19/11/2025: Always the best in amatriciana and everything else. Incredible appetizers, super filling and all delicious. If you've never tried them, you absolutely have to try them. The fried focaccia, the freshly warm ricotta. The coratella, the cured meats and pecorino cheeses. Truly a must-try if you're passing through Amatrice!

05/11/2025: A restaurant where you can savor the authentic flavors of Amatrice. Spacious indoor and outdoor spaces. Suitable for large groups. Good value for money. The fact that I've always found it popular and the reviews I've read lead me to believe I'm not the only one who thinks it's a great place to stop for a meal.

02/12/2025: The sandwiches were good, but the crumble... a group of 8 colleagues. We made reservations. The girl and boy who served us were very kind and quick. I liked the place. I had never been there before. The sandwich was very good—next time I want to try the Treviggiano—and we shared the Easy fries and the Cacio e Pepe (delicious). But the thing that made me dream was the crumble made with Gentilini and big, crunchy pieces of dark chocolate. TOP!

12/11/2025: I returned for lunch, rated 4 to 5 stars. I'd say it's a truly excellent seafood restaurant for the food, table service, and location. I went there after some time, after reading the various reviews that had been added in the meantime. Well,... Dear Sirs, if the owner isn't always smiling, it's because she runs a restaurant with her husband (from what I understand), but despite everything, she's very courteous and doesn't shy away from playing with the children in the restaurant. As for the service, knowing that there's always experience to be gained, I've eaten out a lot, and THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE DROPPED MY FORK AND THE WAITRESS REPLACED IT AFTER 3 SECONDS! I knew the fish was fresh because a delivery driver I know who recommended it told me he sees the fish truck unloaded every morning. Finally, everything was good. I've attached some photos showing you samples of the first courses on the menu. They're 2/3 of a whole first course...so much. The appetizer was very good and the grill was superb. Finally, I took a picture of the house wine. Look at the photo, it's not the usual anonymous jug. The waitresses were very friendly, and the housewives were very happy. I'll definitely be back soon; tipping was a must. P.S.: I don't know the owner personally, and I swear I don't. I hope this was helpful. Enjoy your meal, everyone, and good luck to the owners and waitresses at this place. I had a really good birthday dinner. I had three menus for €35, which included appetizers, two first courses (they were samples, but generous), a grilled dish with a hint of fried fish in a stainless steel bowl, and a good-quality sweet white wine and water. The management is family-run and competent. The restaurant only serves fish and always has fresh fish. I recommend it.

08/11/2025: I read a lot of reviews before deciding to go, and since they were almost all positive, I decided to book. The place is nice, well-kept, and welcoming. The food is good—average, but good. As for the service, let's just say we were not impressed. I don't want to comment or go into specifics, because I hope the service is usually better than what we experienced.

10/12/2025: Testaccio Market in December 2025 was a disappointment. Over 70 % of the shops were closed. Maybe this bustling in the Roman summer?? But we did eat lunch at Mord &Vai. Highly reccomend.

17/10/2025: The restaurant is located in the historic center, where you can experience a classic "slow life" atmosphere. The staff is polite and friendly, and as for the food, the pinsa with its classic Roman flavors is truly exquisite. For years now, it's been my go-to stop on every trip; I highly recommend it!

17/10/2025: On our way to Pisa, at the suggestion of friends, we decided to stop in Orte, where they recommended we try their magnificent pinsa. We sat outside, surrounded by a family-friendly and authentic atmosphere. We ordered three pinsa to share among four: one Gricia, one Bufalina, and one half Carbonara and half Provola and Pancetta. Flavorful, to say the least!! The pinsa dough was crispy and flaky, the sauce was creamy and rich. Highly recommended! We'll be back whenever we're in the area.

29/10/2025: So gentlemen, 20 euros for a warm bottle of white wine and... they don't have ice... they didn't have it in the other place either. .and what about the focaccia that arrived after an hour and the broccoli full of garlic... I'm speechless, never again

17/10/2025: Beautiful new and spacious restaurant located 100 meters from the old one, towards Posta Fibreno. The owner, Valerio, and his staff are always kind and welcoming. I've had both meat and pizza on several occasions: everything was excellent. Highly recommended, both for an intimate dinner and for groups.

05/10/2025: We found this place randomly after repeatedly getting disappointed by every Tiktok and Reddit recommendations of where to eat in Rome and throughout our Europe trip. It was also during protest day so we weren't sure if they would open. I would definitely recommend showing up when they open (7.30 PM for dinner). There was no sign in front so go by address. We were let in by one of the family members that ran the restaurant. Most of the seats was reserved by locals coming in later. Let me tell you I am writing this review BEYOND MAD. MAD I didn't have the stomach to eat everything on the menu. MAD now I have to justify coming back to Rome just to eat here again. And ABSOLUTELY MAD didn't eat here all three days of our trip instead. Yeah I'd definitely eat here for both lunch and dinner! Yeah I'd cancel a Michelin reservation to eat here instead! If I only had 2 hours in Rome I'd spent 1 hours eating here, 30 minutes digesting, and then another 30 minutes eating here again! I really hope this place, the lovely people that runs it, and the local community that sustains it, continues to care for this beautiful piece of Rome. I selfishly hope this restaurant never have the misfortune of becoming popular on Tiktok or other socials and turn into another soulless tourist trap. I hope it maintains it local charm, excellent food, and sense of community for several generations to come.

15/07/2025: The best food is usually at places that don't brag. We walked by this place 4 or 5 times before we knew it existed. Only two English menus is a sign of authenticity.

04/10/2025: Close to the highway exit, the exterior is extremely well-maintained and an excellent location for events. Ample and nearby parking is available. However, the hotel isn't as stunning as the photos; we didn't find it spotlessly clean, and room 116 definitely needs updating. The mosquito net is broken, the window doesn't close properly, the walls are chipped in several places, and the bathroom smells slightly like sewer. These are all things that could be improved. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but the products were excellent. We had dinner at the restaurant with a set menu for €25 per person, and it was enjoyable. The owners were helpful, which is a real shame because it has great potential, but it's a two-star hotel, no more.

18/11/2025: This is not your touristy stop, unless, like me, you love baccalà. Here, it's salty juice stockfish, deep fried in a crumbly crispy exterior, and, if you do it well, eaten with the ever-so-Roman puntarelle. It's a hole in the wall place; barely room for a handful of people to stand, although there are maybe two small tables, if you can nab one. Otherwise, eat the well-oiled deliciousness while standing outside, watching kids kick a soccer ball around, as tourists file across the piazza toward the narrowest church in Rome (or maybe anywhere), Santa Barbara. All in all, a delightful experience -- but you really have to love baccalà. I most certainly do, so I keep coming back!

18/11/2025: Tried it again after about 2 years, I have to say that honestly I'm not crazy about it, for the cost €6 and the coat of arms I definitely expect something more. In my humble opinion, the thing that I find a bit unbalanced is the balance between the fillet, which is not bad, and the batter, which in my opinion is too thick, you can taste too much of the batter and too little of the fillet.

24/10/2025: I hadn't been to Sandy's in many years, maybe 15, and I found the place completely renovated, expanded, and with a modernized menu. Clean, and the staff were friendly and friendly. The appetizer was simple, but plentiful and good. I only tried the pizza, which was well-seasoned and light. The bill was reasonable. I would go back, even for takeout; it was a pleasant rediscovery. 16/12/2025: A place with a very nice atmosphere and a fairly large variety on the menu. In addition to our drinks, we also tried their cheese platter, a dish that I highly recommend as everything was excellent and more than enough to accompany your drink!
