The service was top-notch; the waiter was super polite, kind, and helpful despite an unexpected event. The chef was also very helpful. A very nice place. 08/05/2026: The food was DELICIOUS! Authentic Italian cuisine, not the tourist trap. The service, however, was terrible. We were served by an Asian guy, incredibly arrogant and acting like he was doing us a favor. There were two other people who seemed quite nice, but the waiter who served me practically threw food at us. I even felt he was racist.

07/05/2026: We got lucky and overheard someone talking about how good it is as we were walking by. We decided to try it and boy oh boy were they right!! Pasta was delicious, especially the pasta al Sugo di carne. The Tiramisu was absolutely fantastic 😍. We are going back tomorrow! Loved the vibe of the mix of locals and visitors.

28/04/2026: Hmmm, it can improve and return to how it once was. As for the service, I was about to give it one star because one of the waiters was a bit sloppy, not wearing a uniform, and it seemed like he didn't enjoy serving. I've also worked in the restaurant business and was always smiling, even in the worst of times. The decor needs improving. The food is okay, but a little more character in the dishes wouldn't hurt. I'm confident it can improve. I still recommend going for the mussels and other delicacies.

12/04/2026: The staff were friendly, but the prices were too high. They brought us a focaccia and ham, which we hadn't ordered, and in all reputable restaurants, when they do this, it's a freebie: they charge €10 without our knowledge. If it's not free, you have to tell the customer, who will decide whether or not to order it, and €10 is truly outrageous.

10/05/2026: Let me start by saying that my husband and I have always eaten at this restaurant, and our experience has always been very positive. On Sunday, we returned with our one-and-a-half-year-old daughter and felt out of place. The food was always good, and the waiters were helpful. However, when my daughter started getting sleepy and complaining, I was asked to sit in a "private room" because "UNFORTUNATELY THEY'RE CHILDREN," and we were most likely a nuisance. I don't think I've ever felt embarrassed by her crying since my daughter was born. I felt VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I think it will be a few years before we return to this restaurant, perhaps when our daughter is no longer a bothersome toddler. Otherwise, the restaurant remains excellent; however, simply providing high chairs doesn't make it a family-friendly restaurant.

19/01/2026: Update after 3 years: A confirmation of quality and courtesy I'm pleased to review "La Baita" again, three years after my first visit, and I can only confirm my positive opinion; in fact, I've improved the overall rating! We returned yesterday to celebrate our son's second birthday, and the experience was wonderful. The place remains truly unique, an oasis immersed in nature where children (and adults) can be right next to the animals. What has changed and what remains unchanged: Food: The quality is always top-notch. I can confirm that the meat is excellent, as are the pasta dishes. The food is truly delicious. Service: Although three years ago we had some delays with the delivery times, this time everything was perfect. I want to emphasize the extreme courtesy, kindness, and care the staff showed us, making our son's birthday even more special. Atmosphere: The location remains magical for those seeking relaxation and contact with nature. Compared to my previous visit, the small logistical issues of the past (wait times and noise) were largely overcome by the attention they gave us yesterday. A favorite place in Saracinesco, where we always return with pleasure. Highly recommended!

30/04/2026: I discovered this very welcoming place thanks to the invitation of my local friends, with its flowers and background music, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day at work or simply relax over a delicious dinner. I try to go often because I know I can find delicious lactose- and gluten-free products. I also feel welcomed and understood every time I make a request (obviously due to intolerances), unlike the often uncomfortable experience of other places where I ask for variations on food that, unfortunately, aren't good for me. Here, I can relax and enjoy pizza, meat, fried foods, or desserts with my friends without any discomfort and without sacrificing flavor and culinary delights. All the staff are truly welcoming and friendly. You're a wonderful discovery.
