As you walk through Genova narrow, dirty, scary and dark streets this is colourful sweet surprise and experience. A little Genova alternative of the famous cafe in Venice.

A historic café with a stunning interior and irresistible selection of delicious mini cakes. I stopped by to try a few and regretted not having room to taste even more. The prices aren’t exactly modest, but they’re absolutely worth it for the quality, atmosphere, and unforgettable flavors.

Excellent in every way!
The atmosphere was very refined and meticulously crafted. We had an excellent cappuccino and some truly delicious, fresh pastries: a special mention goes to the yuzu one, a true gem, perfectly balanced! What really made the difference, however, was the welcome: the young man who served us was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. We'll definitely be back; highly recommended!

The prices aren't modest, but the flavor of the miniatures we ordered, the quality of the ingredients, and the craftsmanship in the various preparations were so evident that I was happy to spend my money. And I'd gladly return.

I visited this place with the intention of trying their famous Falstaff, a croissant filled with hazelnut cream. Truly special. It was definitely worth it. The two miniature pastries (Sachertorte and Carrot Cake) were also excellent. I recommend a visit. Prices are average for local favorites.

This place caught our eye straight away. It stands out in the area with a really impressive setup, even gold detailing in the décor if you can picture it. The display window is full of cakes and small pastries, and since we were only in town for the day, the bite sized sweets were perfect for taking something on the road. We were helped by a lovely lady who suggested some local products and was genuinely warm and attentive. We ended up taking a box of mixed small pastries, where the tiramisu was the clear standout, though everything else was honest and high quality. For the trip back home we also picked up some local biscuits and a few chocolate treats. About the prices, I honestly don’t get the complaints. The menu and prices are visible before you order, so you know what you’re paying for, and what you pay is what you get. As we say back home, you eat first with your eyes and then with your stomach. Really impressive spot for the area and worth a visit.

Overall, much better than the Marescotti Cavo Pastry and Liquor Shop, in terms of location, offerings, and service. The non-Italian waiters are very kind and cheerful, but the Italians are so-so.
