28/04/2026: Hmmm, it can improve and return to how it once was. As for the service, I was about to give it one star because one of the waiters was a bit sloppy, not wearing a uniform, and it seemed like he didn't enjoy serving. I've also worked in the restaurant business and was always smiling, even in the worst of times. The decor needs improving. The food is okay, but a little more character in the dishes wouldn't hurt. I'm confident it can improve. I still recommend going for the mussels and other delicacies.

19/01/2026: Update after 3 years: A confirmation of quality and courtesy I'm pleased to review "La Baita" again, three years after my first visit, and I can only confirm my positive opinion; in fact, I've improved the overall rating! We returned yesterday to celebrate our son's second birthday, and the experience was wonderful. The place remains truly unique, an oasis immersed in nature where children (and adults) can be right next to the animals. What has changed and what remains unchanged: Food: The quality is always top-notch. I can confirm that the meat is excellent, as are the pasta dishes. The food is truly delicious. Service: Although three years ago we had some delays with the delivery times, this time everything was perfect. I want to emphasize the extreme courtesy, kindness, and care the staff showed us, making our son's birthday even more special. Atmosphere: The location remains magical for those seeking relaxation and contact with nature. Compared to my previous visit, the small logistical issues of the past (wait times and noise) were largely overcome by the attention they gave us yesterday. A favorite place in Saracinesco, where we always return with pleasure. Highly recommended!

26/04/2026: Too bad the photos are missing: - spaghetti alla botticella - mezze maniche cacio e pepe 😆 But we were too hungry! This restaurant was a sweet surprise. It may not be as prominent as other tourist spots, and its seating is limited, but it's phenomenal in every other way 💯🏆! Excellent service, delicious and generous portions, we'll definitely be back! Price per person: about €25, 3 adults and a 7-year-old child.

12/04/2026: A more than satisfying Sunday lunch. The welcome and cleanliness were impeccable. We ordered the mezze maniche alla gricia, which were very good, as were the artichokes alla romana. Well done, we'll definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to stop at the usual restaurants on Bracciano's main streets, which are packed to the brim and noisy, but prefers a small, quiet, and secluded place. The price didn't disappoint either.

22/04/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful fresh seafood platter and other dishes that were new to us. The two waitresses were very attentive and considerate, but not intrusive. An evening and a restaurant that will remain a fond memory for a long time.

19/04/2026: Behind Castel Sant'Angelo, among the beautiful Roman alleys, lies this small restaurant, so far one of the best I've ever visited. The attention and care shown to the customers from the moment they arrive, with a cute bag hanger designed specifically to hold them at the table, is truly captivating. Their welcome with a taste from the chef is truly ecstatic: a small gourmet dish rich in flavor and served hot. We sampled many appetizers, both raw and cooked, and each was carefully chosen, but the octopus tentacles on potato cake left me speechless... The portions are truly generous and satisfying, something you don't find in high-end restaurants. We continued with a first course, and here's another top dish: perfectly cooked, fiery pasta that perfectly blended the selected seafood sauce with exceptional Castelmagno cheese shavings. The top of my list, and I'll be back soon to discover other dishes.

14/03/2026: We discovered the restaurant by chance and were immediately struck by its cuisine: modern Italian dishes, well-thought out, beautifully executed, and perfectly balanced. I thoroughly enjoyed both the appetizers and the first courses, featuring homemade pasta. I had the opportunity to try excellent ravioli and the truly excellent rabbit pappardelle. They also have a wide selection of wines, and the restaurant is spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated, with the option of seating on the terrace, inside, or at the counter. The staff is professional and very attentive, with the perfect attitude to make guests feel at ease. Without a doubt, a great find in the Prati area.

12/05/2026: My honest review: I had dinner at Glass Hostaria on my fourth and last night in Rome. I made a reservation in advance, and at the time of booking they ask for your card details (if you don't show up, there will be a charge). So far so good. However, I tried to cancel the reservation via the restaurant's WhatsApp, in advance, and I was not attended to. They replied, saying they would send the link, and nothing. Even after several requests, I received no response. So, I went to the restaurant (since there would be a charge) explained the situation, and nothing. So I stayed and had dinner. I know how the tasting menu works, and what Michelin-starred restaurants are like (it's not my first time, and I've had incredible experiences) but this restaurant was my worst meal in Rome. So, unless you are a lover of Michelin-starred restaurants with a tasting menu, IT'S NOT WORTH IT. The gastronomy of Rome is wonderful, there are many exceptional restaurants where you will have an incredible experience, paying 1/3 of the price of Glass. Their menu is 135 euros per person, without drinks. For less, you'll have a sensational Italian experience, with drinks included. I say this with authority, because on my three previous nights, I ate and drank very well: pasta, pizza, meat, wine, desserts... everything incredible! Perhaps because I had such good experiences, Glass didn't appeal to me. I hope this helps, so you don't regret it 🥰

09/05/2026: Taverna del Bracho is located on Via della Pisana. It's a trattoria/pizzeria/steakhouse with simple, rustic decor. Unlike many other places, you won't have trouble finding parking here, as the restaurant has a very large parking lot that can accommodate several cars. We enjoyed the house appetizer and a Danish beef steak, which was truly delicious. The service was basic and basic. Prices were average, considering the current historical period. The bathrooms were clean. Recommended restaurant.

25/04/2026: You arrive and it doesn't seem like anything special, then you go down the stairs and enter the restaurant and it's a real surprise, it feels like a warm and welcoming tavern. Kindness and hospitality, and above all, the food is great, from appetizers to dessert (we would have even mopped up those). Go in with your eyes closed and try it.
