17/05/2026: I found the place on the map and came across the "low" prices... I'm not a bad guest... the atmosphere, plastic plates, etc. don't bother me... but my carbonara was just sour... I hope it's the special spice and not the rotten milk... I've already eaten it, but I've been sad for half a day... I got the "combo" for €12, so I also had water and tiramisu. That's amazing!! I've never even tried it anywhere in Italy before. But I think it's very tasty. Moderately sweet and airy🌺 And I had no luck with the pasta at all😢

13/05/2026: My husband and I went here last night after finding a discount coupon for one of the takeout boxes we'd ordered about ten days ago (a great idea, especially since we've been eating takeout here for years and had never actually eaten there). The pizza was delicious (the margherita reminded me of Saturday nights with my family), and the sausage and truffle pizza was absolutely delicious. Not to mention the fried food. A delicious pizzeria, and the people who work there are friendly and attentive. These days, when we're all numbers, that's not a given. Really good!

03/05/2026: Truly surprising, we had lunch here at the end of our weekend in Lazio. We happened upon this bistro and were delighted with everything, from the kindness of the staff to the quality of the food. We highly recommend it if you're passing through Alatri, and you should definitely stop here in addition to visiting the town.

30/04/2026: I had an absolutely unforgettable experience here. The food was simply outstanding — without a doubt the best pasta I’ve ever had, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. And the mille foglie (mille-feuille) was beyond incredible, easily the best I’ve tasted. The service matched the quality of the food: attentive, warm and genuinely welcoming. Overall, everything — the food, the service and the atmosphere — was amazing. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

16/05/2026: I think this is the best bar we've been to so far in Rome. There are so many Irish pubs, and it's not easy to find a normal bar. The chips were good, and the burger was delicious. It was nice that we could add our own toppings. They also have different types of beer. The service quality is good, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Just a heads-up: beer is generally very expensive in Italy, about the same price as cocktails. But this isn't just the case here; prices are like that throughout Italy. Otherwise, I'd love to come here every week :)

17/05/2026: Breathtaking view over the rooftops of Rome. Incredible sunset. Fairly "traditional" dishes. Nothing eccentric or innovative, but everything executed very well. Excellent restaurant!

01/05/2026: Trattoria in Manziana near Bracciano, on a street where there's always space to park. The place is very large and always busy. The waiters are very kind and very smart. Excellent food, average prices.

The place seems enchanting: you walk in the door and it feels like you're somewhere completely different, an intimate and peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at home. This is certainly thanks to the excellent service and noteworthy welcome. The dishes are nothing short of amazing, I regret not having taken a photo of the main courses as well: the plating is also noteworthy, along with the cuisine and the highest-quality products. You can feel all the love and dedication, and Manziana is a true gem overlooking the lake; there's an incredible tranquility that creates a magical atmosphere. We'll definitely be back to try all the other specialties 💓

06/12/2025: Highly recommended, the first courses are exceptional and plentiful, the pasta frittatas are excellent, and the babbamisu is delicious. The sandwiches are huge and unique. All the staff who served us were excellent, especially Guerino.

21/05/2026: This place is absolutely stunning and probably offers one of the best views of Rome and the Vatican. Make sure you pop up to the rooftop Terrace which is above the outside restaurant for unspoiled views of the city. Food was sensational. The team servers were very attentive, thank you all Well worth treating yourself to a visit.

20/05/2026: We got this tip from an Italian and found it totally worth it. It is advisable to reserve in advance for a good spot, as it can get busy around sunset. Additionally, we found it quite pricey, but according to our recommendation, we really had to go here! The rooftop terrace was filled with plants and flowers and beautiful tables, creating a luxurious and cozy atmosphere. On the rooftop terrace, you could choose a drink and some tasty treats selected by the chef. We enjoyed the view with an Aperol! 🍹

11/05/2026: Always good, well-prepared pasta dishes, well-cooked grill, but the baked potatoes weren't perfect, and the zuppa inglese was dry. Some of the traditional Roman dishes have disappeared from the menu, but overall, it's a good place. The wine cellar is top-notch, and the selection method is pleasant.

03/01/2026: A great place for breakfast, the coffee is very reasonably priced and the filled cornettos are spectacular. The service was superb, everything was perfect!

30/05/2026: The place looks great; the entrance stands out from the surrounding area, and a beautiful bush surrounds the entrance. The interior has a lot of personality and is welcoming and quiet. 5 stars for the place. The staff is very professional and kind, never too intrusive. 5 stars for the service. The food is top-quality, starting with the appetizer. The house appetizer is spectacular; the cheese with honey is excellent. The beef carpaccio is very flavorful, which is unusual compared to what you find in other similar places. The capocollo and salami are top-notch, congratulations. The highlight of the appetizer is the focaccia made by them with pork stew, a combination of flavors that make your palate dance. The bruschetta with ragù was also very good. The cabbage was good, but there was too much vinegar, in fact, it was the only dish we left. The potato millefeuille with rose beef is exceptional, a unique delicacy; I would have eaten only that, it was so good. Moving on to the first courses, we ordered a well-made carbonara, nothing spectacular but excellent nonetheless. The gricia was different from the "traditional" one, with the addition of rosemary. The choice of egg pasta for the gricia was highly appreciated, making the dish very light and delicate, perhaps a little dry for my taste. There wasn't much cream cheese, probably absorbed by the egg pasta, but despite that, it was truly good and delicate. The fillet steak was exquisite, prime meat and cooked perfectly as requested, served with regular salt and poplar-smoked salt, which was a real surprise. It had the smell of a felled and freshly burned tree, truly amazing. The baked potatoes were exceptional; the addition of a spice that I imagine is paprika makes them truly stand out from the classic ones you find around. Finally, the desserts: the chocolate cream puffs, unfortunately, lacked chocolate. There were pieces of chocolate in the cream, and they were served on a chocolate base, but the chocolate flavor wasn't that strong. They were still good, though. I recommend dipping the cream puffs in the chocolate cream on the bottom of the plate to make them perfect. The ricotta, almond, chocolate, and black cherry cake was delicious, a great end to a meal. Perhaps the black cherry overpowered the rest of the flavors. I recommend slightly reducing the amount inside. For the 4-star food, everything was very good and of excellent quality. Your specialties are sublime. A few flaws here and there lowered the rating, but absolutely everything was excellent. Highly recommended for those passing through the area and also for those who live in Rome and the surrounding area. I recommend a trip there for the breathtaking view and the excellent food at Osteria da Charlie.
