29/06/2025: My son, my husband and I went to try the restaurant for my son's communion... it immediately stole our heart... with their home-made taste... kindness and simplicity... without seeing or trying any other restaurant we stopped there... and the communion took place on June 8, 2025... had lunch with relatives, many compliments from them... fresh and excellent meals... tonight we're going again... to try their wood-fired pizza... definitely an explosion of goodness... we can't wait... and in any case for us it was voted 5 stars!!!!!! Compliments... to the owners... very nice waiters... and above all to Lorena... exceptional person and owner!!

13/07/2025: The restaurant is on Grottaferrata's main street and is very charming, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is friendly and fast. I recommend booking on weekends because it's always busy.

16/05/2025: Well-executed and not predictable appetizers. Delicious fried cod; octopus cbt executed to perfection. Mixed sushi to discover; Linguine with sea urchins risotto and really well creamed, cooked al dente, a shame a little too spicy. Fresh, tasty Catalana of shellfish, firm shellfish, just seared on the grill. Really pleasant desserts... we tried the mango cheesecake (and the fruit was very ripe) and a rosemary creme brulee that I accompanied with a slightly peated Yamazakura whisky, the Kenya variant coffee was served with a mix of sweet tastings and Belgian chocolate...attentive service. Compliments.

11/05/2025: The place is well-kept and beautiful to look at, it already starts off well on the surface so... the staff are courteous and attentive, kind, smiling and ready to help! The food... what can I say... very fresh fish of the highest quality, everything good from starters to desserts, an unforgettable experience!

16/04/2025: We celebrated our baptism here last Easter. Availability in the organization, they were very attentive and kind in choosing the menus and the room. Exquisite food, all guests complimented it. Excellent and highly recommended

02/03/2025: Non assiduamente ma sono oltre vent’anni che mi reco specialmente in estate per godere della fantastica Pergola naturale in questo ristorante , entravo e il primo tavolo sulla sinistra trovavi il proprietario, uno dei bravissimi camerieri con molti molti più capelli dei miei e di chiunque altro che a un certo punto mi hanno detto passato in cucina , il tavolo dei dolci a bufet ecc ecc stavolta a pranzo e in inverno primo di febbraio che ho trovato ? All interno un sentore di umidità e nell area bagno un convettore a parete buttato su di un tavolo alla faccia della sicurezza, vista la bella giornata ci siamo messi fuori chiedendo un tavolo che era libero (e così e’ rimasto ) che ci è stato negato perché prenotato , ma vorrei che vediate il tavolo pieno di piatti sporchi , indecente , poi siamo stati trascurati benché con due bambini , dopo l antipasto il nulla , mentre nei tavoli di persone più conosciute al cameriere arrivava di tutto e in più con una lunga spiegazione dei piatti a noi non fatta (fortunatamente già li conoscevo) che dire di solito trovo sempre un ragazzo che mi riconosce puntualmente stavolta no . Da un locale storico dare un punteggio così basso mi dispiace ma ad oggi posso solo sconsigliarlo per preferire locali in zona più moderni aperti da giovani più attenti a crearsi un curriculum rispetto a chi vive con gli antichi fasti . Ripeto sconsigliato

31/05/2025: €32 3 simple pizzas of which €8 a tasteless Margherita disc and €10 a boiled potato (when I was told baked). €2 for supplì...smaller than a croquette and with an indefinable flavor. 15 minute wait for such a small takeaway. Highly not recommended. Crazy prices for the quality of the food/ambience.

22/05/2025: I was at this restaurant last night for dinner. The interior is well-kept, with a balanced atmosphere, but there is a detail that I have only experienced here so far: when heavy vehicles pass on the road, the vibrations are practically transmitted into the room and can be annoying. The service is friendly. I have to give special praise to the scottona steak, which is one of the best I have ever tried. The only questionable thing is the services, you have to go outside and walk through part of the building to get in. I recommend it anyway.

01/06/2025: A very friendly host with incredibly good food. The ham in the room, freshly sliced, is a real eye-catcher. The host provided excellent advice on wine selection and his food recommendations. We were completely satisfied and would gladly return.

12/04/2025: All'asino d'oro ci si sente veramente a casa, il posto è molto carino e mai affollato o troppo rumoroso, lo chef e penso proprietario è una persona molto educata ed ospitale, abbiamo mangiato bene ed è stato un piacere scambiare con lui quattro chiacchiere. Eravamo a Grottaferrata per lavoro e per pochi giorni ma ci è piaciuto a tal punto che siamo tornati, grazie Martino!

13/05/2025: 5 stars for a 3 star hotel, you can't expect to be in a luxury hotel. It has everything it needs to have and more. The location is wonderful, with a large park outside, beautiful and well-kept. The common areas are very artistic, with musical instruments, CDs available, a small library, paintings and statues. The breakfast is plentiful and good. The service is excellent, the waiter is very nice and kind. Convenient to Rome, even if the transport is a bit hit and miss, but we managed to get around very well.

26/07/2025: Questa sera siamo stati rapinati. 300 euro in 6 per 1 etto di prosciutto 2 bocconcini di bufala 4 primi e due tagliate ( pensioni scarsissime materia prima mediocre). Ma il peggio arriva dopo, manifesto il mio disappunto per il servizio di basso livello i prezzi troppo alti in proporzione alla quantità delle porzioni e un ragazzoto arrogante e sgarbato assolutamente non adatto a stare al pubblico, rivendicando di essere il proprietario intavola una discussione alzando la voce e gesticolando come se stesse in curva allo stadio, e come se non bastasse mi dice che riusciranno a sopravvivere anche senza clienti come me. Vedremo !!!! Nel frattempo i miei soldi li porto a chi se li merita!

06/07/2025: Trusting the positive judgment, I purchased 2 bags through the Too good to go app, unfortunately finding the quality of the pizza very low. Probably because it was from the day before, the pizza was very dry and hard to the point that we could not eat most of it and unfortunately we had to throw it away. It is true that the offer proposed with this app is very advantageous, but I think it could be an excellent advertisement for the business if the customer was satisfied. Which in my case did not happen, obtaining instead the opposite result, to the point of deciding not to return to this pizzeria. The only positive thing, the kindness of the staff. The rest to forget.

19/06/2025: The first time I was passing by, the second time I stopped by specifically to eat again at Franca's pizzeria. The smiling, helpful staff carefully explains each dish you order. I highly recommend it.

21/06/2025: Nice place, good wine and cuisine. The bruschetta and pork are very tasty. Prepared very well.

12/05/2025: I have never been to this place and I never will, I was cursed on the phone because I dared to ask repeated questions in various phone calls to organize a classy dinner which has its own organizational difficulties, I quote the words 'it's going to piss me off' and 'ma'am, but you're sick, do you understand me'?! Extreme rudeness and in 42 years of life no restaurateur has ever been so rude, they tried to make up for it with a second call but it was too late, a shame because the class was intending to come but after this episode we changed our minds, luckily I found another patient restaurateur who answered all our doubts and we will go elsewhere... they reiterated that it was better to see the place in person or make a video call but I couldn't, that's not why I should have been treated so badly... zero absolute!
