06/12/2025: The atmosphere is very welcoming and clean, even the bathrooms are spotless. The service is quite calm and fast. The food is top-notch and very well cooked. Suitable for children. The staff is very welcoming and kind, I'd even give it a few more stars.

06/12/2025: We went to this place at 9:45 PM with my wife and our daughter. Even though there were two empty tables, they told us that those tables were reserved and did not accept us. Around 11:00 PM the same night, we passed by again and saw that the same tables were still empty. It is an unreliable establishment.

29/11/2025: This little taverna is full of character. We had a delicious meal with very good wine. It’s not a place for for brisk service, and they did bring us a cacio e pepe pasta instead of the carbonara we ordered but it is relaxed, friendly and comfortable.

13/09/2025: Devastating.... And thank goodness we had booked!!! Being stuck at a table for a 30-minute meal and burning half a day to dedicate to the classic day trip for about 3 and a half hours that we would have otherwise dedicated to the wonders of the surrounding area (those that are worthy of attention), I could start with the sparkling white wine to pair with fish-based dishes that I would not have appreciated even with a dessert (perhaps recycled sparkling wine????) and then continue with the small portions, or the temperatures at which they were served (some at room temperature) therefore incomprehensible waiting times even if the food was otherwise normal, after a forced rush to the service around 4:00 pm we finished the "LUNCH" at 4:30 pm and therefore from about 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm we practically had to give up the afternoon we had planned for a very simple (elsewhere) first and second course..... I will only add that I give one star otherwise they won't publish the review but I think a zero is more appropriate

07/09/2025: What a surprise to find this little place in the middle of the Viterbo countryside! On Via Tiberina, a simple sign reads "Bar Pizzeria Ristorante." The atmosphere is simple and tidy, suggesting cleanliness, as is the bathroom (there's even a baby changing table). It fully confirms this 🌟⭐🌟 The staff is discreet, fast, and professional; they even made a change to the menu to suit my tastes (I don't like shellfish). We had three fish main courses, salad, fries, coffee, and dessert— everything was excellent and truly filling! Thank you so much, we'll be back soon to try your pizzas!

30/11/2025: Everything was delicious, classic dishes paired with unique dishes (I had an excellent pasta with blueberries, porcini mushrooms, yellow cherry tomatoes, and crispy bacon 😎) The staff is extremely kind and courteous, and welcomes customers with a smile.

20/11/2025: Dinner with friends, well-kept and clean place, excellent service, we had appetizers, very tasty, 2 different first courses, excellent and a fillet with green pepper, very tender and delicious, it makes us come back.

15/11/2025: Reading these reviews, I asked myself 🤔🤔🤔 but have I been to the same place? We went on Friday with an all-you-can-eat menu for 29 euros and a 39 menu with the addition of tartare. There were 4 of us, and two of us didn't want the menu with tartare because they didn't like raw meat. They told us that all 4 of us could take the 29 menu or all 4 of us could take the 39 menu, and that's not good in my opinion. Why should I take something I don't like? And then the menu didn't change, only the addition of raw meat. Even though we accepted the 39 menu, the tartare was truly miserable. Then they forgot to bring bruschetta with Colonnata lard. Not to mention the miserable appetizers: a slice of salami each, a slice of mortadella divided between 4, and ham, etc. They forgot to mention that the price didn't include drinks, so from 39 euros per person we ended up at £51.50 per person. I read that they offered coffee, but we paid for it. We didn't see any first courses. What can I say? For a first time, it was very disappointing!!! The only positive thing was the kindness of the waiters, compliments to them. I hate writing this review, but it's right that people know, even if it's an odyssey to get there.

The location is welcoming and, importantly, even though the restaurant was packed, it was pleasantly quiet, making for a relaxing dinner. 05/10/2025: We found this place randomly after repeatedly getting disappointed by every Tiktok and Reddit recommendations of where to eat in Rome and throughout our Europe trip. It was also during protest day so we weren't sure if they would open. I would definitely recommend showing up when they open (7.30 PM for dinner). There was no sign in front so go by address. We were let in by one of the family members that ran the restaurant. Most of the seats was reserved by locals coming in later. Let me tell you I am writing this review BEYOND MAD. MAD I didn't have the stomach to eat everything on the menu. MAD now I have to justify coming back to Rome just to eat here again. And ABSOLUTELY MAD didn't eat here all three days of our trip instead. Yeah I'd definitely eat here for both lunch and dinner! Yeah I'd cancel a Michelin reservation to eat here instead! If I only had 2 hours in Rome I'd spent 1 hours eating here, 30 minutes digesting, and then another 30 minutes eating here again! I really hope this place, the lovely people that runs it, and the local community that sustains it, continues to care for this beautiful piece of Rome. I selfishly hope this restaurant never have the misfortune of becoming popular on Tiktok or other socials and turn into another soulless tourist trap. I hope it maintains it local charm, excellent food, and sense of community for several generations to come.

15/07/2025: The best food is usually at places that don't brag. We walked by this place 4 or 5 times before we knew it existed. Only two English menus is a sign of authenticity.

30/10/2025: We were looking for a restaurant in Tolfa that opened for lunch, and looking at the reviews, we were inspired. Everything was truly excellent: a very nice location that makes you feel at home, excellent product quality, great kindness. We had an excellent mixed appetizer, two very generous first courses, and dessert... €45... Excellent value for money... Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Congratulations to Gionatan and the team. Sunday lunch with the family felt like being at grandma's house. Fantastic, homemade cuisine, seasonal products with authentic flavors. Gionatan is the perfect combination of friendliness and hospitality, with the ever-present "rinforzino" (small reinforcement). Fettuccine, pappardelle, ravioli, porcini mushrooms, lamb, and arrosticini, all delicious. Small but welcoming atmosphere with a small outdoor area. Reservations are required for Sunday lunch. Highly recommended for those who appreciate home cooking.

The atmosphere is welcoming, with the option of indoor or outdoor seating, perfect for any season. The house specialties are definitely worth trying, especially the beer, which is truly excellent. A children's menu is also available, convenient for families. The staff has always been kind, attentive, and helpful, helping make the experience even more enjoyable.
