11/11/2025: Restaurant service was too slow, the staff were untrained but friendly, the food was disappointing: poor quality, with frozen fries and vegetables consisting of just two slices of eggplant, overcooked and unsalted sea bream, and no appetizers (which is typical in Italy). It's a shame because this establishment was very good under the previous owners.

27/10/2025: A pleasant restaurant located on a newly renovated, quiet square on the plateau of the old town with a stunning view of the harbor. It's a lovely place to relax in the sun on the concrete benches. Accessible on foot through the beautiful alleys of the old town or by elevator, which ascends through the car and pedestrian tunnel beneath the old town. We originally only wanted a drink, but then decided to have a bite to eat: grilled anchovies and grilled vegetables. Very tasty and reasonably priced. Friendly service, and an authentic chef who came to our table for a brief chat.

26/12/2025: Unfortunately, the experience was completely below expectations, if not unsatisfactory. The dishes were good (not exceptional), but the portions were decidedly small. Several dishes on the menu were unavailable, and by 9:45 PM the kitchen was already closed, making it impossible to order anything else. Overall, a very disappointing value for money. We don't plan on returning.

18/01/2026: We decided, with friends, to go get pizza at this place where we'd already dined once. We made a reservation in the afternoon and arrived promptly at 8:45 PM. We sat down, and after a 15-minute wait, the waiter came and threw four menus on our table, saying, "Bad news! No pizza for you tonight because we ran out of dough." We thought the waiter was playing a prank. No prank. At 8:45 PM on a Saturday night in January, with a reservation, we had to leave because the pizza was sold out. We're not talking about a place that seats 100 people; we didn't show up unexpectedly on a crowded summer evening. And it wasn't a joke. Of course, we got up and left, without even a hint of an apology and without the owners even saying a word or saying goodbye. Tip: 200 meters further on, there's an excellent pizzeria that welcomed us without a reservation and with the place full. At U Cantu, they don't run out of rice cake, they run out of pizza dough. And it's no joke. Unspeakable.

08/12/2025: Excellent seafood lunch. Fresh mixed grill. Friendly and welcoming owners. Everything made even better by the seaside location.

20/01/2026: I have been to this place two years ago approximately and it was amazing; I have no gluten intolerence and yet it even their gluten free option was mindblowing. This time? What a mess. What they serve as a gluten free option should not even be called a pizza, the place is falling apart (literally), and the price is way far off from the value of what you get. Would never turn back and would never recommend to anyone. Apparently the owner also replies negatively to negative reviews (based on some that I read). No comments beyond that.

29/11/2025: Super delicious focaccias, a good selection of wines and cocktails, in a refined and relaxing atmosphere.

10/11/2025: Quality, kindness, and hospitality are paramount, and when we add the excellent food and drinks, the combination is perfect. Definitely worth a try.

06/01/2026: I often go to this historic venue for aperitivo. They serve both hot and cold dishes in good quantities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's also an outdoor seating area, but in winter it's a bit drafty.
