15/05/2025: Quiet, intimate, well-run place. I really liked this tavern in the village of Casalvieri in many ways. I give 10 cum laude to the appetizer I had called Vignarola: a mix of artichoke wedges, asparagus and courgettes, I think browned in a pan, with the addition of mint leaves for a taste and aroma that is now unusual to find, unless the meal is prepared in our homes. Followed by roast chicken with potatoes made as at home and a side of cooked wild vegetables. All very good and well cooked.

27/04/2025: Enchanted from the first moment, upon entering the welcoming sight of the lady expertly preparing fresh pasta. There is no à la carte menu but only a tasting itinerary totally at the chef's discretion consisting of three vegetarian starters, two first courses and one second course which change based on the seasonality and availability of the raw materials which are of excellent quality. Recommended if you want to try a place that smells of home and tradition

12/05/2025: A very versatile restaurant for any type of event, but which needs a little attention to detail. The LOCATION is very large and spacious especially outside where it offers an excellent porch by the pool where you can feast. The FOOD is of excellent quality and offers a wide choice of meat and fish which is their strong point. The SERVICE is professional and satisfies customers' choices and requests. NEGATIVE POINT the road to get to the restaurant is a bit bumpy

15/06/2025: Lunch out of town during a motorbike ride that took us to Isola del Liri. Someone in the group had been there and had booked. Basically a trattoria like those you find less and less around. The menu and the courses basically reflect the image you have when you enter. The pasta is homemade and seasoned with pork or wild boar ragù, excellent meat and side dishes. Prices in line with the perceived quality

25/05/2025: My daughter had lunch in this beautiful place for a friend's First Communion. She had a great time, the waiters were very kind and fast, the food was good and the location was very cute especially for taking pictures, the pool and the garden were very beautiful. We parents went for the cake and we tasted various sweets, the delicious chocolate waterfall, the strawberries, in short everything was excellent and fresh, even the drinks we tasted like sparkling wine, various bitters and very good coffee.

23/05/2025: Lovely place to get some lunch ☺️ We went at late lunchtime / early afternoon and were lucky somewhere was still open at lunchtime in Alatri. We enjoyed pecorino panchetta pasta and Ragu fettuccine. We also got an absolutely amazing dessert - the ricotta, pear and chocolate torte = yummy and highly recommended. An amazing setting with stone archways, walking up the cobbled alley to the entrance and throughout the main seating area. We got by as English speakers, only Italian was spoken, but we Google translated the menu, and had a great time 👌😊

10/05/2025: The place is truly splendid and fascinating. Really friendly staff and delicious food. We were also offered bruschetta with cherry tomatoes on top before eating.
