31/05/2026: Was recommended to eat in the Jewish Quarter. However, this particular street felt quite touristy with restaurants in a row and it was hard to know which one was good and which was not. There were eight of us. The waitress was nice and helped us with the menu but he wanted to give the father in the party a surprise dish for the main course, which he agreed to. For starters we had three different varieties of artichoke which were all good but the best was the artichoke souffle. All the food was good but nothing that said wow or stood out. The surprise consisted of pigeon and it was also good but not worth the 40 euros that then appeared on the bill. It was the most expensive dish and it didn't feel fair that it was more expensive than anything else on the entire menu. This brings the rating down considerably.
