05/05/2026: We returned to this historic restaurant, and as always, the pizza did not disappoint. The real highlight is the dough: light, fragrant, and incredibly digestible. You can tell they put a lot of care into the leavening process and the choice of flours; the ingredients are fresh and top-quality. The only complaint is the wait times, which were a bit long throughout the evening. However, the friendly staff and the delicious food more than made up for our patience. The prices are absolutely fair and honest for the quality of the offerings. If you're looking for one of the best pizzas in the area, this is the place. We'll definitely be back!

03/05/2026: If you have dogs, be warned: the staff isn't very welcoming. Even though we'd made a reservation and let them know we had them, they almost refused to let us out. Otherwise, the food was good, but the service left a bit to be desired. (I forgot...my cell phone number was clearly visible on the table. Long live privacy.)

25/04/2026: The atmosphere is very nice, even if the view isn't great. The staff are very friendly, and the food is excellent. The gnocco lungo is textbook. The prices are fair.

21/03/2026: We had a last-minute lunch and they found room for two. First course, second course, and two side dishes. They treated us to two samples of their tart and two homemade wine donuts: excellent. Two Easter eggs, given the time of year. Highly recommended.

02/05/2026: I found this place on Google, with a good rating and good reviews. I booked a table for three adults (one with a disability) for dinner. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with courtesy and kindness by the lady. The place is very cute, and the dining room has windows with a beautiful panoramic view. The only drawback (for me, a disabled person) was the bathroom, which is in the basement and has stairs. But I can say that the lady was very kind, allowing me to use the employee bathroom downstairs. We started our dinner with the house mixed antipasto, which was truly delicious, made with quality, seasonal ingredients. Then we ordered three Margherita pizzas with buffalo mozzarella. The dough was very good, as was the buffalo mozzarella; my only complaint was the tomato sauce, which was a bit undercooked and runny. Finally, the desserts: the best! The amarena brittle was delicious. Overall, we had a great time. A few weeks later, we returned, this time for lunch, and we also enjoyed the food. I can confirm my positive experience!

01/04/2026: WHAT A SURPRISE!!! We found this place on Google, and as soon as we arrived, we were greeted by Barbara, who pampered us until the very end. The dining room was very bright and had a panoramic view. The mixed vegetable appetizers were simply delicious, using quality, seasonal ingredients. The first courses, gnocchi with artichoke cream and provola cheese, were remarkable (Barbara made us happy because the gnocchi sauce on the menu was ragù), and the trofie (even though they're not called that on the menu, but I don't remember) with pecorino cheese and guanciale, were UNIQUE!! The second course, strips of pasta with porcini mushrooms and sautéed broccoli, concluded a lunch where my wife and I had a wonderful time. Oh, and I forgot the donuts at the end of the meal, which were also delicious.

10/12/2025: This was a fantastic discovery for us, being new to Ceccano. They're open for lunch from 12 to 3 pm and dinner from 7 pm. Esther, the owner and chef, prepares excellent comfort food for all courses. Every time we return to Ceccano, we eat at Esther's more and more often. Her staff is friendly and makes us feel at home, even though our Italian isn't very good yet. Her children also make us feel welcome and it's always a pleasure to meet them when we're there. There's excellent outdoor seating and inside, which displays photos of pre-war Ceccano. Great atmosphere, great food, wonderful people. You won't be disappointed!

31/10/2025: What a wonderful little restaurant! Signora Assunta and her cook (?) spontaneously treated us to the very best their kitchen had to offer. Their warmth and delicious Italian food made our 47th wedding anniversary a truly special occasion. Thank you so much! We'll definitely be back!

03/05/2026: A spectacular place worth trying. The young chef is truly talented and offers perfectly balanced dishes, delicious and beautifully presented. Everything was so good that we ordered almost everything on the menu to try them. The homemade pasta is delicious and you can taste it. The desserts are also sublime. It's worth the trip to Fiuggi to eat here. The wines are excellent and the staff is kind and competent. A perfect combination of trattoria and restaurant. You feel at home like in a good trattoria, but you eat like in a great restaurant. We'll be back to try the new dishes.

17/02/2026: I spent the month of November 2025 at this wonderful little Hotel and Restaurant while on a work assignment in the area. It was one of the most comfortable accommodations I have ever experienced in any hotel. To keep that statement in perspective, let me just state that I travel for work six to eight months of the year. The staff and service was wonderful and made me feel very much at home, even overlooking and gently correcting cultural faux pas on my part. This villa is off the beaten path, yet the gourmet restaurant on the main floor is full most evenings due to the fact that the food is exquisite and the food service is quick and efficient. Their wine is quite good, too, being of a local variety, and I purchased a bottle to take home. Every member of staff is very helpful and personable, and they treated me like family during my longish stay. I would very much like to return someday, and I can very much recommend this hotel in its uncrowded, rural setting away from the crowds of Rome for people who are touring Italy. There is easy access just off the Autostrada, and plenty of parking.

10/03/2026: Just a lunch that turned out to be appetizing.... excellent first courses but the grilled meat on a cutting board with a heated steel plate that kept the meat tender and warm was the best... quick, punctual, helpful and why not even friendly service
