09/02/2026: My husband and I went for pizza. Based on the reviews, we expected it to be very tasty. Unfortunately, the taste of the pizza was a bit of a disappointment. Compared to others in Rome, this one was very poor. It tasted bland and flavorless. Unfortunately, the tomato sauce wasn't impressive, and the pizza base was burnt. The service was very friendly 😊

09/11/2025: An old-fashioned trattoria in Frascati. The owner is friendly and no-frills, just like the place itself. We had an appetizer: cured meats, including hand-cut prosciutto, olives, grilled eggplant, and an omelette. Bruschetta with olive oil. House wine. Rigatoni, Carbonara, and bucatini amatriciana were all very good. The house wine, not exceptional, but good. The portions were very generous, and I didn't pair them with dessert. We asked for two amaro liqueurs, and the owner offered us delicious wine donuts (typical of Frascati). Oh... the host hasn't been there, and he never brought the menu, but he does everything by word of mouth. Only go if you're looking for an old-fashioned trattoria. 🙌🙌🙌 If you come in like this, you'll be satisfied. 🔝

01/02/2026: What bread! We weren't expecting such a good sandwich! My daughter, who usually leaves out the bread, ate the entire ciabatta from her sandwich. Everyone was very kind and helpful.

28/12/2025: Capocavallo is the result of decades of work. You can tell because the structure is architecturally a collection of spaces constructed with different materials. A kind of fun Tetris game. But above all, there's the courtesy and helpfulness of the owners, who make you feel "at home." The fettuccine dish was the only thing I ate, but more than the dish itself, I liked the elegant simplicity of the table setting. I'll definitely be back.

31/01/2026: Choose today's menu written on the board. Today's menu, fried cod, is the epitome of freshness. The anchovy zucchini fritters were also delicious and a first for me. Tuna pizza is a little salty and sweet. Elementary school students might like it. The Italian sparkling water is a little less stimulating. As a guest, I wasn't aware of this, but the owner readily offered me a different brand. Grazie you for your hospitality.

12/12/2025: We had dinner with friends, about ten of us, and we had a great time, but I'd like to highlight the pizza. It was DELICIOUS, Roman-style, light, easy to digest, and left you thirsty all night and in the morning. Fair prices, a simple, pleasant neighborhood atmosphere. The service was a bit slow/distracted, but that's a small detail for improvement in my opinion. I'll definitely be back. Well done.

08/11/2025: I bought some porchetta here and was a little disappointed: it was dry and stringy (porchetta should melt in your mouth), and my husband almost lost a tooth because of a bone (normally, there shouldn't be one). Anyway, I'm giving it 3 stars because the staff is really kind.

18/10/2025: I often go there with my wife to buy excellent meat and the staff is very kind and smiling. It is a beautiful place, very well stocked.

17/12/2025: Lunch with friends. I personally had excellent mezze maniche alla carbonara, followed by a Jewish-style artichoke and a cod fillet for main course, house wine, and a crème brulee and coffee for dessert. The bill was a bit steep at €41 per person. The atmosphere was a bit dated, but welcoming, especially given the fireplace in view. The service was excellent.

The bread they serve is delicious—a real treat. The staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable compared to average. I'd say it was a pleasant evening.
