04/07/2026: Was staying in the area, asked if I could bring my iPad down to watch the Canada game for fifa World Cup, not one problem ! Amazing nice small bar! Staff is very welcoming and was very friendly. Such a great vibe.

24/06/2026: The place is very nice, and even though it's not air conditioned, it's still comfortable. They don't have a wide selection of beers; perhaps their strong point is the wines. The staff is very friendly, and the scrocchia is very good. Recommended for an aperitif.

26/06/2026: Returning here after some time, the kindness and attentive service are confirmed. The Castrocielo appetizer is very good and unique, with excellent suggestions from the sommelier, especially regarding the bitters.

21/06/2026: A very welcoming and warm location with a myriad of Prosecco wines and other spirits. The staff is beyond friendly and attentive to even the smallest requests. The house-made Prosecco was truly exquisite. They were fully available to prepare some dishes for my 6-year-old son, too. The appetizers were truly tasty and high-quality. The first course was truly original: gnocchi with lemon and almond pesto. The second course was pastrami and delicious tartare sauce. All washed down with an excellent Bordeaux. Truly a wonderful discovery. I'm so glad a place and people like this exist.

14/06/2026: First of all, it's worth noting that the real difference is made by the staff, who are incredibly kind and helpful. The savory maritozzi and traditional first courses are a must-try. The tiramisu is not to be missed. A quiet place you'll be happy to return to.

15/06/2026: I am visiting Italy and I am not a foodie, however, I have eaten at this restaurant 2 days in a row.....DELICIOUS ‼️ Try the meatballs & lasagna!! No photos because I ate it all!!

08/06/2026: Was staying at a hotel nearby and tried this restaurant out.First of all I was shown to a table inches away from strangers so I asked for more privacy which I dont think they liked.Me and my daughter was served by the rudest waitress Ive ever come across.She never once spoke to us just handed our food over and left .She cleared our plates and never even asked if we wanted to have a desert.At this point I asked for the bill and she just placed it on table then walked away.She finally came back with card machine and through the receipt on the table.There was no way I was going to leave a tip for this poor service.They need to train this lady on some manners.The food was just average too.AVOID !!!

20/06/2026: What a find! 18€ for THREE big plates of food! I left feeling super happy and with an extremely full belly. The service was amazing too, I cant believe I found it on the last day of my holiday! A must visit for a cheap, flavour packed meal, great atmosphere - the true italian experience. Thank you :) !

22/07/2026: We dined at this restaurant for the first time to try their specialty, meat. We were greeted in the dining room by the very kind and knowledgeable Daniele and Aurora. I must say the experience was completely positive. We had two truly delicious 1.2 kg Florentine steaks, cooked to perfection by the expert Alex. The menu is very interesting and varied, with many dishes we'll be trying soon.

21/07/2026: I booked for my birthday. We had a great time: excellent food, attentive staff, quality wine. I highly recommend it.

24/05/2026: We went to this restaurant despite the mixed reviews we'd read, negative about the quality of the fish and the waitress's attitude, which was considered rude. In our opinion, however, we found the fish to be good, the mixed antipasti were good (the fried food was better than the octopus salad, which was otherwise fine), the mussel sauté was slightly salty (it happens), the spaghetti with clams and the scampi risotto were satisfying, and the grilled fish was also good. The portions were generous and in line with the price. So, value for money was definitely acceptable. We found the waitress's attitude to be practical rather than rude; in fact, she was sometimes even funny. It was a pleasant experience.

09/05/2026: Sensational value for money with the 4-7 standard fish dishes (approx. €30-40 including wine and water). I've been coming here for 30 years and always enjoy it when I'm in Rome. Easily reachable on foot from the train station in 20 minutes.

20/07/2026: Very good starters and pastas, we were a group of six colleagues visiting on Sunday lunch this local gem. Very good wine options! They make great dessert too, highly recommend to pay a visit

01/07/2026: I found the restaurant on the Gambero Rosso menu. I went yesterday for lunch, and it was easy to find. We entered and were greeted by a gentleman who I think is the owner. He was truly friendly, and the dining room was fantastic and truly elegant. They immediately made you feel at ease. The ingredients were exquisite. We tried the taverna appetizer, all expertly prepared and of the highest quality. I loved the fried apple, which I'd never had before and was truly delicious. I also enjoyed the ricotta, which I usually don't like, but here it was so good I ate it all. For starters, we had pappardelle with white ragù and mint (amazing) and the pasta sciue sciue. Given the generous portions, we only had dessert... crème catalana, mouth-watering... reasonably priced compared to average.
