We had dinner here on the first Sunday in July.
Four of us arrived without a reservation, and they immediately gave us a table on the balcony overlooking the sea. Needless to say, we appreciated it.
I honestly appreciated the few dishes on the menu—few, but good and well-made (though it wasn't a problem to have tomato pasta for the kids).
The pesto trofie, potatoes, and green beans were truly delicious, and the catch of the day scalloped with vegetables was truly divine.
I would return and definitely recommend.

A perfectly okay place to eat. Nothing special. We had lasagna, it was okay, but I was hoping for a little better and a little bigger portion. My partner had creme catalan for dessert, it was generous and tasty. I finished with a grappa which was very good.

Dau Cila — Riomaggiore
On the smallest harbor in the Cinque Terre, directly overlooking the sea, Dau Cila is one of those places that stays with you. The restaurant has a spectacular view: boats lazily rocking, and the blue Mediterranean merging with the horizon.
The cuisine is simple yet precise. The fish arrives fresh every day, and you can taste it: clean seafood appetizers, boldly seasoned first courses, and perfectly cooked second courses. There are no extravagant surprises, just honest dishes that respect Ligurian tradition. The staff is kind, attentive, with that natural way of making you feel at home that only those who truly love their work can possess.
The atmosphere is intimate, almost cozy: exposed stone, modern details, and the sound of the waves as a soundtrack. It's the perfect place for a romantic dinner, to close your eyes and feel the salt on your lips, to understand that sometimes perfection lies in simple things done well.
When you find a place like this, leaving it already hurts a little.

I returned to Dau Cinque after five years and found the same quality I remembered, if not even better. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the staff is kind and attentive, and the dishes are prepared with fresh, quality ingredients.
The pesto trophies are truly incredible, but the focaccia with burrata and anchovies is truly amazing.
It's one of those places that's truly worth revisiting when you return to Riomaggiore. Kudos to the entire staff; I'll definitely be back!

We stopped here for a quick drink. The coffee was delicious and service excellent. It offers a great view of the town and its lovely to people watch here. Would recommend for a relaxing time by the centre.

The location was fantastic but I thought my white fish was not very flavorful nor filling. It came with a few small potatoes and sun dried tomatoes. Rice would have been a better pairing. The pesto was delish and they only served their own homemade wine which is fine if you don’t mind not having variety. The food was also some of the most expensive I have had in Italy thus far.
