15/08/2025: Oliva e l'ingegneria is always a guarantee! I'm returning to this restaurant after a two-year absence because I live out of town, and I've finally rediscovered the pleasure of a superb culinary experience. The atmosphere is quiet, clean, and welcoming. On summer evenings, you can eat outside, and the service is attentive and discreet. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from appetizers to desserts, including meat and fish dishes, as well as more neutral options to satisfy vegetarians, and a well-stocked wine list. Each dish is truly beautiful, and upon tasting, it's an explosion of flavor! At Oliva e l'ingegneria, seasonality and local produce are respected, and the level of quality, flavor, and originality make this a truly unique experience! I recommend trying this restaurant because it's truly a discovery of new flavors and combinations not found elsewhere in the area. 30/08/2025: Last night my daughter took us to Mizzon for dinner (let me start by saying we went there in July last year, which was delicious, and then at the end of August last year, which was really poor, with the excuse that it was late and there were a lot of us). Yesterday I was with my family, and we gave it another try. It's true that I'm picky, and so is my family, because I cook very well and always focus on quality and freshness, and my children call me "the fool," but yesterday we were disappointed, despite the kindness of the owners, the efficiency of the staff, and the beauty of the place. We chose the mixed seafood appetizer, which was nothing special, edible, except for the sautéed mussels, which was not bad. Then for the first course, the paccheri with monkfish. The sauce was too red (in fact, it wasn't fresh tomato) and overpowered the flavor of the fish, and the paccheri didn't please. It's a shame I had high expectations. The spaghetti with clams was lukewarm and bland, and the desserts were quite good. Disappointed, when I head to the seaside I expect delicious dishes, and when I eat them my eyes start to turn into hearts... I forgot the prices are in line with the prices of the seaside area.

12/08/2025: A place that is not very visible, close to the climb to Castelforte, an excellent location on the road, but it would need a sign that gives it more visibility from both points of origin. The flaw is that it does not have good parking. The place is very characteristic, all in bare stone and well structured, with the right capacity for well-managed management. In fact, one detail that I immediately noticed is that they have perfect timing. From the moment the customer is seated, there is a perfect sequence of times between the waiter who serves the menus and asks if he can serve water, a perfect order taken with full clarification of the dishes and a final summary to synchronize their arrival. As already mentioned, perfect timing both in terms of the time from the order and the interval of times between the dishes, I would say a Swiss clock. Congratulations to everyone. Excellent service, accompanied by friendliness and kindness as well as impeccable professionalism. Excellent appetizers of typical local products accompanied by many local delicacies prepared in a delicious way. I tasted two first courses that were nothing short of delicious, and one that was as rich as it was. The seasoning was not heavy at all, a perfect balance that didn't disturb at all. The meats were prepared on a grill that you're delighted just by looking at it and intoxicating yourself with the aroma it emanates. Excellent meats for all tastes, high-quality, prepared to perfection according to the customer's cooking preferences. Various side dishes of seasonal products were served, rightly so and very well prepared. A good selection of wines, not very extensive but perhaps due to space, should be enriched by adding something more special in my opinion. Delicious desserts, both homemade and external, from well-known Sorrento patisseries. Let's say a triumph of sweetness to be savored in rotation. (I would avoid spray cream as a decoration on the plate. If you really want to add it, I recommend preparing it fresh or varying with something else, such as berry juice, black cherries in juice, and more. However, spray cream is reductive when placed next to a good dessert.) The Cherry and Genziana were excellent. Congratulations to everyone, an excellent venue, excellent service, a quality that dominates everything, and a feeling of serenity while sitting down for a very comfortable dinner.

21/08/2025: We returned after the remodel... and once again, Sisters has confirmed its status as a must-visit in Latina Scalo! The restaurant has undergone a makeover, with a warmer and more refined atmosphere, now firmly focused on dining, without losing its traditionally welcoming spirit. A clear improvement in quality, both in the ambiance and the menu. The owners are always courteous, smiling, and attentive, and manage to convey that feeling of being at home that is increasingly rare these days. The lunch was excellent, as we've come to expect. Carefully crafted dishes, quality ingredients, authentic flavors, and generous portions. Each course reflects attention and passion. We also took a few photos (which I'm happy to attach) because they truly deserve it: not only delicious, but also beautiful to look at! Congratulations on the new look and the consistent quality that has never wavered over the years. We'll definitely be back... and we recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end lunch break or a casual lunch with style.

11/08/2025: The Osteria La Portella restaurant is a family-run establishment located in the center of Sonnino in a beautifully renovated building. We were extremely impressed by the friendly service and the quality of the ingredients. The dishes are exceptional: homemade pasta, Sonnino-style goat, and snails. We will definitely be back. I'm updating this review almost a year later for another truly positive experience. Ignazio, his wife, and his entire family made us feel at home and delighted us with their pasta dishes and a traditional lamb cacciatore. We also discovered the truly remarkable Abbuoto wine from the Monti Cecubi winery. Many compliments and we look forward to returning soon.

Everything we ate was excellent and we will return to eat other Sicilian specialties. Congratulations for the excellent value for money. Thanks to its indoor and outdoor dining areas, the restaurant can easily host multiple events. The outdoor dining area (with pool) overlooking Monte San Biagio is particularly beautiful. The service is impeccable. Highly recommended!

22/08/2025: A place surrounded by greenery. Just a few kilometers from the stunning Torre Astura sea. Very welcoming rooms, with a modern and innovative design. All the necessary comforts are present, without being pretentious, of course, considering it's a B&B. We stayed in the Green Suite. In my opinion, every detail was meticulously designed and beautifully appointed. The cleanliness is nothing short of astonishing. The perfect location to unwind and find some peace and relaxation. The owners are helpful and friendly. I recommend this experience to everyone.

15/08/2025: Great experience! Even though the place is both a pizzeria and a restaurant, I only tried the pizzas, and I have to say they were truly excellent. Light, well-leavened dough, with fresh, plentiful ingredients. The service was friendly and fast, and the atmosphere was welcoming and welcoming. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the food, but the pizza is definitely worth a visit! It'll be my regular stop every time I pass through Formia. Plus, the prices are low, honest, and fair. The place isn't big, so I recommend making a reservation.

06/08/2025: Cena a menu fisso, semplice ma davvero gustosa, a un prezzo più che giusto. L’Oste Matto è simpatico, cordiale e si è dimostrato molto affettuoso con il nostro bambino, che ha coccolato per tutta la serata. Il locale è molto carino, sia all’interno che sulla terrazza: accogliente e con uno staff sempre disponibile, ma mai invadente nel proporre le portate successive. Consigliatissimo. È stata senza dubbio la miglior cena della nostra vacanza!

Personale cordiale, gentile e sorridente, ma il plus é Peppe, l'oste matto: un uomo simpaticissimo e sempre attento e premuroso. Il locale serve un menù fisso composto da 5 antipasti, primo, secondo contorno, dolce, caffè, amari ed acqua. Piatti gustosi e vari. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottima... Stra consigliato!
