29/05/2026: Roman pizza and fantastic flowers

27/05/2026: The locale is lovely, the decor and ambiance is staying. But I found the food (courgette entree and truffle pasta) service quite average. But there were lots of actual Italians enjoying their food there so perhaps I got the wrong dishes!

11/06/2026: We popped in at 5pm and stood in line for about half an hour. The waiters were very, very polite. The large 13-ounce salad was very tasty and very good value. The Margherita pizza had cheese that wasn't to our taste. The size was generous and we shared a pizza and a salad for the two of us. לא שווה המתנה של חצי שעה ומעלה.יש שפע ענק של פיצריות טעימות.

22/04/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful fresh seafood platter and other dishes that were new to us. The two waitresses were very attentive and considerate, but not intrusive. An evening and a restaurant that will remain a fond memory for a long time.

19/04/2026: Behind Castel Sant'Angelo, among the beautiful Roman alleys, lies this small restaurant, so far one of the best I've ever visited. The attention and care shown to the customers from the moment they arrive, with a cute bag hanger designed specifically to hold them at the table, is truly captivating. Their welcome with a taste from the chef is truly ecstatic: a small gourmet dish rich in flavor and served hot. We sampled many appetizers, both raw and cooked, and each was carefully chosen, but the octopus tentacles on potato cake left me speechless... The portions are truly generous and satisfying, something you don't find in high-end restaurants. We continued with a first course, and here's another top dish: perfectly cooked, fiery pasta that perfectly blended the selected seafood sauce with exceptional Castelmagno cheese shavings. The top of my list, and I'll be back soon to discover other dishes.

19/05/2026: In my opinion, one of the many pizzeria restaurants in the area where you can eat real Neapolitan pizza, rich in toppings and the pizza chef's imagination, a small but very welcoming place and very friendly staff, honest prices, highly recommended.

27/02/2026: A simple restaurant with good food. The pizzas are especially good. Fair prices, and the owner is kind and attentive, as is Denise, the waitress, who is very polite and courteous. Montagnola may become a good habit.

10/06/2026: It was an exceptional experience, you know, one of those places where you have to book otherwise you can't have lunch or dinner... spaghetti with clams, mussels, and marinated salmon... a delicacy... I hope to go back again... I'd be happy to go... unfortunately, I don't live nearby...

28/04/2026: Hmmm, it can improve and return to how it once was. As for the service, I was about to give it one star because one of the waiters was a bit sloppy, not wearing a uniform, and it seemed like he didn't enjoy serving. I've also worked in the restaurant business and was always smiling, even in the worst of times. The decor needs improving. The food is okay, but a little more character in the dishes wouldn't hurt. I'm confident it can improve. I still recommend going for the mussels and other delicacies.

19/04/2026: Very reasonable prices and big portions. The Amatriciana we had was the highlight of the dinner.

12/06/2026: I don't know about the rooms. The restaurant is very nice. The food is good. The staff is very polite and helpful. Especially the girl who waited on us at our table. Throughout dinner. Always available. The greenery and lighting are very beautiful. It's a shame I couldn't see the pool.

31/05/2026: I celebrated my daughter Alessia's first communion on May 24th. The restaurant was excellent, the food was delicious, and the service was very professional. The owner was very kind and professional, and the waiter, Admir, was excellent, he looked after us throughout! I highly recommend it, it was all special! Super!

11/06/2026: We ordered pizza, pasta, and lasagna to try this restaurant. The food was neither very bad nor very good; frankly, it fell short of our expectations. Especially considering there are so many good alternatives in Italy, it wasn't a culinary experience we would choose again. The real disappointment, however, was the service. The waiters were quite indifferent and gave the impression that customer satisfaction wasn't valued. We had to wait unnecessarily for many things, from ordering to asking for the bill. We waited a long time for the bill, and had to remind them several times. Although the location is good, the service quality and the average taste of the food unfortunately didn't meet our expectations overall. I wouldn't say it was bad, but I would say it was "a notch above bad." I hope improvements will be made regarding service quality.

19/01/2026: Update after 3 years: A confirmation of quality and courtesy I'm pleased to review "La Baita" again, three years after my first visit, and I can only confirm my positive opinion; in fact, I've improved the overall rating! We returned yesterday to celebrate our son's second birthday, and the experience was wonderful. The place remains truly unique, an oasis immersed in nature where children (and adults) can be right next to the animals. What has changed and what remains unchanged: Food: The quality is always top-notch. I can confirm that the meat is excellent, as are the pasta dishes. The food is truly delicious. Service: Although three years ago we had some delays with the delivery times, this time everything was perfect. I want to emphasize the extreme courtesy, kindness, and care the staff showed us, making our son's birthday even more special. Atmosphere: The location remains magical for those seeking relaxation and contact with nature. Compared to my previous visit, the small logistical issues of the past (wait times and noise) were largely overcome by the attention they gave us yesterday. A favorite place in Saracinesco, where we always return with pleasure. Highly recommended!
