dish. Highly recommended for those seeking authentic, creative cuisine deeply rooted in the local area. I will definitely return.

29/11/2025: We found it by pure chance, and as true Neapolitans, notoriously picky when it comes to pizza, we can say without hesitation that this pizzeria won us over!!! The fried pizza, which usually tends to be a bit heavy, is a true revelation here: light, dry, and fragrant, with a dough that almost melts in your mouth. The ingredients are all excellent, from the fragrant tomatoes to the provola cheese, to the full-flavored yet delicate ricotta. The real gem: the cracklings, the real, genuine ones, hard to find even in Naples these days! They add that touch of authentic flavor that makes all the difference and takes you back in time, to the pizzas of yesteryear. And then, and most importantly, the price is very fair, especially considering the quality and care that goes into each dish. In short, a pizzeria that combines authentic Neapolitan tradition with a Neapolitan welcome. We'll be back soon, and with great pleasure! 🍕❤️

11/10/2025: Fantastic Stay at Grand Hotel Portovenere! 🌊 I've just had the most magical 3-night stay at the Grand Hotel Portovenere, and I'm already dreaming of going back! This place is an absolute gem, set in a beautifully restored 17th-century convent right on the water's edge. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their kindness and passion for the region truly made our trip special. The food was a highlight every single day. Dining at the Palmaria Restaurant with its stunning panoramic terrace views was an experience in itself. The cuisine was innovative, fresh, and absolutely delicious—a perfect taste of Liguria! Waking up to the view of the colorful harbor and Palmaria Island from our balcony was unforgettable. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the heart of charming Portovenere and with the ferry to the Cinque Terre literally at your doorstep. If you're looking for a luxurious, romantic, and utterly satisfying escape, look no further. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

14/08/2025: An amazing vacation; calling it a hotel is an understatement given the many activities available thanks to the concierge's invaluable advice. We tried the sunset boat excursion with aperitif and an exclusive boat tour of the Cinque Terre. Needless to say, the location is fantastic for visiting the center and the famous church of San Pietro. Close to excellent restaurants, including the Grand Hotel's own: the Palmaria restaurant. The friendly, helpful staff helped make those days and our stay at the Grand Hotel itself a special memory...thanks again!

28/09/2025: We tried both breakfast and aperitivo. What can I say! Good breakfast with excellent coffee and cappuccino, accompanied by focaccia and pastries that were always fresh and delicious. The aperitivo was absolutely satisfying; if you want to grab a bite, a small surcharge on the cocktail price will fill you up for dinner. 😅 Everything was really good. Friendly and helpful staff! Worth a try and return! 😉

23/09/2025: A little set back in the old streets of Bordighera, in a beautifully decorated little square, we enjoy the tasty and well-presented specialties: a fish steak from the catch of the day and its crunchy vegetable medley, and for dessert the famous tiramisu, pimped with caramel cream and a chocolate crisp. We also appreciate the fact that the waiters speak French and that the menus are translated. This is a valuable help even if the diversity of Italian pasta is untranslatable and requires an explanation, kindly provided.
