06/12/2025: Excellent restaurant, serving basic Calabrian cuisine but not only. You can enjoy pizzeria dishes, from various appetizers to mixed fried foods to excellent white and red pizzas. The specialty is the meat, including an excellent Scottona burger. There's no shortage of generous first courses for all tastes. Wide selection of wines and beers 🍻. Desserts are also available. Friendly and attentive staff; the owners welcome you with a smile, as do all the other employees. Highly recommended. For parking, I suggest looking for it near the covered market, no more than 200 meters from the restaurant. Tiziano Moriconi

27/11/2025: Al Peperoncino is an exceptional restaurant in Rome's Ostiense-San Paolo neighborhood, perfect for those who love authentic Roman pizza and traditional dishes. The casual and welcoming atmosphere, with spacious and lively dining rooms, makes every dinner a pleasant experience, even with family or friends. The pizza is crispy, light, and tasty, with high-quality dough and fresh ingredients, while the appetizers and Roman-style fried foods are delicious and well-balanced. The service is friendly and fast, with attentive staff who make the experience comfortable despite the crowds. Prices are fair and commensurate with the quality offered, ideal for an evening without breaking the bank. We also tried the desserts and the fruit platter, both excellent and refreshing. Highly recommended for those looking for a genuine place frequented by locals.

16/11/2025: Everything was delicious, especially the wine tasting and the tapas. I'm only not giving it a 5 because the parmeggiana di pece spada had very little fish and too much juice.

31/10/2025: A great place for lunch between shifts at work. Affordable but with a wide selection of food, all the dishes are delicious, especially the gratinated fennel.

05/12/2025: Good food, but very poor service. We were a group of three, yet our plates were brought at completely different times. The staff seemed to underestimate the customers — we had already paid the bill, but the waiter still asked another waiter whether we were trying to leave without paying.

31/07/2025: I'm not reviewing the rooms because we didn't use them, but if I have to talk about the location, the hospitality, the food, I can only give 5 stars.... on a trip from Reggio Calabria to Turin we decided to break up the kilometers and stop halfway.... I didn't know this part of Italy, Sabina, and I have to say that it is truly spectacular.... definitely worth exploring further!!!

23/06/2025: I went to this agriturismo for lunch last Saturday to celebrate my daughter Giulia's graduation. A simple location in its beauty in a dominant position, among the olive trees, on the Tiber valley. An impeccable welcome and service from Federico, attentive to the needs of the customers. Excellent cuisine from Silvia with a mix of tradition and experimentation and the use of zero-mile ingredients. Large spaces for adults and especially for children. We will definitely return and I can't help but recommend everyone to spend a few hours in the company of Silvia and Federico.

23/08/2025: Whenever I go to Viterbo (I live elsewhere), I drive all the way here, and this review would be over already. Excellent and original sandwiches with homemade bread (at least it seems to be the flavor and texture), with many vegetarian options (AMEN!!!). Delicious toasted, but even better when fresh. Superlative coffee. As I sat there one Saturday morning, The Cure's playlist came on, while the owners, relaxing, prepared more sandwiches at the counter. What can I say? Relaxing.

21/08/2025: This is a sandwich bar and food shop, not a proper restaurant. But they do serve tasty and original tramezzini, light on toppings but very varied and healthy. Some are toasted, others are not, appropriately depending on the ingredients. They are accompanied by various good-quality cured meats and cold cuts, assorted bruschetta, and delicious, moderately aged pecorino cheeses. To accompany the cheeses, they also offer some delicious homemade jams. The platters are generous and plentiful (AYCE, which I also served even though I was alone), including a glass of wine or a spritz. The owners are very kind and helpful; for three generous platters, a glass of wine, a liqueur, and an extra mineral water, I spent less than 20 euros. I don't know if they'll keep this promotion going, but for now, it's true. The place is very simple and unpretentious, yet welcoming and pleasant, and the owners are friendly. I highly recommend it.

20/11/2025: Loved it! They have a limited, well curated menu and is the perfect place for a quick but filling snack. We had the Cacio e Pepe and pomodoro e basilico suppli, both were delicious, fresh and just melted in the mouth. We then also tried the mozzarella in carrozza (Italian fried mozzarella sandwich) which was a bit of a let down but still decent. I recommend sticking to the suppli. There is limited seating but relatively quick turnaround. The decor is pretty cool and they have multiple beverage options

02/12/2025: Everything was excellent! I tried the carbonara and it was delicious (better than some restaurants). The portion cost 5 euros and it's very generous (if you're not very hungry, it's easy to share). Although there's a line, the service is fast. Highly recommended.

01/10/2025: I'm only reviewing the aperitivo portion, as I've never tried the restaurant. My boyfriend and I come here often! First of all, it's located in a great area where you can shop and then sit down for a drink. The platter and cocktails are excellent. The prices are reasonable; if I'm not mistaken, a spritz is around €7! What I love most about this place, however, is the ambiance; I really like it, it's well-kept. I recommend it if you want to make a good impression with someone over a drink! The only thing I could add is that it took them a little while to come before we ordered, but that was definitely a temporary oversight; they usually come and take the order right away!

22/09/2025: It wasn't hard to find a parking spot; we stayed on the first floor in a very private and charming corner. The appetizers were excellent, from the Spanish ham to an exquisite fried fish and an excellent octopus with potatoes. Generous portions. The fish-based first courses and ravioli with buttata were spectacular. Thanks again, and we'll be back often.

11/10/2025: What a great spot to eat, relax and unwind in Rome, especially after a really terrible start to a trip. The food, service and atmosphere were perfect for the mood. Fun, welcoming and still felt “local” enough to immerse yourself in what Rome has to offer with food and culture. We had a wonderful meal, conversation with our hosts and the owner.
