01/04/2024: Pleasantly familiar environment. Super generous portions. The best, the tagliatelle alla griscia, I hope written well, nothing short of exceptional. The meat very good. Price more than fair. I declare the lady a "heritage of humanity".

11/03/2024: Journey of hope with a really dilapidated truck and with a retired companion in a state of constant agitation. On the way back, when the anxiety had subsided, we were struck by a very dangerous pang of hunger, thanks to the mountain breeze and the constant changes in altitude. My retired companion remembered this place where he had eaten years before: "it's a lady who cooks at home". We wander around a bit to find the lady but nothing, I launch myself into the navigator and find various names but the answer from my retired companion is always the same: "no the name is too refined it can't be", as soon as I mention "the shin" the my companion says: "yes let's go". We spot from afar what we think might be the lady's husband, we urge him with: "can we eat?!?" And he: "Here we always eat". Parking in front of a beautiful, ancient source. Once you enter, the tablecloths bought on postalmarket immediately catch your eye and a room that exudes history on all sides, you immediately feel at home. We sit next to a Nordica stove, which at least will have burned the entire Amazon forest, always kept at maximum power by the owner of the house and immediately sublimates all the efforts of the day. My retired companion, obsessed with tripe he tried years before, does nothing but repeat to the lady "I want tripe" while we were trying to order and so to break the deadlock I say to the lady: "do it yourself". Excellent choice, a tray immediately arrives with coppa and ham of excellent quality with pleasant hints of orange, bruschetta made on the fly with garlic (very powerful, I made people run away for days, so a very positive thing), wine red and sparkling water. The tripe that had been advertised to me for hours did not disappoint: a nice text that normal people would consume in 4, spicy and not too rinsed and the broccoli that accompanied it was also spicy. The very bitter gentian did nothing but confirm that the lunch was not suitable for delicate palates and was also greatly appreciated. The sets of all different dishes, the kindness of the lady and the food made me feel truly at home, thank you for everything. Fortunately my retired companion fell asleep after lunch.

13/04/2024: Siamo arrivati in famiglia verso le 15:00 e ci hanno servito lo stesso gentilmente e pazientemente con piatti buonissimi di alta qualità,e, per non parlare della schiacciata fatta benissimo a mano e morbida e croccante sotto i denti. Sul tavolo c’erano bellissimi fiori rosa e rossi e foglioline verdi chiaro e come parte finale di questo fiorellino ci sono dei bellissimi sassolini di vari colori felici.Il Caffè era molto buono e dolce.Poi uno dei pochi buoni a Greccio,anzi forse il migliore.

29/03/2024: I am a pilgrim. By pure chance I found myself having lunch with my girlfriend at Evasio e Laura. He is a good man who made us feel at home as soon as we entered and she is an excellent cook. We wanted to taste a typical dish, without weighing ourselves down, and continue walking but... We remained at the table for more than two hours enchanted by the goodness of the dishes which unfortunately I didn't think to photograph along the way... I think if you want to taste traditional recipes cooked with love you have to switch to Pannocchia! I'll post the only photograph I took, some handmade biscuits to accompany with a good glass of red.

26/03/2024: If we had been their guests at home they wouldn't have treated us better! Very welcoming and friendly family management, with dishes prepared especially for us with fresh ingredients selected from the local DOPs. Gnocchi and fettuccine sang on the plate, the artichokes were very fresh and cooked to perfection, the house wine was genuine and I even ate a trifle better than grandma's!

10/12/2023: Superlativo! Raramente si trovano ristoranti con il rapporto qualità, prezzo e servizio al pari di questo. Trovati a transitare per caso da queste parti, prima di "interpellare " TripAdvisor, abbiamo chiesto ad una persona del posto... Ci siamo fidati. Devo dire che, siamo stati molto meglio delle aspettative. Ci torneremo di proposito, l'onestà e la qualità premiano.

30/10/2023: Ho dato 5 stelle perché le vale tutte, se si poteva ne avrei messe anche 6. Sono andata con una comitiva di amici e siamo rimasti tutti soddisfatti per la qualità e la quantità di quello che abbiamo mangiato e poi sono stati tutti cortesi la proprietaria è una persona veramente alla mano lo consiglio vivamente.

Unfortunately, this restaurant completely disappointed us during our vacation. After a lovely day in Rome, we decided to stop here for a meal on our way back to a colleague's. However, both the meat and the fish turned out to be some of the worst dishes I have ever tasted. They were so poorly grilled that they tasted like tough shoe soles. Despite our complaint to the owner, who dismissed the dry meat as a kitchen error, we paid and left the premises. Such incidents should prompt reflection on whether what is served meets customer expectations and if constructive criticism is accepted. Therefore, we cannot recommend this restaurant and instead suggest other establishments that take care of their guests with dedication. 06/01/2024: Characteristic and familiar atmosphere! Excellent welcome always with a smile on the owner's lips. Homemade cuisine, exposed wood oven to admire the professionalism of the pizza makers! Two distinct rooms, one more dedicated to families and the other to young people. Good selection of beers. Totally recommended!

03/03/2024: Abundant and good appetizer, excellent pizza even if a little too low for my tastes at least, fast and always smiling service all topped off with a pleasant atmosphere and a place that takes you back in time. Congratulations and I must say that the price is right.

16/03/2024: Esperienza meravigliosa. Siamo stato accolti dalla proprietaria e da sua figlia appena arrivati in auto; persone squisite ed amorevoli. I nostri due bambini erano entusiasti di giocare liberi con i loro cagnolini. Cibo ottimo. Servizio superlativo. Location semplice ma molto elegante e curata. Attenzione maniacale al cliente. Non vediamo l ora di ritornarci.

09/03/2024: Found this place by accident when driving around. Very cute restaurant, with lovely waiters and hostess. Fine dining with all local products! We recommend the wagyu carpaccio, delicious! We will definitely come back for dinner.

02/01/2024: Veramente una bella sorpresa in questo stupendo borgo. Ristorante a conduzione familiare, ottimi piatti, un mix tra Abruzzo e Sardegna. Servizio ottimo, ti fanno sentire come a casa. I prezzi sono nella media, giusti per servizio e qualità. Abbiamo passato un buon pranzo del primo dell’anno.

01/01/2024: Truly a nice surprise in this beautiful village. Family-run restaurant, excellent dishes, a mix between Abruzzo and Sardinia. Excellent service, they make you feel at home. Prices are average, fair for service and quality. We had a good New Year's Day lunch.

30/12/2023: So this place is a bunch of corrugated iron shacks corralled together on top of a mountain about an hour drive north east of Rome. It’s a forested area with an outside toilet (clean) and a playground for kids. The guy who owns it (Marchello) is affable and I think his wife and her sister do all the cooking. Italian peasant food at its best! We had bruschetta with the most aromatic olive oil followed by homemade pasta with local wild mushrooms and black truffle as our starters. For main course I had grilled lamb chops with boiled vegetables and french fries. All super simple and delicious. The house red was light and smooth and matched the lamb chops perfectly.

28/11/2023: Cisterna stands out for its decidedly Spartan atmosphere, a peculiarity that makes it unique among other places. Set in the greenery, it is ideal for enjoying outdoor meals during the summer. As for the food, it doesn't reach exceptional heights. The pizzas, while having an acceptable flavour, are noticeably thin and sometimes slightly burnt. It should be noted that the service, although affable, is often slow and not always timely in responding to requests. The use of paper or plastic plates helps to emphasize the rustic and informal look of the place.

25/01/2024: Immersed in Sabina with a terrace on the hills that makes you dream, excellent cuisine with local delicacies and quality choices! After various dinners with friends we decided to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday with a buffet dinner, all excellent with many courses and the tables set up in a Impeccable! Mrs Augusta was exceptional, courteous and helpful! Highly recommended!

01/04/2024: 8 of us ate on Easter Sunday. 2 vegetarians. Set menu. Huge portions and super delicious. Compliments to the cook Fiorella because being able to satisfy (beyond expectations) two vegetarians like us is not for everyone. Many renowned restaurants should come and learn from her. Superlative homemade desserts, the tiramisu is the bomb 🤩. All high quality products. Family location, entertainment with billiards, table football and excellent music made the day pleasant and fun. Reasonable price.

25/02/2024: 78 euros for three for a platter of appetizers with a mozzarella divided into 3 and 3 first courses with tomato... not even wine. Do we need to add anything else?
