16/12/2024: Good to eat (especially the focaccia and tartare) and to drink; furthermore the choice is wide. However, I advise against having an aperitif (€9: drink, which basically costs €6, and a platter of 3 types of canapés, but 1 each, and fried potatoes). The service is very slow (I waited 2, if not 3 times, an hour and a quarter to a half to have my focaccia or my tartare; not to mention that the drink had arrived 5 minutes after ordering); Furthermore, it has happened several times that they get the order wrong and this certainly leads to longer waiting times. The place is nice and welcoming, but it's very small inside and it's hard to fit in (we went several times with a group of friends of 6-8 people and we were always squeezed into tables that were too small). It's a shame because without these problems it would be a fantastic place to have aperitifs and dinners with friends.

14/11/2024: Ci siamo recati io e mia moglie per pranzo al rientro dalla Sardegna. Siamo stati accolti con simpatia e professionalità, le pietanze erano tutte ottime, soprattutto il filetto di pesce fresco alla "Ligure", vino Vermentino e prezzi in linea. Ci ritorneremo!

02/12/2024: Very nice and well-kept place in the center of Spezia, they have a large room inside that cannot be seen from the main street, excellent quality dishes with a fair value for money... the only flaw is a tiramisu so good that you would eat another one straight away …. Try the pantondo produced by them

01/12/2024: Optimal! Excellent pizza dough; excellent pizza cooking; good ingredients. The raw fish was good, scenographic serving and of good quality. The good and attentive curly blonde lady, probably the owner, noticed the bread basket that my group had by now swallowed up due to great hunger, and had the busy waiters replenish it. Renovated place with a beautiful modern cellar and also an image one. Well done!!

15/12/2024: Very nice and suggestive location but we were very crowded at the table and one of our guests was in front of the back door. Pizza rich in seasonings, delicious dough. Wide choice of pizzas on the menu. Honest prices. Very kind waiters but the waiting times were too long: we entered at 8.40pm, the pizzas arrived at 10.27pm. We were offered some squares of pizza while we waited.

30/11/2024: It was a fantastic experience. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the first moment. He proposed us a selection of wines that turned out to be excellent. In addition, he was nice enough to offer us some focaccia with cheese. It's a shame that we were only in this city for one night, because without a doubt we would have returned every night to enjoy this special place. A highly recommended place for its atmosphere, quality and, above all, for the warmth of its owner. A gem!

04/12/2024: Barista da licenziare in tronco, gentilezza sotto le scarpe, risponde male e ti dice di servirti da solo. Le bibite sono nel frigo mi ha detto!!! Chiaramente ho preso la porta che era affianco, non mi ci vedono più!!!!

18/10/2024: The place is nice and hospitable, the girls at the counter are very kind and attentive. I am writing this review because I am struck by the low quality of the ham and cheese, ingredients of the sandwich I ate yesterday and the toast I ate today: really poor ingredients. They tell me it has already been reported. Unfortunately this flaw has a major impact on the overall rating: if you eat very late, there is no other choice other than a sandwich or toast. However, if the quality of these is so low, the overall evaluation suffers greatly, the lunch is unpleasant, even if in a nice and hospitable place, with kind and attentive staff. I'm surprised because I've always found myself very happy in the other Mentelocale venues in Genoa. Is saving on ingredients to the detriment of the Mentelocale brand a good idea?

A stone's throw from Piazza de Ferrari is this authentic place, the owners are very kind and friendly and the pizza is crazy The place is welcoming and if you want to have a wide choice at crazy prices, this is the right place. Very highly recommended!

21/11/2024: Pizzas that seem frozen, unleavened. Hygiene and cleanliness an optional. Definitely not the best pizza in Genoa.

21/09/2024: Bar Saba is a guarantee! Cozy place and staff always very kind and above all quick in service. I've been having lunch with them for over two years and never a disappointment! Absolutely recommended!

28/11/2024: Pizza, which we ordered after two dishes to fill us up, was good. Everything except pizza is frozen, and our food was more cold than warm, while the beer was the other way around. Price performance for pizza is very good. Very bad with fish and meat.

22/12/2024: Very good service. Nice food ( not so many variations ) , good wine. 57 euro ( 2euro per person for service ) for pasta with spicy tomato sauce , Gnocchi with meat sauce , Mozzarella and tomato, bottle of still water, big bottle of beer and a glass of red wine
