15/05/2026: The food was very modest. The mussels had a strange taste. Unfortunately, the other dishes were also nothing special. The waiter didn't know the food and confused it.

14/05/2026: The staff were very friendly and efficient. We ordered pizzas and meat dishes: nothing special, so it's difficult to give it more than 3 stars. It's just another restaurant among many others on the Alassio seafront.

30/05/2026: Nice place, more or less treated like dirt, we waited an hour, without anyone telling us anything about the delay, not even apologizing, we waited and asked for explanations but nothing was told that everything was arriving, nothing, we got up and went to pay for the bottle we ordered and said that due to the long wait (it was 10:20 pm) we would have to leave... and we were literally attacked by the owner, saying that we shouldn't have taken a train and other disgusting phrases... I conclude that we too are people who work but if you don't know how to do your job it's better to change and do something else!! Shameful and not at all!!!

19/07/2025: Very good pizza, including unusual variations, such as truffle. Very good prices, and the service was very friendly.

22/06/2025: Excellent pizza!!! Easy-to-digest, thin-crust pizza. The vegetable pizza with Scapece-style zucchini and mushroom-style eggplant is spectacular. We'll be back!

13/04/2026: The amaretti from Scalvini Pastry Shop are among the best I've ever tasted.... But this time I focused on April Fool's Day, a typical Savona dessert featuring layers of sponge cake, filled with butter cream, and topped with almond paste. The product I tasted met my expectations, well-filled and with well-defined flavors. I'll add a sampling of the dry pastries from previous visits, which I found well-balanced and with delicate flavors. Very courteous and professional service, absolutely reasonable price.

14/09/2025: A welcoming bar. Good breakfast. The price is a bit high. The juice seemed more expensive than at the rest stop, and the glass was smaller.

08/01/2026: All prices were way too high. The pasta was either sticky or way too cooked, bathed in a sauce that tasted like canned food and way too salty. The pizza, although "gourmet" on the menu, had a rubbery crust and ingredients that were a dime a dozen. Bored waiters who make you feel like you owe them something for bringing you water (which costs the same as a cocktail elsewhere). The music was too loud and the tables were so cramped that I involuntarily joined in the conversation of my neighbors.

The menu is extensive and consistently top-notch, with truly exquisite products and top-quality ingredients. You immediately sense that nothing is left to chance, from the selection of wines and gourmet products to the attention to service and ambiance. The aperitif is rich, enjoyable, and beautifully presented, in a historic and elegant setting that makes everything even more special. Even just sitting here for a coffee or a drink means enjoying a unique experience, in a place with charm, personality, and a strong identity. Obviously, it's not cheap, but honestly, the price is justified by the overall quality: a historic location, excellent products, an elegant atmosphere, and top-notch service. In my opinion, it's absolutely worth it. A historic venue worth preserving and promoting, highly recommended both for those passing through Chiavari and for those looking for a refined break in a truly special place. A 5-star experience.

02/06/2026: Welcoming atmosphere. The atmosphere is like a tavern, so it's convivial and relaxed. Feedback: The food is all very tasty and the portions are adequate. The menu is varied, with seafood and meat options to please all palates. The desserts are amazing. I highly recommend sitting down and sampling their cuisine.

04/05/2026: Home cooking always well-executed, in a casual and very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent for a Sunday family lunch, an evening downtown, or a business meeting. Pasta with mussels alla Spezzina is always top-notch!

26/09/2025: The gluten-free sandwiches are good, but it's a shame that the bread used is the packaged kind found in supermarkets, and that since they've been gluten-free for years, they haven't yet managed to offer gluten-free chips and bacon (and contamination). Even though the sandwiches have been revisited (removing ingredients like beacon), there's still a surcharge on the gluten-free menu.
