27/12/2025: A pleasant surprise at this little self-service restaurant: perfectly cooked vegetables, pasta, etc. You can create your own plate as you like for a very reasonable price. All this just a few steps from the Vatican.

12/01/2026: I had the pleasure of discovering Il San Lorenzo during a ceremony, and I was deeply and pleasantly impressed. The absolute highlight is undoubtedly the quality of the raw seafood: incredibly fresh, served with care and elegance, and with a truly remarkable variety that showcases the raw ingredients to their fullest. Each course is an explosion of authentic flavors, reflecting a careful selection and exceptional expertise in fish preparation. Despite the private event, the service was impeccable, with the staff always present, attentive, and courteous. The management is professional yet warm, putting every guest at ease. The price is certainly proportionate to the quality of the products and the gastronomic experience offered: you don't come here for just any meal, but for a truly haute cuisine experience. I wasn't able to fully appreciate the wine list, as on this occasion, wines from the organizer's own winery were served. All the more reason to return soon and explore the restaurant's wine selection, exploring the pairings offered. Highly recommended.

08/11/2025: I bought some porchetta here and was a little disappointed: it was dry and stringy (porchetta should melt in your mouth), and my husband almost lost a tooth because of a bone (normally, there shouldn't be one). Anyway, I'm giving it 3 stars because the staff is really kind.

18/10/2025: I often go there with my wife to buy excellent meat and the staff is very kind and smiling. It is a beautiful place, very well stocked.

08/12/2025: A charming place, with qualified and friendly staff. Dishes prepared with attention to every detail. I ate very well. The Ferri wine from their cellar was also excellent. I'm very satisfied. I'll definitely be back.

17/11/2025: I've never used this term before, but I think "excellence" is the right word... unrivaled... just a mere word, however, that doesn't fully capture the essence of the culinary experience at "Il ristorante La Foresta." Every dish is a feast for the eyes and the palate... the pork-filled ravioli are a true delicacy... hand-sealed!!! The fillet with two peppers was butter... the fried porcini mushrooms were crispy and juicy... Sure, you pay, but the rest doesn't matter!!!!

08/11/2025: The place is wonderful and very reasonably priced. We sat down during peak hours, but the waiters were still very attentive and served us very quickly. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend it. They also offer takeout.

06/01/2026: Pizza is exceptional as always (the off-menu Megaton is simply amazing, as long as you like strong flavors; Margherita is excellent and the hydrolyzed dough is top notch, as usual); the Montanarina is excellent and plump. The only issues are the fries (a rather small plate of fries that I'm not sure are fresh and not frozen for €5) and the water size, which is quite questionable (0.75 I think). Unfortunately, since it was evening, I didn't have coffee, which is always delicious (Carnera roasting).

14/12/2025: I went to this place last night for a friend's birthday party and I was really satisfied! The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming; the menu was high-quality and carefully prepared, and they also offered excellent vegan and gluten-free options: great, kind, and inclusive! I'll definitely be back.

10/01/2026: We stayed for three nights in early January, and this was our third stay. The Westin Excelsior is our go-to hotel whenever we visit Rome. They treat Bonvoy members exceptionally well, and it always makes our stay in Rome special. We were very happy to see many of the same staff in the breakfast room as last year. The lobby staff were very kind and greeted us warmly every time we entered or left the hotel, always with a smile. In the breakfast room, all the staff worked hard and were attentive and friendly. I felt that the service was even better than last year, which made our stay in Rome especially enjoyable. We travel at least three times a year and have stayed at many high-end hotel brands such as St. Regis, Ritz-Carlton, Banyan Tree, and Fairmont. This year, the service at The Westin was surprisingly on par with those luxury hotels. The staff all seemed genuinely happy and did their best to provide excellent service. We feel the general manager runs the hotel very well. Housekeeping and turndown service were also outstanding. Overall, we had another wonderful stay in Rome with exceptional service and will definitely return again.

09/01/2026: The hotel was nice, but unfortunately the staff, especially the front desk, were very unfriendly, if not completely unfriendly. They all looked like they were in a bad mood or didn't want to work; that was the only unpleasant thing about my stay.

01/12/2025: This restaurant was a pleasant discovery for us on a Sunday lunch. The veranda overlooks the picturesque port of San Felice Circeo, so weather permitting, you can enjoy their dishes in the sun or in the cool air, depending on the season! The wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and friendly with guests... the atmosphere is informal but very refined. My only complaint: the table settings are too minimal; I would add a placemat. The wine list is well-balanced, with many nice options under €30. Otherwise, the dishes are tasty, delicious, and portioned appropriately. Overall, a place that makes you want to return and try other dishes.
