12/06/2025: We were looking to get authentic Italian food after visiting the Vatican. We passed Restorante deli Musei on our way to another place and decided it looked too good to pass up. The atmosphere was amazing! The service was great… and oh my the food was sooo good! This will definitely be on my list of must visit restaurants when I return!!

18/05/2025: Trattoria da Bacco è una vera e propria oasi per gli amanti della cucina romana verace. Il locale accoglie con un’atmosfera calda e familiare, tra tavoli rustici, poesie scritte alle pareti e il profumo irresistibile che arriva dalla cucina. Il menù è un tributo alla tradizione: buona la Gricia, con la pasta ruvida che trattiene ogni sfumatura del pecorino. L’ Amatriciana ha un perfetto equilibrio tra pomodoro e guanciale croccante, mentre la Carbonara è semplicemente da manuale, la migliore che abbia mai mangiato. Tra i secondi, imperdibile la trippa alla romana, semplicemente sublime, e l’abbacchio al forno, che fa concorrenza al piatto principale. Il tutto accompagnato da un’ottima selezione di vini laziali, con prezzi onesti e un servizio sempre professionale e sorridente. In definitiva, Trattoria da Bacco è una tappa obbligata per chi vuole riscoprire i sapori autentici della Roma di una volta, senza fronzoli ma con tanta anima, e si trova nei pressi del Santuario della Mentorella. Perfetta per una cena tra amici o un pranzo domenicale in famiglia.

20/05/2025: They made us pay €1.30 more. On the paper menus at the table, the first courses with water cost €9.50 and the normal classic hamburger costs €9.50. Instead, they applied the online rates without warning us of the increase. Being in a hurry, we left without checking the bill to the last cent, trusting them. You, on the other hand, don't trust them!

13/05/2025: Among fast food places, this is my favorite for the atmosphere, variety of food and hospitality. Their grilled chickens and gratinated vegetables are truly excellent. You can dine with taste and digest well. The service is always accompanied by a smile and kindness.

10/06/2025: Comida de verdad. Restaurantes familiares. Ingredientes de primera calidad y habilidades de cocina. Comida para el alma. Agregamos una persona de última hora a 3 personas. Era un almuerzo de domingo. Nos dijeron que no había silla extra inicialmente, pero el hijo Mattoe nos consiguió la silla extra de al lado.

09/06/2025: Celiac for 2 years, in addition to the trusted pizzeria in my area (prv Caserta) this is the second pizza of many tasted that I managed to eat with gusto. If I were from Rome they would have become my trusted pizzeria!!

05/06/2025: Bar, tobacconist, Lottomatica point, snack bar, pinseria, restaurant, pastry shop. There is absolutely nothing missing in this place, from the bar, where they have delicious croissants and biscuits made by them, to the very well-stocked tobacconist, official Kiwi dealer, to the snack bar during the day, in the evening it has a very large upper floor where you can have an aperitif or dinner, from platters to appetizers, Roman first courses and not so good ones, and excellent meat, or pinseria, really good. You can also sit at the tables outside, or on the outside veranda, try it and believe it! The large parking lot, and the large space nearby, always guarantee a place, without having to bother Friendly and always available staff.

01/06/2025: Bassano in Teverina is worth a stop for a guided tour of the clock tower (to be booked) and then the highly recommended restaurant in town, Osteria del Belvedere. Here too I recommend you book. The place, carved into the rock, is truly evocative especially if, like us, you dine on the mezzanine. Typical cuisine, refined and plentiful. Courteous and fast service. The prices are not exactly cheap but given the portions you can spend 90 euros for two on enough food (1 starter, 2 first courses and 1 dessert). The only complaint was that the tagliatelle was a little too greasy.
