10/11/2024: We just had lunch in this typical Ligurian restaurant. Very good food. All homemade by them. Pasta very good as the baked trout and everything else. Service normal. The owners very kind and prepared. The price a little high, but for the quality and portions, it's worth it. That's just my opinion.

24/10/2024: Booked last minute close to closing time, he waited for us and welcomed us with open arms. Welcomed by a more than crazy hatter, storyteller, he put us at ease and accompanied us on a journey into the depths of taste. The room is reminiscent of typical medieval taverns with a huge fireplace in the center! Refined, tasty and particular dishes. A very fine menu but full of interesting flavours. Excellent wines! We didn't have a chance to try the rooms because we live in the area. If you go to eat, get advice and pampering!

01/05/2025: Le restaurant est chaleureux. Les serveurs agréables. La cuisine bonne et rapide. Nous y avons déjeuné puis dîné quelques jours après. Nous avons pris des burgers : la viande est excellente et la proportion de frite est bonne. Le repas était délicieux. Le tiramisu proposé est tout aussi bon. Nous vous conseillons une des bouteilles de Toscane pour accompagner votre repas.

13/04/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante in occasione di un weekend alle 5 terre con pernottamento a La Spezia. Il ristorante è arredato con stile moderno ed elegante, mentre lo staff è attento e professionale, ma anche disponibile e gentile. Il punto forte del menù sono chiaramente le varie proposte di tagli di carne, ma io ho optato per un hamburger, grazie anche alla possibilità di avere il panino senza glutine, accompagnato da patate al forno. Sia il pane sia le materie prime erano di ottima qualità e il risultato finale era veramente buonissimo! Ristorante decisamente consigliato, e complimenti per l’attenzione anche al “senza glutine”!

24/02/2025: Non lontana da piazza de Ferrari (un pò più in basso verso il mare x intenderci) merita una visita: da segnalare la loro crema ed il pistacchiotto. A chi interessa anche un buon caffè con molta panna!

19/04/2025: Trattoria with many years of experience, very popular during lunch time. Even though I have been going there for many years, I have unfortunately had to recently encounter a decrease in the courses that can be ordered, in the sense of a smaller choice of options available (only two first courses, only two second courses/side dishes, etc. etc.). It is also a good idea, especially if you are a foreigner, to keep in mind that the workers' menu is not always available, and not for everyone, given that we, for example, despite not having had anything special for lunch, were charged for everything, including water, à la carte (with prices that were in any case absolutely acceptable and not incongruous, given that the food was genuine and cooked by hand). Service a little rushed and sometimes summary. The restaurant has few seats, so it is advisable, even if there are only a few of you, to book.

06/03/2025: Ho deciso di regalare a me e al mio compagno una giornata di totale relax. Da tempo avevo sentito parlare dell'albergo e spa Villa Elia ma non avevo mai trovato il tempo di andarci. Prenotato telefonicamente il pacchetto spa+dinner/lunch per due persone, il pacchetto comprende l'ingresso alla spa riservato personalmente per due ore, in dotazione viene dato un kit ciascuno con accappatoio,telo mare e infradito. La spa è composta da: stanza del sale,vasca idromassaggio,sauna,bagno turco,percorso cromoterapia,percorso kneipp,area relax con tisaneria dove lasciano una tisana, i biscotti e frutta secca. Terminate le due ore c'è la possibilità di trasferirsi nella zona piscina dove l'accesso è libero a tutti gli ospiti per il resto della giornata. Abbiamo ordinato un aperitivo prima di andare a pranzo. Nel nostro caso avendo prenotato il pranzo abbiamo potuto scegliere se ordinare menù alla carta,oppure scegliere tra un menù light, menù da tre portate(antipasto,primo o secondo e dolce) o menù da quattro portate (antipasto,primo,secondo e dolce). Noi abbiamo optato per il menù di tre portate, accompagnati direttamente in accappatoio in una sala da pranzo riservata per gli ospiti della spa abbiamo potuto godere di un pranzo in tutta tranquillità. Come antipasto il vitello tonnato per entrambi, poi potevamo scegliere o il primo o il secondo e abbiamo deciso di prendere un primo e un secondo in modo da poter assaggiare entrambi i piatti, come primo c'erano gli gnocchi di castagne al sugo di funghi e di secondo la guancia (sublime...si scioglieva in bocca) come dolce si poteva scegliere tra panna cotta o torta di nocciole con crema allo zabaione, abbiamo scelto la torta di nocciole, buonissima!!! Dopo il pranzo siamo ritornati a rilassarci in piscina e a fine pomeriggio doccia e siamo andati via. Giornata perfetta e rilassante, personale molto attento e cordiale, la cucina fantastica e piatti abbondanti, siamo stati proprio coccolati. Non vediamo l'ora di ritornare!!! Complimenti a tutto lo staff e grazie di tutto! A presto

03/11/2024: Andati per la prima volta a Calizzano e dintorni, diciamo che la natura ci ha sorpreso per la sua bellezza. Il ristorante l'abbiamo scelto in base al menù e siamo stati contenti. 2 antipasti: funghi fritti e crepes con fonduta e tartufo spaziali. 2 primi: tagliolini ai funghi porcini e finferli e gnocchetti di castagne con funghi porcini (secondo noi mancava un pizzico di sale...). 2 dolci: panna cotta alle nocciole e l'altra al pistacchio, da urlo. 2 caffè e 1/2 litro di dolcetto della casa. 82 euro. Personale attento e disponibile. Un gentilissimo cameriere si è preso cura anche del nostro bassotto. Consigliatissimo

29/05/2025: The food has nothing to do with all these pictures here anymore. I visited this restaurant a few days ago together with some friends. It was the worst treatment we have had in years! And, believe me, we have visited quite a few restaurants in Italy—Rome, Naples, Florence, Savona, Milan, etc. We were attracted by the soup advertised for 5 EUR in the window, but once seated we were told it actually costs 10 EUR, as the price displayed on the restaurant door refers to a small portion which doesn’t exist on the menu. We received an English menu printed on two sheets of paper, while Italian customers at other tables were given much more extensive menus in Italian, with many more dishes that were not listed on our menu. The same happened with drinks—we asked for beer and were told it was only available in bottles (5 EUR), only to later see Italian customers being served draft beer. I wonder if the prices were the same... I asked for baccalà with potatoes and requested if they could substitute the potatoes with another dish from the menu, fagiolini con patate. They said nothing—not about my request nor about the price—and what I received is shown in the picture: boiled fish with canned green beans—no potatoes at all. Lousy service, lousy food, horrible place. Too bad for us, and too bad for them, as we will never return here during our stay in Genoa—which is, by the way, a fabulous city indeed. At least if they hadn’t had the nerve to ask at the end if everything was alright… No, nothing was alright.

25/05/2025: In the heart of the historic center of Genoa, an oasis of unmissable Sicilian flavors!! All homemade prepared at the moment. Excellent arancini, as well as gnocchi with swordfish, aubergines and almonds. The desserts are amazing...my favorite is the warm ricotta and chocolate cake. Well done👏👏

10/06/2025: Orazio ... what can I say, an institution in Marassi ... excellent selection of beers and don't miss trying a hamburger or a sausage sandwich, you won't be disappointed.
