23/10/2025: S-P-E-C-T-A-C-U-L-E!!! This perhaps gives you a good idea of ​​the experience we had during our wedding, starting from the day we decided to crown our dream within the walls of a 10th-century castle, through the rehearsals of the menu, and finally arriving at the fateful day, July 5, 2025. Francesco, along with the entire staff, took care of every detail, exceeding all (very high) expectations, from the welcome buffet to the aperitif in the hanging garden. The dinner was sublime, a mix of sophisticated but above all successful dishes and flavors. Francesco dictated the evening's pace magnificently, allowing us to savor every moment thanks to a complicity that made us feel at home. Finally, spending our wedding night in a room in the tower was the icing on the cake. Thank you.

03/11/2025: A good choice for a weekend family meal; the food is high-quality. We chose both meat and fish. I preferred the seasonal pasta dishes; the fried food was average. The grill is visible, and the meat is delicious. The large park surrounding the oasis allows children to play safely. I recommend visiting the sanctuary within the area, rich in history and art.

03/11/2025: Everything seemed beautiful... the place was great... but they didn't bring us bread... (they brought it to everyone) I asked the cashier why, and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, she said, "Hey... you should have asked for it!" But I say, a little courtesy would be appreciated!!! P.S. Our stomachs weren't very good after lunch...!

05/11/2025: Have you tried Fontana's gnocchi? They melt in your mouth, even though my husband's portion was a bit small... But we're old, and too much food is bad for you. The chestnut and apple stew is excellent, but this portion is also very small. A tip: Don't mock non-local customers. They might not come back, especially after seeing the unequal treatment compared to their fellow citizens' portions, which are at least double the size. Our money isn't worth half as much.

24/10/2025: The restaurant is located in the historic center, just steps from the Castle. The family-run business is nothing short of fantastic. Excellent food with tasty dishes, fast service, and very kind owners. Reservations are recommended on weekends. Prices are reasonable.

25/09/2025: Got the chocolate, white chocolate and gianduja. The white chocolate and gianduja were beyond terrible. They tasted like not real gelato or ice cream, and like it was terrible icing that's cooled down. This should be illegal in Italy to be sold as gelato (or even ice cream). The chocolate flavor was more watery and icing tasting than other places gelato. The chocolate was the only flavor I tried ahead of time as they only allow 1 sample even though I was buying a large with multiple flavors. Do not recommend. Will not be coming back. And yes, I've had a ton of gelato all over Italy and the world. Owner response here matches his attitude at the store.

19/10/2025: At the Polenta Belvedere restaurant, you'll find the typical atmosphere of the Castelli Romani of 60 years ago, along with excellent, authentic dishes. We expected at least normal service; we don't mind waiting because that's usually a sign that the dishes are freshly made, nothing pre-cooked. Unfortunately, chaos and disorganization reign supreme, a real shame because this could be a rarity.

10/10/2025: Worth every penny. Araosing, viberating food which make the senses awaking and celebrating the beuty of life through food. Very nice and proffesional crew. Want to experience the most of Rome cousine? Go there.

19/10/2025: We went to buy a drink, to be precise a regular Coke, we paid with a 20 euro note and then the bartender gave us 15 euros in change WITHOUT A RECEIPT (in the meantime the lady who had given us the money for her drink went to the bathroom). Shocked by the price, we asked for the receipt and she replied that she didn't give it to us because we had to go to the bathroom, when in reality no one had to go to the bathroom, only the one who actually bought the drink. The bartender started saying that if we complained about the price we could give her the Coke back and leave (and while she was saying all this she still hadn't given us the receipt). We insisted with the receipt and she, very pissed off, gave it back even saying something in her language (most likely an insult or a curse word about us). As a result, we left the bar/restaurant. This isn't a complaint about the food or the location, but the waitress's behavior seems downright rude to me, and there was no reason in the world for her to react that way. I advise you to be careful.

11/10/2025: Incredibly beautiful and delicious. We didn't have a reservation, but that wasn't a problem. We were welcomed. The service was really good and very attentive. I would recommend it to everyone, even those just passing through. Eat here and enjoy a lovely walk by the sea.

12/10/2025: Historic place with discreet and professional staff, quick service even in case of overcrowding which denotes an excellent organization, but the price is not always adequate for what is offered, in the sense that some excellent dishes make others that are sufficient clash.

11/10/2025: I simply lived this restaurant. The decor and attention to detail. From the fresh flowers, the porcini mushroom, harvest table , linens and my favorite plates,it was simply a beautiful Roman restaurant. Our host knew what to order for us fettuccine with porcini then the most tender guancile ( pork cheek) we had ever eaten. I had a ravioli with a very light and tasty sauce. The red wine from the Aldobrandi estate paired perfectly with our meal. The desert was tiramisu and it was good. The cantucci with fennel liquor was a delicious finish. Highly recommend!!!

10/10/2025: I've eaten at this pizzeria several times and it's never disappointed. I absolutely recommend trying at least one of the paper cones they offer—they're amazing! The pizza is also excellent, Roman-style, and there's a huge selection. The atmosphere is very unique, with the walls covered in colorful, beautiful murals. Highly recommended.

27/09/2025: The parcel with appetizers and pizzas are very good. Regarding the atmosphere, this was our first time inside, and unfortunately, at peak times, it's so noisy that it's difficult to converse with anyone nearby. It's much better outside during the summer season.

21/10/2025: For a change, something other than pasta, the burgers are good. I arrived around 7 and was able to sit comfortably. The service was quick and easy. I ordered a smash burger, which was excellent. The only downside was the side: to avoid fries, I ordered chicken fingers... unfortunately, they were bad (not inedible). Next time, I'll get the traditional fries. If you're nearby and want a burger... 100% recommended.

22/09/2025: We asked to watch a football game in the bar. They gave us everything we needed: Power, Wifi and a great selection of (local) beers. Very friendly staff. And very nice place. Would absolutely recommend!

Out of all evenings we spend in Italy, this was clearly our favourite. I can highly recommend this place.
