16/03/2026: I didn't eat badly, but I think that for half a portion of mussel sauté, 350g of swordfish (written on the bill), half a portion of side dish (an artichoke), a crème caramel and a bottle of water... I write half a portion, because their quantities are half of normal portions, €50,000 seems too much to me.

30/05/2026: The place looks great; the entrance stands out from the surrounding area, and a beautiful bush surrounds the entrance. The interior has a lot of personality and is welcoming and quiet. 5 stars for the place. The staff is very professional and kind, never too intrusive. 5 stars for the service. The food is top-quality, starting with the appetizer. The house appetizer is spectacular; the cheese with honey is excellent. The beef carpaccio is very flavorful, which is unusual compared to what you find in other similar places. The capocollo and salami are top-notch, congratulations. The highlight of the appetizer is the focaccia made by them with pork stew, a combination of flavors that make your palate dance. The bruschetta with ragù was also very good. The cabbage was good, but there was too much vinegar, in fact, it was the only dish we left. The potato millefeuille with rose beef is exceptional, a unique delicacy; I would have eaten only that, it was so good. Moving on to the first courses, we ordered a well-made carbonara, nothing spectacular but excellent nonetheless. The gricia was different from the "traditional" one, with the addition of rosemary. The choice of egg pasta for the gricia was highly appreciated, making the dish very light and delicate, perhaps a little dry for my taste. There wasn't much cream cheese, probably absorbed by the egg pasta, but despite that, it was truly good and delicate. The fillet steak was exquisite, prime meat and cooked perfectly as requested, served with regular salt and poplar-smoked salt, which was a real surprise. It had the smell of a felled and freshly burned tree, truly amazing. The baked potatoes were exceptional; the addition of a spice that I imagine is paprika makes them truly stand out from the classic ones you find around. Finally, the desserts: the chocolate cream puffs, unfortunately, lacked chocolate. There were pieces of chocolate in the cream, and they were served on a chocolate base, but the chocolate flavor wasn't that strong. They were still good, though. I recommend dipping the cream puffs in the chocolate cream on the bottom of the plate to make them perfect. The ricotta, almond, chocolate, and black cherry cake was delicious, a great end to a meal. Perhaps the black cherry overpowered the rest of the flavors. I recommend slightly reducing the amount inside. For the 4-star food, everything was very good and of excellent quality. Your specialties are sublime. A few flaws here and there lowered the rating, but absolutely everything was excellent. Highly recommended for those passing through the area and also for those who live in Rome and the surrounding area. I recommend a trip there for the breathtaking view and the excellent food at Osteria da Charlie.

24/05/2026: Location: clean, welcoming, elegant, comfortable. Staff: kind and friendly Food: balanced and delicious gourmet dishes. Recommended dishes during this period: truly special amberjack tartare, artichoke with burrata and red shrimp, cacio e pepe ravioli with red shrimp bisque. Highly recommended restaurant in the heart of Palestrina!

25/04/2026: The location is a bit out of the way, but precisely for this reason, it's quiet and pleasant, far from the chaos. The atmosphere is simple and authentic. The €12 appetizer buffet deserves special mention: varied and well-prepared, a great start and already satisfying. The service was truly fantastic: attentive, friendly, and always present without being intrusive. The menu is simple but well-constructed, with dishes that showcase timeless flavors and tradition. The bill is absolutely fair, in line (if not lower) with the quality offered. Overall, a genuine place where you eat well and feel even better. Recommended.

22/04/2026: What a delightful surprise this restaurant was on our holiday route, perfect for a family lunch! A very friendly welcome, delicious pizzas, and an amazing antipasti buffet. Unpretentious, with hunting trophies on the wall, and lots of families. Excellent value for money.

02/06/2026: Very bad service. They forgot about our order and then blamed us for not ordering earlier when we ordered within 5 minutes of sitting down. We ordered right before a huge party came in and we got our singular pizza after them. It was a mediocre pizza with tomato sauce and maybe 8 olives on it and it took 45 minutes. I asked for the bill because I wanted to get out of there and that took an extra 10 minutes even though they knew we were already upset. They asked how everything was, I said “horrible” and then they made a snide comment about a service fee! There was no service! I get that mistakes happen but they did not take any accountability whatsoever.

02/06/2026: Excellent Neapolitan pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven and hearty, quality pasta dishes at a reasonable price in the city center. Friendly staff and fast service. Clean place. Honestly, we stopped by chance, but we were very pleased. I would recommend it.

13/05/2026: My husband and I went here last night after finding a discount coupon for one of the takeout boxes we'd ordered about ten days ago (a great idea, especially since we've been eating takeout here for years and had never actually eaten there). The pizza was delicious (the margherita reminded me of Saturday nights with my family), and the sausage and truffle pizza was absolutely delicious. Not to mention the fried food. A delicious pizzeria, and the people who work there are friendly and attentive. These days, when we're all numbers, that's not a given. Really good!
