21/10/2025: The food here is pretty good. Everything we ordered was great. The pizza was light, crispy crust with just the right amount of chew, topped with creamy melted cheese, savory prosciutto, fresh mushrooms, and some Parmesan. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly, super juicy and tasty, and the roasted potatoes on the side were spot on. Seafood platter, was nice. everything was made with care and top-quality ingredients. Also this place does not charge cover seat!!!

10/09/2025: We tried this little seafood restaurant on a Saturday in late August. There were only a few tables and it was less than half capacity, yet the wait was exhausting. For just one appetizer and two first courses, we must have spent an hour and a half. The fried anchovies were okay, while the two first courses were offered in half portions, which we enthusiastically agreed with. In reality, it was a way to accommodate the orders of an adjacent table. In any case, the first course with monkfish was quite good, but the second course was decidedly unseasoned, featuring a very thick pasta dish, like large, "strascicate" orecchiette. To accompany them and not let the pasta flavor overpower, much more forethought and a more thoughtful accompaniment of both the fish and the sauce would have been needed. As for the ambiance, aside from the large open kitchen, it was very unremarkable for a seafood place. In short, were we just lucky with the evening? Who knows... but I wouldn't go back.

24/11/2025: Horrible experience at this restaurant in Rome. Despite having been their customers for several years we have been treated with disrespect and unwelcome attitude by waitress Giorgia, daughter of the owner. We believe she would be better doing an easier job where human contact is not needed rather than serving customers since she has got a quite inappropriate attitude for a restaurant where professionalism, friendliness and a welcoming attitude should be mandatory strengths for staff working in any decent restaurant. She failed in everything, she showed us how unpleasant and unprofessional she is. She passed us several times when we were sitting at a table outside but never said hello and we know each others since so many years!!! But the icing on the cake was when she switched the light off when we were still sitting outside and we were still in opening times, a clear rude invitation to leave with no reason! I need to mention that few days earlier, she told my mother to not come back anymore and the reason given was that about 6 months ago we didn't show up in one occasion after booking a table. My mother had already explained the reason why she didn't show up that day and already apologized for that but Giorgia kept complaining about that at every following occasion that my mother came for lunch. That is so rude, unprofessional, pathetic and ridiculous to keep blaming my mother for the same issue despite so many years being their customers. Since I couldn't believe she was serious when she lacked respect to my mother I decided to pay a visit with my mother as I did so many times before and I could witness how this unpleasant person treated us. So we suggest the management to better train their staff as food is not the only thing we paid for when we go to a restaurant, service is also equally important and such bad manners should not be tolerated if you want to gain a good reputation in your business, something that you lost. And please let me add a comment to the shameful answer you gave to my review, you are such disgusting people throwing mud to my mother by saying that she was drunk. My mother is 80 years old and she deserves more respect. Furthermore, if you had any dignity whatsoever, you wouldn't have accepted our money if you couldn't stand us. The karma will do its job.

09/12/2025: The food is not great, but it is overpriced. The food arrived quickly. It is Italian cuisine. The service is excellent. The ambiance is neither good nor bad. You can sit outside or inside, which is fine.

06/12/2025: My hotel recommended Cotto for a quick authentic take away dinner and it was so good we went back and had desert. Great service, great atmosphere.

10/12/2025: Today we had lunch at La Vecchia Taverna in Velletri. A family-run restaurant unlike any other these days: a mother and son manage everything with ease, without frills and without the fake theatricality that often ruins the atmosphere. The cuisine is traditional, updated just enough but without losing the soul of authentic flavors. Adequate portions, carefully prepared dishes, no frills and no rush: just genuine attention. A few tables, a quiet atmosphere, simple explanations of the dishes—as it should be. In the dining room are the mother and one of her sons: welcoming, familiar, with that measured confidence that puts you at ease. In the kitchen, the other son creates dishes that exude tradition and arrive at the table beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. It was a pleasant lunch, almost like a step back in time. In an era when only huge, noisy, and impersonal restaurants are proliferating, finding a place like this is a breath of fresh air. It's nice to know that authentic places like this still exist.

23/11/2025: The location is charming, and more importantly, the food is excellent. A nice selection of appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts, and a good wine list. The staff is friendly and attentive; we were looked after excellently by Mercedes, a true symbol of quality. :)

09/11/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant with a friend, and we were both blown away by the quality of their dishes! We started with Angus beef carpaccio with truffle: the meat was excellent, melting in the mouth, and the truffle had a delicate flavor. For our first courses, we chose calamarata with pumpkin cream, guanciale, and pecorino cheese (simply perfect, with balanced flavors and a thick sauce) and tagliolini with butter and parmesan and truffle, both excellent; you could taste the quality of the ingredients. We finished with a millefeuille with Chantilly cream and dark chocolate, which once again completely satisfied us. The location, also suitable for special occasions, and the attentiveness, kindness, and efficiency of the staff are also noteworthy: we felt cared for throughout the dinner, and the service was prompt. The restaurant also offers convenient on-site parking. Highly recommended!

11/11/2025: We stopped in on our way back from a weekend away in Lazio. We found it by chance, and it was a wonderful discovery! Everything was delicious, and the staff was super friendly! Even though it's a bit far from our home, I think we'll be back very soon!
