05/10/2025: I sat down with my husband with a meager appetite, yet we ate incredibly well. Their amazing focaccia, picanha tartare, coppodè burger, and their fries—all delicious. The service is friendly, familiar, yet professional. The atmosphere is relaxing and very pleasant. We'll be back again. Thank you!

23/11/2025: My boyfriend and I had lunch there yesterday. We hadn't booked, but luckily there was room for two. We had a tagliata steak, which was delicious and perfectly cooked. The green beans with Tropea onions were also really good. To finish, a slice of ricotta and sour cherry tart, served warm, was truly exceptional. We'll definitely be back.

08/12/2025: How can you say the food is good? Waited over an hour for dry lasagna, fettuccine with mushrooms, edible for hunger, chestnut strudel, mush, please!!! Extremely disappointing.

06/12/2025: A rustic restaurant with a small but hearty menu. The mixed antipasto platter isn't particularly impressive due to the lack of cleanliness of the cured meats, while the fresh pasta dishes are plentiful and delicious, although the wild boar ragù is a bit heavy. The torta della nonna and the blueberry tart are excellent, but the tiramisu is less so. The house wine is mediocre. Excellent service, with a fast and always available hostess.

02/11/2025: I've been to this restaurant on two different occasions, and each time has been a pleasant confirmation. The atmosphere is welcoming, with the option of indoor or outdoor seating, perfect for any season. The house specialties are definitely worth trying, especially the beer, which is truly excellent. A children's menu is also available, convenient for families. The staff has always been kind, attentive, and helpful, helping make the experience even more enjoyable.

31/12/2025: Healthy, fresh food, varied, plentiful, and affordable. All the waiters were attentive and friendly.

27/12/2025: A pleasant surprise at this little self-service restaurant: perfectly cooked vegetables, pasta, etc. You can create your own plate as you like for a very reasonable price. All this just a few steps from the Vatican.

31/12/2025: Dinner after a paddle tennis match with colleagues. The pizza was delicious, crispy Roman-style, and the amatriciana. Friendly staff, family atmosphere.

03/12/2025: We went for a birthday lunch. We waited over an hour for appetizers. As for the first course, the linguine was excellent, the amatriciana tasted like nothing, and the risotto crema di scambi was undercooked and didn't taste like scampi. The waiter didn't change the orders because they asked to remove certain dishes, but he brought them anyway. However, there were two children who only ate appetizers because they were hungry and didn't want to wait any longer for the main course.

12/01/2026: I had the pleasure of discovering Il San Lorenzo during a ceremony, and I was deeply and pleasantly impressed. The absolute highlight is undoubtedly the quality of the raw seafood: incredibly fresh, served with care and elegance, and with a truly remarkable variety that showcases the raw ingredients to their fullest. Each course is an explosion of authentic flavors, reflecting a careful selection and exceptional expertise in fish preparation. Despite the private event, the service was impeccable, with the staff always present, attentive, and courteous. The management is professional yet warm, putting every guest at ease. The price is certainly proportionate to the quality of the products and the gastronomic experience offered: you don't come here for just any meal, but for a truly haute cuisine experience. I wasn't able to fully appreciate the wine list, as on this occasion, wines from the organizer's own winery were served. All the more reason to return soon and explore the restaurant's wine selection, exploring the pairings offered. Highly recommended.

17/12/2025: I don't know if the management changed with the name change, but I found the pizzas different: soft dough and bland toppings. The quality has gone down significantly.

16/12/2025: The pizza is still good, but since the change of management, which isn't explicitly acknowledged, the attention to the toppings and the quality of the products haven't been the same. The pizza I chose, for example, isn't the same anymore.

04/02/2026: Typical Roman style pizza, not to be confused with the Neapolitan. It is a thinner crust with similar toppings.

31/01/2026: Choose today's menu written on the board. Today's menu, fried cod, is the epitome of freshness. The anchovy zucchini fritters were also delicious and a first for me. Tuna pizza is a little salty and sweet. Elementary school students might like it. The Italian sparkling water is a little less stimulating. As a guest, I wasn't aware of this, but the owner readily offered me a different brand. Grazie you for your hospitality.

08/01/2026: What a spectacle! Not a single detail out of place. I'm rarely so amazed by a random choice, on a beautiful December day, a reservation made using the incredibly convenient The Fork system. The pleasant thing was that my father-in-law, a purebred Sicilian, was there, traveling from Catania, and he was blown away by the quality and abundance of the food. We had a seafood appetizer and various first courses, and everything was perfect: the freshest fish, the abundance of dishes, and the lakefront location... a lunch fit for a king, and at a very fair price! The excellent and varied wine list also accompanied it all, along with the amazing dessert... Compliments to the chef, he really knows his stuff. We left feeling full and happy, like we haven't been in a long time. My wife and I are from Santa Marinella, but we're already planning on returning to Lake Bracciano, and with that excuse, we'll definitely return to this pleasant restaurant to try everything on the menu! 09/11/2025: An old-fashioned trattoria in Frascati. The owner is friendly and no-frills, just like the place itself. We had an appetizer: cured meats, including hand-cut prosciutto, olives, grilled eggplant, and an omelette. Bruschetta with olive oil. House wine. Rigatoni, Carbonara, and bucatini amatriciana were all very good. The house wine, not exceptional, but good. The portions were very generous, and I didn't pair them with dessert. We asked for two amaro liqueurs, and the owner offered us delicious wine donuts (typical of Frascati). Oh... the host hasn't been there, and he never brought the menu, but he does everything by word of mouth. Only go if you're looking for an old-fashioned trattoria. 🙌🙌🙌 If you come in like this, you'll be satisfied. 🔝
