14/03/2026: Sottoripa is a historic town, once filled with taverns and "scagni" (shops) brimming with merchandise from the old port. Today, it retains its charm, with establishments increasingly geared toward tourism, some continuing tradition, others reflecting Genoa's renowned multiculturalism.

20/01/2026: I have been to this place two years ago approximately and it was amazing; I have no gluten intolerence and yet it even their gluten free option was mindblowing. This time? What a mess. What they serve as a gluten free option should not even be called a pizza, the place is falling apart (literally), and the price is way far off from the value of what you get. Would never turn back and would never recommend to anyone. Apparently the owner also replies negatively to negative reviews (based on some that I read). No comments beyond that.

06/03/2026: It's a place in the city center, with friendly and dynamic staff. You can choose to grab a quick bite or sit down to enjoy the menu and live music during festival nights! Both the pizzas and sandwiches are delicious! Good value. Recommended!

01/03/2026: We had takeout one evening, and everything was delicious, both the burgers and the arrosticini. The service was friendly and fast. Perhaps the beer was a little overpriced (€4 for €33), but otherwise everything was perfect.

15/02/2026: We stopped for an ice cream cone. There was a wide selection of flavors, including some unique ones. I must say it was very good, solid enough, and the prices, given the location and the area, are reasonable. The person who served us was kind and friendly.

15/01/2026: An atypical place for Liguria, as the bartender always welcomes you with a smile. The "mezza carolina" is excellent, a local drink ideal for an aperitif. I also recommend the gelato, especially in the winter. The diverse yet discreet clientele makes the place magical. Gelato and aperitif at Serafino, a ten.

01/05/2026: Terrible experience, extremely rude employees!!!! Change the staff, there are so many young people around who are willing to work in a calm and polite manner. Here the employees already feel like the bosses!!! A disgrace!

15/04/2026: Bitter coffee (€1.50!) and I was about to bring it to the table but they stopped me, saying, "Oh no, there are waiters who do this service, otherwise I'll pay them for it!" Honestly, I've never been attacked like that (because that was the tone) before and for the last time! 😉

08/03/2026: Reservations are recommended. Good, quality food. My only negative was the overcrowding, with tables too close to other diners. I'd recommend having fewer tables to improve both service and give diners a little more privacy. But I probably just found the evening a bit of a disappointment, perhaps. Overall, everything was fine.

07/12/2025: I tried a lunchtime meal with my son months ago... never again. Inattentive service, tiny portions, even unevenly distributed across tables, a menu that promises ingredients that then barely make an appearance on the dishes to save money. We're not there.

21/10/2025: A tavern with delicious traditional dishes. We tried the tagliolini with fresh porcini mushrooms and the venison ravioli. Both were very good. The cheesecake was also excellent! The chef and waitress were very kind. Let them advise you 😊

02/04/2026: A historic restaurant in Bordighera under new management. The interior is very nice, and there's also the option to eat outside. Not much choice for starters and main courses, but I ate well. The rabbit was really good... portions were just right, as were the prices, and service was average. Worth a try.
