01/08/2025: Weer een ervaring rijker. Lijkt alsof ik in een aflevering van Fawlty Towers terecht kom. NO GO. Gastvrijheid was er niet.

01/08/2025: Ik heb nog nooit zo’n onbeschoft personeel meegemaakt, we hebben fles wijn besteld en een cola die pas na 20 minuten kwamen toen we de 2de keer hadden gevraagd waar ons drinken is. Voordat we ons drinken kregen vroegen ze al om eten te bestellen. Het voorgerecht was prima, ik had de laatste hap in m’n mond en ze stonden al met het hoofdgerecht terwijl de net leeg gegeten borden er nog stonden, die werden zo uitgewisseld en dooreten. We hadden er wat van gezegd dat we t niet oké vonden dat we niet eens ons voorgerecht fatsoenlijk konden op eten voordat t volgende eraan kwam. Het personeel kon dat niet waarderen en waren onbeschoft en begonnen te hard en intimiderend te praten “wil je het eten of niet anders gaat t terug naar de keuken maar je gaat t wel betalen”. We konden geen antwoord geven en ze pakte onze onaangeraakte borden weg. Ze zei tegen ons dat de keuken om 9 uur dicht gaat, vonden we raar dat t niet vermeld was wanneer er om half 9 naar binnen kwamen. We gingen betalen en er waren 2 nieuwe tafels die gewoon rustig nog eten konden bestellen om half 10. We vroegen waarom wij zo snel moesten zijn en we kregen t antwoord “Is het jouw restaurant?”. Zeer onbeschoft persoon, geen reclame voor de horeca Italië, schande. Als je een leuke gezellige avond wilt met een leuke sfeer van de personeel zou ik hier niet heen gaan. Geen woorden voor het personeel, het was niet normaal… Ze willen zoveel mogelijk geld uit de tafels halen, klant is niet koning maar klant moet opschieten en wegwezen. Voor de “oudere” t is alsof je in een extreme aflevering van Fawlty Towers terecht komt.

31/08/2025: Dinner with friends, we ordered a pizza round based on the pizza chef's imagination, terrible pizza. They brought unlikely pizzas... all adult pizzas with chips and onions, no mozzarella, but it tasted like stracciatella burrata... heavy to obviously make the pizza round go down as quickly as possible. The dough was difficult to digest. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I will definitely not go back!

20/09/2025: Poor Spritz...€30 for 4 people...with chewy and poor appetizers, I asked for chips several times...really awful...

16/09/2025: A year after my previous review, I feel compelled to point out the exorbitant prices once again: two scoops of ice cream in a glass bowl and a bottle of blueberry juice for the modest sum of twelve euros. Truly too much. I don't think I'll ever set foot in there again.

18/09/2025: Highly recommended! The inn offers excellent cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The value for money is very good.

02/09/2025: The seating is lovely, centrally located near the beach. The staff is very attentive. The pizza is fantastic and reasonably priced.

08/10/2025: Food was great. Not sure what some other reviewers were experiencing, but I would return here any time. Don't come looking for michelin star wait staff, that's not what this place is about. If i am in the area again I would definitely come back.

26/09/2025: Ostaja San Vincenzo in Genoa. Upon entering, you might think it's a small gathering place for a few people, and sometimes, seeing all the seats taken might tempt interested visitors to move on. Instead, we asked if there was room and discovered that, in the back, there's a lovely space with room for at least 30 people. The dishes are prepared with a homely flair, and the result is truly appetizing. I especially loved the Trenette al Pesto. A warm, simple place to relax and eat well. A lovely discovery in Genoa, which I've never visited enough in recent years. Friendly staff and affordable prices. Four stars, fully deserved. And so I'm back on the road, always in search of the culinary excellence of our beautiful country. See you soon, my dear readers.

02/06/2025: We have been coming here for years but today I really want to write my review. Mrs. Sandra's cuisine is genuine, zero km and traditional Piedmontese, all home-made. The ravioli are Oscar-worthy, especially if enjoyed with a simple butter and thyme sauce that enhances the flavor. Everything is truly worth trying and we have tried every dish over time! There is a great choice of desserts, for example I am fond of the Mattonella and sometimes my husband eats it too, even though he doesn't like sweets. Also in the summer you can eat under the pergola.

24/09/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant and had a great time. The fried fish was excellent, the gnocchi and seafood pasta were delicious, and the desserts were also very popular. Thank you for welcoming us even without a reservation!

13/09/2025: Welcoming and pleasant staff. Very good, refined cuisine, reasonably sized portions, and very good wines. Seafood salad and vegetable flan with cheese sauce: excellent Baked cod and beef tenderloin: excellent Panna cotta and chocolate fondant tart: excellent In short, refined and tasty cuisine in reasonable portions. Highly recommended. The bill came to €148, with the wine at €45. A very reasonable price considering the quality of the dishes.

27/09/2025: A quaint and welcoming restaurant with a very family-friendly atmosphere, thanks to the owners, Mrs. Pina and her son, and the other staff, including the excellent pizza chef, Faisel. Yesterday we had a seafood dinner with spaghetti allo scoglio and mixed fried fish with a side of salad and tomatoes; everything was excellent. Tonight we had pizza, especially the amazing Portofino pizza...highly recommended. Excellent value for money. La Stiva deserves 5 stars. Well done!

27/09/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming staff (Ms. Pina), who makes customers feel at ease and like friends. Excellent food, we will also be back to try the pizza, which is inviting to the eye and, I think, to the palate as well.
