21/09/2025: Unfortunately, the evening didn't go as we'd hoped. We couldn't try the restaurant's specialty pinsa because there was no tuna! The dishes arrived extremely slowly and were even mislaid. The kids ate last, and one of them ate his fried food after an hour and a half! How can you still take an order by heart and expect it not to cause a complete mess? An experience to forget.

This perhaps gives you a good idea of ​​the experience we had during our wedding, starting from the day we decided to crown our dream within the walls of a 10th-century castle, through the rehearsals of the menu, and finally arriving at the fateful day, July 5, 2025. Francesco, along with the entire staff, took care of every detail, exceeding all (very high) expectations, from the welcome buffet to the aperitif in the hanging garden. The dinner was sublime, a mix of sophisticated but above all successful dishes and flavors. Francesco dictated the evening's pace magnificently, allowing us to savor every moment thanks to a complicity that made us feel at home. Finally, spending our wedding night in a room in the tower was the icing on the cake. Thank you.

23/10/2025: I went to this establishment for a ceremony. The atmosphere was clean and well-maintained, the seafood dishes were fresh and expertly presented, and the service was discreet. Overall, a positive experience.

28/09/2025: Dinner with friends. We were invited to dinner at this restaurant. The entrance is large, with parking available inside. The dining room was large and welcoming. We had pizza and meat, but what really caught my attention was the spectacular way the cacio e pepe was served. Everything was delicious. The staff who served us were quick, kind, and polite. I enjoyed it and will definitely return.

14/09/2025: On September 14, 2025, I had lunch with my family at Ristorante La Sabina Romana. I must say it's an excellent restaurant in the heart of Sabina. The seafood (a lavish appetizer, seafood risotto, and fried fish) was delicious, delicate, and elegantly and luxuriously plated, using high-quality ingredients. In addition to the seafood, we also sampled the desserts, which were also exquisite and elegantly plated. Beyond the delicious food, the restaurant's atmosphere deserves special mention: welcoming, clean, and relaxing. Above all, the staff are very attentive and professional, bringing the dishes to the table and advising customers on the menu. Last but not least, I want to highlight the skill of the owner, Andrea, a longtime friend and a special person. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The squid frittata (deep-fried food) I had for my main course was delicious. It was a shame they didn't have the tart mentioned in the reviews. I highly recommend it.

Here, you go to Andrea; he's the restaurant; he comes to your table, lovingly and kindly explains the dishes, and then shuts himself away in the kitchen and freshly prepares traditional delicacies with quality ingredients and a lot of passion. 15/11/2025: Reading these reviews, I asked myself 🤔🤔🤔 but have I been to the same place? We went on Friday with an all-you-can-eat menu for 29 euros and a 39 menu with the addition of tartare. There were 4 of us, and two of us didn't want the menu with tartare because they didn't like raw meat. They told us that all 4 of us could take the 29 menu or all 4 of us could take the 39 menu, and that's not good in my opinion. Why should I take something I don't like? And then the menu didn't change, only the addition of raw meat. Even though we accepted the 39 menu, the tartare was truly miserable. Then they forgot to bring bruschetta with Colonnata lard. Not to mention the miserable appetizers: a slice of salami each, a slice of mortadella divided between 4, and ham, etc. They forgot to mention that the price didn't include drinks, so from 39 euros per person we ended up at £51.50 per person. I read that they offered coffee, but we paid for it. We didn't see any first courses. What can I say? For a first time, it was very disappointing!!! The only positive thing was the kindness of the waiters, compliments to them. I hate writing this review, but it's right that people know, even if it's an odyssey to get there.

29/08/2025: Yesterday morning, at this wonderful pastry shop, where the staff is friendly and always puts you in a good mood, I ate a fantastic tartlet with cream and fruit. It was so good I could have eaten six more, but it was mid-morning and I'd already had breakfast at home. I was having lunch soon, so I couldn't overdo it. Excellent artisanal production, professionalism, and stellar taste! 😊

I called a few days ago to book a table for a birthday party, but unfortunately it wasn't possible because they introduced two new rules: if you're part of a large table and you book for 7:30 PM, you have to leave at 9:15 PM, and the menu includes a meal prep. Otherwise, you arrive at 9:30 PM and can easily stay as long as you like... Let's just say I don't mind eating at 9:30 PM. Question: What if I go to a pizzeria with older guests and they eat a little earlier? Do I have to rush to eat and leave by 9:15 PM? And if the restaurant has a kitchen problem and dinner goes on past the agreed-upon time, can we eat the cake at the bus stop? I must be stupid, but I don't understand this method.

As soon as you arrive, you immediately realize how tiny the place is: just a few square meters, everything compact, barely enough room to move around. And yet, that's precisely the beauty of it. Despite its small size, it almost seems to burst with life, aromas, and colors. The most striking thing is the impressive array of flavors available. There are so many, from the great classics to the rarest specialties, even those unique flavors you can't find anywhere else. Each tub is carefully crafted, full, fresh, and inviting. It's a gelateria that's small in size but huge in its selection: truly a place where if you don't fall in love with at least one flavor... it's because you haven't tried them all. The place is always packed, a sign that its quality has been recognized for years and continues to attract customers of all kinds: families, tourists, locals, and those who just happen to be passing by. Between granitas, creams, sorbets, house specialties, and seasonal variations, it's impossible not to find something that will make you want to return. The only slightly less positive note concerns the staff. They aren't exactly super friendly, and especially during busy periods, they tend to be a bit cold or hasty. Nothing dramatic, of course, but in such a famous and popular place, a little extra friendliness wouldn't hurt. In any case, the gelato remains the real star: creamy, rich, made with ingredients you can really taste. If you love artisanal gelato, this place is almost a must-see.
