Kind and helpful, even with our beloved 🐶 Nebbia, who was let in (and let us get water) without any problem, and with a smile for her too. 02/05/2026: Dinner for three, featuring different styles: carbonara, pizza, and cutlets. Everything was delicious, but a special mention goes to the pizza: thin, perfectly cooked, and generously topped with fresh ingredients. The service was quite quick considering it was only 8:30 PM, and very friendly. The place is spacious and clean. It was recommended to us by new Roman friends, and I must say it lived up to our expectations. We'll definitely be back.

01/05/2026: We went out for dinner last night and were totally surprised. The result was an exceptional pizza (Tonnarella) and delicious spaghetti (Cacio e Pepe). There wasn't a table available, so we were seated at the bar until one was ready. Then we got our table and our appetizers: beef tartare and a stuffed zucchini blossom. Wow! The ambiance was also five stars; we felt truly welcome. We didn't have an English menu, but our very friendly English-speaking server looked after us throughout the evening. Thank you, and we highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Italian cuisine.

03/05/2026: Ricotta and spinach ravioli (with nutmeg) are superb, even on the road. In Tornimparte, for Sunday lunch, the ravioli from "Pasta all'uovo Maria" were a hit. I'd love to make them again... with a different filling. 💯

03/03/2026: This place was known for a €120 smartbox that included three courses and a bottle of wine. I ordered a €30 bottle of prosecco instead of the white wine and was told I'd pay the difference, but I paid for the bottle in full, so the other bottle was lost. The final bill included two bread baskets worth €2.50 each, brought to me before the appetizer, paired with a local olive oil. I hadn't ordered it, thinking it was free, but I ended up paying for it. I'm not a big fan of bread. Moving on to the food, both appetizers were good, the raw sea bass and the friselle with scampi. For the first course, a scorpion fish mix, which could have used a pinch of extra salt, and the second courses were also very good. For dessert, I wasn't particularly pleased with the chocolate cake, which didn't have a warm center and was served in a small pan, making it awkward to eat. The place was very beautiful, and the staff was friendly and helpful. At the end of lunch, between the Smartbox and the price difference (including the infamous bottle and bread baskets), I ended up spending €175, which I thought was too much for what I ate (with €10 for a cruel cake with no chocolate center, which I thought was excessive). What can I say? Go, but maybe without getting a Smartbox.

03/03/2026: It's always nice to return to eat at DA Locanda Ruggeri, a go-to place when we're in Terracina. Everything is unique and excellent, from the food to the hospitality. We'll be back soon!!! A must try!

08/05/2026: My siblings and I did the cooking class with Nonna Rosia and it was absolutely remarkable! Their communication and support with helping us get a reservation through email was the most top notch I have ever experienced. They not only worked with our tight schedule but also helped us with directions and transportation options. Their emails were a direct reflection of the love and warmth we felt during this experience. When we showed up for our scheduled class, we were greeted with love and il saluto’s! Nonna Rosia and her assistant Francesca were an amazing duo! Francesca helped us with translations as we were taught about the pasta making process that Nonna learned from a young age. The experience felt like we were little kids in Nonna’s kitchen learning how to make pasta for the first time. After we were done with the class we got to enjoy our creations while sitting at the family table with Nonna, Francesca and the other people in the class. We enjoyed our dinner with wine, stories and laughter. I would do this class again in a heartbeat and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a “real” Italian experience while they are in the city of Rome! Sending love from Montana!
