09/11/2025: An old-fashioned trattoria in Frascati. The owner is friendly and no-frills, just like the place itself. We had an appetizer: cured meats, including hand-cut prosciutto, olives, grilled eggplant, and an omelette. Bruschetta with olive oil. House wine. Rigatoni, Carbonara, and bucatini amatriciana were all very good. The house wine, not exceptional, but good. The portions were very generous, and I didn't pair them with dessert. We asked for two amaro liqueurs, and the owner offered us delicious wine donuts (typical of Frascati). Oh... the host hasn't been there, and he never brought the menu, but he does everything by word of mouth. Only go if you're looking for an old-fashioned trattoria. 🙌🙌🙌 If you come in like this, you'll be satisfied. 🔝

24/10/2025: Everything was excellent and plentiful, the price was right, the staff were friendly and treated well.

14/12/2025: I remembered it better... something's changed. At 1:50 PM we order the first courses... they ask us if we should order the second courses right away or later, taking our time... we decide later... the first courses arrive at 3:20 PM... we try to order the second courses immediately... but by then the grill was no longer available. What can I say... I was still hungry, the food was decent. The service was confusing. Let's see the bill now, hahahaha. P.S. I hadn't even finished writing this before they brought out a second course of suckling pig for everyone, free of charge. Thanks and I'm changing my review.

13/12/2025: Yesterday, the 12th of this month, I went to lunch at the Roman restaurant La Sabina with about 30 friends for the first time (and it will certainly be the last). It was an experience I will never forget. The appetizer was decidedly poor quality and dated, the two first courses—fettuccine with porcini mushrooms—were tasteless and sparing in content, and the mutton gnocchi were barely adequate. The second course consisted of unidentified meat, inedible due to its toughness, comparable to shoe soles. Baked potatoes and salad. Water and wine in abundance. I decided not to try the cake. A decidedly negative experience, and I do not recommend this place.

15/12/2025: For traditional roman dishes, this is the place! A favourite amongst locals. Great food, great people...Pizza is wafer thin and excellent. Best artichokes Roman style (carciofi alla romana)

10/12/2025: A casual but pleasant place. The food is decent, but people come here primarily to choose an excellent bottle of wine from the extensive list. The spirits are also very interesting. A word of advice...remove any empty bottles from the list that can no longer be refilled.

27/12/2025: A pleasant surprise at this little self-service restaurant: perfectly cooked vegetables, pasta, etc. You can create your own plate as you like for a very reasonable price. All this just a few steps from the Vatican.

23/02/2026: This restaurant is very affordable, and the staff are very friendly. When we arrived, lunch had already ended, but they still brought us chicken and beef from inside. Highly recommended!

I went with a group of friends, and from the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful: each dish was carefully explained to us, making us appreciate what we were about to enjoy even more. Their kindness, however, was the true added value of the evening, rare and sincere. Paolo, the owner, was a wonderful person, making us feel at ease and conveying the passion he puts into his business. The quality-price ratio was also excellent, absolutely in line with the quality offered. Highly recommended restaurant: I will definitely be back.

01/01/2026: I visited this restaurant for lunch, but the experience was truly forgettable. The place was freezing, so much so that it was impossible to relax and enjoy the meal. ​The most disappointing aspect, however, was the service: we were attended by a waitress who oozed impatience from every pore. Her snobbish, listless, and condescending attitude made you put off ordering. As for the food, the first course was very disappointing; only the dessert was good, but it wasn't enough to make up for the rest. ​Paying to feel like a nuisance in a freezing environment is unacceptable. I won't be back!

08/11/2025: The place is wonderful and very reasonably priced. We sat down during peak hours, but the waiters were still very attentive and served us very quickly. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend it. They also offer takeout.

25/01/2026: We arrived for lunch by chance, on the recommendation of a local lady. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were kind and helpful. The food was good: we had a platter of cured meats and cheeses, a pork shank with baked potatoes, and a 1/2 liter of house red wine. There were a couple of drawbacks, from my point of view: we had ordered a small platter, but upon rechecking the receipt (my mistake for not checking immediately), we saw that they charged us for a medium platter (not much difference in price, but I would have preferred to eat what I later discovered I had paid for!). The second was paying €4.50 for half a focaccia (which I mistakenly thought was included in the platter). Overall, a good experience, and a recommended place.

22/11/2025: What a wonderful discovery... I couldn't say which dish I liked best because I loved them all! The menu offers a variety of dishes that are different from the norm, with top-quality, expertly prepared ingredients. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and you immediately feel welcomed and pampered... Highly recommended! You should try it and come back!

16/02/2026: Beautiful atmosphere, excellent food, and plenty of it. Fast and very professional service. I went there for Valentine's Day, and the dessert, specially made for the occasion, was phenomenal! Highly recommended restaurant.
