But the quality of the food, the tranquility of the small place, and the friendliness of the service still deserve an excellent review. Found it by chance looking on google maps, we will definitely be back.

19/09/2024: Locale stupendo con personale altrettanto stupendo. Servizio veloce e ben servito. Non è un classico bar dove andare a bere bensì una vera e propria esperienza alla scoperta di birre artigianali, gin e whisky, accompagnati volendo da un'ottima cucina artigianale. Esperienza super consigliata anche da soli. Un ultimo complimento al proprietario che crea all'interno del locale un vero e proprio ambiente familiare e spensierato.

03/11/2024: First time having dinner at this restaurant. The place is small, but very welcoming. The service is perfect and the food delicious. The fish soup with coconut milk and curry is 10. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. P.S. Trust Lavinia's advice, we gave her carte blanche for the tasting menu and we were very satisfied

Ti accolgono con gentilezza i ragazzi che ci lavorano e capisci perché quando conosci il Titolare e sua madre, due persone davvero affabili e con le quali abbiamo chiacchierato piacevolmente e la cui Passione nel gestire questo meraviglioso luogo è palese. Non ho parlato del cibo ? Volevo non farlo per non rischiare di farvici andare e magari non trovare posto noi ma no, si meritano un 10 e lode !!! Per tutto !!! Cibo eccellente e servizio all’altezza ! Non conoscevamo Sutri e questa Trattoria che diventeranno un punto di riferimento per le nostre gite fuori Porta.

09/02/2025: It's not the first time I've come to this extraordinary restaurant, the super friendly staff, especially sign max, is truly unique, the food is good and the ingredients are of the highest quality! The Orecchiette Isola d'Oro is a must try, the fantastic raw meats, absolutely top quality/price ratio! My only piece of advice would be to clean the mussels better, but otherwise top notch, I'll be back as I always have!

10/01/2025: Amazing and tasty local Italian food! We had lunch there with friends who live in the area and who go to this restaurant every week for many years now. I can only recommend it if you are looking for authentic food and a friendly atmosphere!

22/02/2025: The pizzas are excellent, very tasty. Don't hesitate if you're passing through, it's worth the detour and what's more, it's not expensive at all. Also note that the sellers are top notch, welcoming and smiling. Good discovery during our stay.

19/02/2025: Great Roman style pizza (by the slice). Tullio specializes in baking pizza, bread and, among others, supplies. We didn't try the bread, but the pizzas and suppli from this place were delicious. We took several different kinds and they were all very good. The pizza with potatoes and nduja is certainly interesting. Sharp but very good! Ordered dishes can be heated by the staff, but cannot be consumed on site. You can also buy beer and soft drinks on site I definitely recommend it!

19/01/2025: Externally the restaurant offers parking for about twenty cars, while inside the restaurant appears very rustic. The menu that can be consulted via the QR code actually didn't work and the dishes were said verbally (which I honestly don't like, I prefer to evaluate by reading the paper). However, the choice of dishes is sufficient: we particularly appreciated the first courses which are undoubtedly their strong point, but the meat was equally good, of which we tried the pork fillet with truffles. The vegetable starter wasn't that great, for €9 it wasn't really worth it. Still a positive dinner. Very courteous waitress.

03/03/2025: All exceptional: ambiance, quality food and drinks, the owner (also chef in the kitchen) elegantly affable, quick and impeccable service (Donna Giulia, Donna Marika and Miss Veronica in period clothes!). All at a good price. What else?

16/02/2025: 2025 Update: We have returned many times in recent years to the Hostaria della Rosa and have always found confirmations. We went for lunch last Saturday, the excellent quality of the dishes, incredible Griciarola and really good Tiramisu. The service was courteous and at the right time, the owner was courteous and always available. I highly recommend it!! ---------- Discovered almost by chance it was a pleasant surprise. The place is welcoming, the cuisine is excellent and we were accompanied by the courtesy and passion of the owner who was always very attentive and available to our requests. We will definitely be back to try other delights.
