A beautiful discovery. The little corner can be defined as a micro restaurant, and honestly I think it's an advantage. One note, if I were Mirko, I would take care of the place a little more.

Truly unique place, in the simplicity of its location, expertly managed in an excellent manner by Mirko, who is capable of making you feel truly at home. The quality of the dishes is truly very high, unlike the bill which is truly modest.. If you are near Monterotondo, a stop at Mirko's Angoletto is an obligation.

What can I say, well done Mirko! We stumbled upon this really interesting little place by chance where the young owner works completely alone for almost the whole week and does everything; from cooking delicious dishes to rearranging the restaurant when it closes. Plus he's a really nice person (which is rare these days). The dishes are plentiful and very tasty; I recommend the tonnarelli alla cuccagna with sausage, bacon and pecorino and the risotto with gorgonzola and pistachio... mouth-watering. With appetizer, quarter of house wine and water, we didn't even spend €20 per person! In short Mirko, many, many compliments! See you soon. :) Ps: there aren't any photos because we couldn't wait to taste everything!

Un angoletto veramente delizioso come tutte le sue pietanze, materie prime ottime e piatti squisiti, si percepisce l’amore che il proprietario Mirko mette nel suo lavoro.Siamo stati veramente bene,una piacevole sorpresa! Complimenti spero a presto 🥰

Come scrive Coelho, le cose più semplici sono le più straordinarie. Senza alcun tipo di aspettativa, siamo stati a cena in questo piccolo localino caratteristico, in pieno centro storico a Monterotondo. L'accoglienza cordiale e sorridente e l'ambiente semplice ci hanno riportato indietro nel tempo. I piatti, tipici della tradizione, devo riconoscere essere stati cucinati in maniera semplice e sapiente. Qui si bada alla sostanza. Coratella molto delicata, e Gricia da incorniciare. La qualità della materia prima si sente, la carne era ottima! Qui è come stare a 🏠 della nonna, le porzioni sono le stesse. Complimenti, continuate così.

05/04/2024: Great Roman restaurant! Ensure to make reservations ahead of time. Menu was diverse and we enjoyed every dish thoroughly!
03/04/2024: We really wanted to like this place as we had been planning to eat here even before flying to Rome. Must be said that the person who greeted us up front made us feel welcome and we appreciate the hospitality. The basement, while brightly lit and spacious, had really poor acoustics, but this is forgivable. Food : we had a great start with the fried vegetables and were expecting a great meal ahead. However this was not the case. Our veal and braised beef were way below expectations, both under seasoned and tough. Sides were presented poorly and potatoes were tough and overcooked while artichokes were extremely bitter. Opted to not have dessert after our meal because it was really just disappointing. We’re hoping this was just an off night and maybe when we return to Rome we’ll give this place another chance, but for now, it’s more misses than hits.
