The pizza—I had a marinara and my partner a diavola...—was like a giant biscuit with inedible, grainy mozzarella...
After leaving all the wine on the table and 3/4 of the pizza, I think the worst thing was that the owner didn't even ask what the problem was...
I didn't give it a zero because it's not allowed...

03/06/2026: Reluctantly, despite the panoramic setting and the location, which are a natural wonder, I must say that I personally wouldn't recommend the restaurant, even though it's well-maintained and has outdoor space for children. Unfortunately, for the quality and expectations of a mountain farmhouse, it wasn't disappointing, but awful. Appetizer: a small plate of lentils, a small plate of coratella bread, and a small plate of ham and cheese. First courses: Fettuccine with "frozen" chanterelle mushrooms, a small quantity, raw, cold, and tasteless, and the venison dish was the same.
Second course: Cold and dry baked meat with potatoes or chicory, all cold.
For the children: First course: Fettuccine with ODDIO MIO sauce.
Second course: Breaded slices for the children. Very thin, like a slice of breaded ham, dry and cold.
Dessert and digestives.
2 adults, 2 menus €40 each
Two children, 1 menu €20
€100 is an absurd price for a farmhouse, especially considering the quality and quantity of the menu. Unfortunately, they offer food that's not cooked and served well.
I hope this helps improve everything, because it's a real shame, despite the setting, to return with less than a pleasant memory.
I'll answer your question.
You can't call yourself a restaurant because you offer a set menu and only offer a choice of two first courses and side dishes. However, the problem isn't your definition of a business, but rather the quality and expertise in producing and serving dishes.
Regarding my comment about chanterelle mushrooms, which can be frozen or fresh to be served in a restaurant, I'll add a small point: given the time of year we're talking about, we're talking about the end of May, June 2nd is not exactly the season for "FRESH" chanterelle mushrooms, at least in Italy.
In any case, the reason for the poor quality and production capacity isn't due to the lack of direct electricity, as it's produced by a generator, so there is electricity, nor to the lack of phone service, but rather to the kitchen's capabilities.
You mentioned the cold pasta, but that's one, and perhaps the least, of the problems I mentioned. I mentioned fresh pasta, that is, almost raw fettuccine; I mentioned the saltiness of the dishes; I mentioned the way you serve the dishes: the breaded slice you served for the children is a breaded wafer, cold and dry, not the best; the meat may be the best, but you prepare it poorly. Having said that, I have no interest in persisting in giving you a negative review but, as I have already specified, I hope it will help you improve everything a little, unfortunately to the detriment of us customers who, despite the context and the location not being very easy to reach, certainly does not give us the certain possibility of recommending it to others and of returning.
02/06/2026: I'm not giving the 5th star just for the food. The venison pappardelle wasn't special. On June 2nd, the menu was fixed. The roast was too dry.

01/03/2026: We had dinner last night 27/2/26, I was unfortunately disappointed. We took some appetizers including fried pizzas (very greasy) and patience, but the last supplì served inside were still frozen. I took a gluten-free pizza and I could only consume the edge and the part immediately next to it because the inside of the pizza base was raw. I suppose there was a cooking error, a shame because the correctly cooked part was good. The desserts were good

20/02/2026: I've known the restaurant for many years, where the food is excellent. It was recently and tastefully renovated, as was the hotel. I stayed there for one night. The room and bathroom were spacious and well-appointed. I was captivated by the simple yet elegant atmosphere. The hotel is family-run, and everyone is very friendly. Highly recommended.

28/04/2026: Excellent cuisine, attentive and prompt service. The access is via country roads, and the last short stretch is unpaved, allowing you to escape the constraints and hassles of the city. It's a beautifully restored complex of country buildings, preserving the rustic charm of a rural setting. We were there for a birthday party and were practically the only ones in the restaurant, along with six other people at separate tables.

13/06/2026: TOO EXPENSIVE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. 1 appetizer split in half with my friend, 2 first courses (gnocchi with Gorgonzola that also had Parmesan cheese inside, but the waiter hadn't mentioned it), 1 dessert split in half (tiramisu with too much cream in it), 1 bottle of water, 1/4 bottle of wine split in half. €67 total. The grated truffle was excellent, but on the flan.
A place that has Michelin stars from various years hanging on the walls, but which also needs an overhaul, especially considering the wall decor that's been there since last Christmas. And then there's the terrible habit of saying, "For the menu, you can look on the blackboard near the door or take a photo." Your laziness in printing out a menu to hand to the table or suggesting someone hand out the daily menu to the table with a piece of paper isn't a sign of professionalism, but rather of tiredness. After the first course, the waiter also said, "We'll have to wait 10 minutes for dessert." But no, you can ask me what I'd like for dessert and, if necessary, I'll ask if it's possible to wait 10 minutes. There were only 3 guests in the restaurant that day, including us.

A warm welcome and cuisine in the purest Italian tradition. You must take advantage of it quickly, as places are becoming increasingly scarce.

01/05/2026: I don't understand the people who give this place a bad review. We arrived at 3 pm and he offered us lunch, a super friendly older gentleman who was a jack of all trades. He made us a fabulous appetizer and carbonara, delicious. Home-style cooking, super rustic and "spartan" place. But then again, why disparage someone who runs a business like this in such a small village? For those who walk the path, it's an oasis in the desert, but I'd go back with friends for a casual lunch. See you soon, Valerio, and thanks for your hospitality! But then we paid a pittance for an appetizer, two carbonaras, four beers, water, coffee, and free donuts. What can you say to him?
