27/05/2025: Entrare a La Lucerna di Ferro è come immergersi in una sinfonia gastronomica dove ogni piatto è una nota che vibra dolcemente nell’aria, accompagnando la cena con grazia e intensità. Qui la cucina non si limita a soddisfare il palato: racconta, emoziona, avvolge. Si inizia con gli antipasti, un vero e proprio omaggio alla tradizione Ligure-Toscana. Ogni assaggio è un’eco autentica del territorio, capace di evocare storie di confine, di colline che scendono al mare e di ricette custodite nel tempo. È un inizio che accarezza, preparando il palato con eleganza e calore. Il primo piatto è una vera rivelazione: gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare sono eseguiti con maestria, in un equilibrio perfetto tra la sapidità del mare e la delicatezza della pasta al dente. 08/12/2025: Review of "La Marina" – Brugnato (La Spezia), very close to the famous Brugnato outlet. If you're looking for an authentic, welcoming restaurant that will make you feel instantly at home, La Marina is a must-see. It's a family-run establishment in a very convenient location, with parking just steps away and truly perfect accessibility, even for those with disabilities: a rare and precious touch. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with great warmth, and the family atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. But the real star was the food: exceptional dishes, rich in flavor, tradition, and generous portions, all at more than fair prices. We started with amazing polenta, served in several variations: with roe deer, venison, mushrooms, and even goulash. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, the kind you want to remember forever. Next, a mixed antipasto platter with local cured meats, panzanella, and delicious vegetable tarts: a triumph of simple and authentic flavors, literally finger-licking good. The service was impeccable: fast, attentive, and extremely courteous. Special mention goes to Elisa and Antonietta, whose kindness and professionalism made everything even more enjoyable. Last but not least, we concluded the meal with two unforgettable desserts: a fragrant and moist homemade apple pie and a homemade panna cotta, enhanced with a delicious blackberry jam, also homemade. A perfect finale, in keeping with the care and love that characterizes the entire cuisine at this restaurant. In conclusion, La Marina is a restaurant we wholeheartedly recommend: for its quality, its atmosphere, and the passion with which it is run. It's a place we'll definitely return to, and one we recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine in a warm and authentic setting.

03/11/2025: Near the town hall, we found this restaurant/pizzeria where we stopped for dinner. We ordered mainly fish and loved it. We had the pleasure of discovering the Cinque Terre wine, which we really enjoyed, especially the white.

14/10/2025: A very bad experience. We were seated at the very back of the terrace, at a rickety table, under broken decorations that were in danger of falling. The welcome was cold, almost contemptuous, and we can't help but think that this treatment was linked to our appearance. This feeling of exclusion and discrimination is unacceptable, especially in a place that is supposed to welcome everyone. Avoid.

19/10/2025: Discovered by chance today. Authentic Genoese dishes, delicious and light! I hadn't had such pesto mandilli in years, not to mention the Ligurian-style rabbit! The view is magnificent and the attentive staff treated us like family... What can I say, we'll definitely be back!

21/10/2025: We came as a family, and everything had started well with the starters: decent service, without a smile or warmth, but nothing dramatic. However, when the main courses arrived, the nightmare began. I ordered a rare fillet steak, which I received literally raw and inedible, accompanied by four small potatoes. My wife and her mother had pasta with clams: half the shells were empty and the portion was paltry; in three forkfuls, the plate was finished. As for my meat, between the sinews and the undercooking, I had to send it back, simply saying I didn't want any more. A few minutes later, the chef came to my table, visibly annoyed, asking me aggressively, "What's the problem?" I explained it to him calmly, and his only response was, "It will be charged." I told him I didn't want it, and he replied curtly, "I don't care, it will be charged." An arrogant, contemptuous, and completely unprofessional attitude. I concluded by saying to him ironically, "Wow, what a sense of service!" and he dared to sneer back, "Hee hee, I'm scared." This is the first time I've seen such disrespect toward a customer. We will never set foot in that establishment again.

17/10/2025: An absolute must if you are in the area . Location is perfect on the beach. Waiters are charming and efficient. Place is beautiful. The food absolutely fantastic. We had: Seafood and seasonal vegetable vol- au-vents. Not to miss. The umbrine with meltedfennel and citrus sauce . The best fish ever. My wife had a superb beef filet with ginger. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and service. We will return and send our friends.

09/11/2025: Professionalism 0 I specifically asked for a dessert without alcohol because I can't eat even small amounts for health reasons. Even though they told me there was no alcohol, they still brought me a dessert containing alcohol. I ate a little because I didn't know. After I complained, they brought me a dessert without alcohol, which I didn't eat because I felt nauseous and sick. They ruined my lunch and my day. If you have health problems or allergies or intolerances, avoid this place because they won't listen to you. I've also been a waitress, and at the slightest inconvenience, I've always had the decency to apologize, unlike them. Never again will I have a horrible experience.

28/11/2025: The place is delightful, inside and out. The decor is thoughtful and colorful, overlooking the pier and bar area. The dishes aren't huge, but they're truly delicious: artichoke and pancetta-wrapped cod flan with a myriad of vegetables and tenderly stewed onions...very digestible! Sauvignon Lis Neris. The focaccia and breads are also very good.

26/11/2025: A truly top-notch Sunday aperitif, practically on the waterfront. Exceptional, excellent value! The place is well-decorated and also great for lunch and dinner. We visited in the winter, but it's bound to be packed in the summer!

19/10/2025: We enjoyed a great Ligurian meal at Taverna Mandragola in Cervo, Italy. The linguine and ravioli were freshly made with seafruit and porcini. We also enjoyed the tasty tuna steak and the pesce Spada (swordfish).

05/11/2025: I've read several very dated reviews. The older ones, however, are no longer valid because two years ago the restaurant's menu was significantly reduced. Now they only serve pizza, platters, or fried foods. No more spaghetti, risotto, or fish! What a shame!
