11/11/2025: I loved the place and the food. We had dinner on the terrace because the weather was nice and everything was perfect. The best part of the meal was the lasagna and the tiramisu—a 10 out of 10!

29/10/2025: Don't be put off by the lack of Asian reviews. It's a truly memorable experience. I had the Puttanesca-style tuna tartare and the Calabrese pasta. The friendly waiters even taught me how to enjoy the pasta even more, and even brought me extra sauce. This is a place I'd love to visit again.

08/11/2025: I bought some porchetta here and was a little disappointed: it was dry and stringy (porchetta should melt in your mouth), and my husband almost lost a tooth because of a bone (normally, there shouldn't be one). Anyway, I'm giving it 3 stars because the staff is really kind.

30/10/2025: We were looking for a restaurant in Tolfa that opened for lunch, and looking at the reviews, we were inspired. Everything was truly excellent: a very nice location that makes you feel at home, excellent product quality, great kindness. We had an excellent mixed appetizer, two very generous first courses, and dessert... €45... Excellent value for money... Highly recommended.

01/11/2025: Roman calzone, with egg, ham, and exceptional mozzarella, is not something you find so easily. Fried foods are very good, especially the supplì, thin-crust pizza with excellent toppings. Recommended.

30/10/2025: Chef Evo is fantastico! The pizze are great as is all the food on the menu! We ate there several nights on our vacation to Rome where we stayed in the Quarto Miglio where this restaurant is located. A special shout out to our server Dache who took care or us especially with ice!!

22/11/2025: Food was mediocre and not worth what I paid. I had the gnocchi with zucchini and shrimp which didn't have much flavour and the zucchini was very overcooked. I also had the steamed bacala. Tons of oregano over it which overpowered the dish. I would not recommend the food. The pizzas looked good - so just stick to those perhaps.

03/11/2025: We spent a weekend in Cassino with two couples. Locals recommended this place, and we went there on a Sunday for lunch. The location is perfect for families with children like ours, as it overlooks a large public park full of playground equipment. The restaurant is a chalet-like space, clean and well-maintained, perfectly in keeping with its location. The staff was very courteous and helpful right from the start, accommodating our needs. We ordered first courses and side dishes, and were completely satisfied. The portions were generous, the prices were excellent, and the quality was surprising. I particularly enjoyed the carbonara and cacio e pepe, seemingly simple dishes that are actually quite difficult to make. Congratulations and thanks to Vecchia Pesa! We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

19/11/2025: A historic pizzeria opened in 1989, serving authentic cuisine from days gone by... The supplì made by grandma are truly exceptional... the pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven is delicious, and most importantly, it's quick to digest, a testament to the quality of the ingredients. Highly recommended.

31/05/2025: I was very disappointed by the lack of flexibility we had an appointment to decide the menu for a ceremony we called to be fair because we were stuck in traffic, that we would arrive instead of 6.00 pm with 20 minutes of delay apologizing and asking if we could still go they said that at 6.30 pm the staff eats so it was not possible. Already a week before we had called asking for an appointment on Saturday because during the week we had no possibility the same person always answered us and told us that they would call us back which did not happen on Thursday I had to call back maybe they are not interested in receiving banquets or receptions anyway very disappointed you will also eat well but as regards the management absolutely one star

This perhaps gives you a good idea of ​​the experience we had during our wedding, starting from the day we decided to crown our dream within the walls of a 10th-century castle, through the rehearsals of the menu, and finally arriving at the fateful day, July 5, 2025. Francesco, along with the entire staff, took care of every detail, exceeding all (very high) expectations, from the welcome buffet to the aperitif in the hanging garden. The dinner was sublime, a mix of sophisticated but above all successful dishes and flavors. Francesco dictated the evening's pace magnificently, allowing us to savor every moment thanks to a complicity that made us feel at home. Finally, spending our wedding night in a room in the tower was the icing on the cake. Thank you.

The squid frittata (deep-fried food) I had for my main course was delicious. It was a shame they didn't have the tart mentioned in the reviews. I highly recommend it.

Here, you go to Andrea; he's the restaurant; he comes to your table, lovingly and kindly explains the dishes, and then shuts himself away in the kitchen and freshly prepares traditional delicacies with quality ingredients and a lot of passion.
