The polite and competent welcome of the staff makes you immediately feel at ease and pampered. Located near the historic center of Olevano Romano, where the Disney film on the Meredith crime was filmed in recent days, it offers a culinary experience that combines tradition and innovation. The menu is full of typical local cuisine, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Together with my friends we savored the excellent starters and meat-based main courses, which melt in your mouth. Each dish is presented with care and attention to detail, demonstrating the passion of the chef, who is also the owner, for cooking. The service provided by Giulia is impeccable: the staff is kind, helpful and well-informed about the dishes on the menu, ready to recommend wine pairings, especially the Cesanese di Olevano, which together with the PREGIO oil, produced by the local Cooperativa Olibanum, further enhance the flavors. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, perfect for a romantic dinner or a family party. 05/01/2025: Siamo stati qui dopo la visita in abbazia. Non abbiamo trovato per niente ciò che speravamo! Come può essere tra i primi posti su Trip quando si tratta di un locale molto retrò, ammobiliato anni 90 e il cameriere (forse titolare) non proprio simpatico??? Incredibile!!! i piatti non erano cattivi ma stiamo parlando della classica trattoria economica sia negli ingredienti utilizzati che nella scelta dei piatti!!!

04/01/2025: Attirati dalle recensioni invece troviamo un posto molto retrò, tavoli e sedie da bar anni 80, titolare un po’ troppo antipatico… Senza pregiudizio per queste premesse ma i piatti erano proprio rasenti la sufficienza

27/11/2024: I gave these five stars four years ago, in 2020, when I came here for the first time. Since then my partner and I have returned several times and each time we felt at home and ate quality, well-prepared food. We chose this restaurant to announce a pregnancy and for our daughter's first birthday. For the first birthday they reserved the entire place for us and made all the guests feel at home. Marisa was, as usual, a perfect hostess, present at the right time. She and Francesca offered impeccable service and hospitality and the food was perfect and everyone complimented us. They also helped me set up a beautiful backdrop for the cake, as in the photo - thank you for everything! Moral of the story: this restaurant is always the right choice ❤️

18/11/2024: Hi, this restaurant is managed by Mrs Luisa and her daughter. They were nice in receiving us also if all restaurants nearby were full... We could think that it could be a sufficient quality restaurant, BUT it really has a VERY GOOD FOOD quality dishes. We tried: - carpaccio tonno (very very good) (€9) - spaghetti xon vongole (excellent)(€16) - tagliolini all'uovo alla sarda (very very good) (€16) - riso alla crema di scampi (excellent) (€16) - Wine: Gewurtraminer (very very good) - Frittura Calamari (excellent) (€20) The taste of the dishes were at very high quality. 14/11/2024: We discovered the Uhrigs Restaurant by chance and were thrilled! A warm, slightly older team 😅 that carries on with a lot of passion, and excellent food. Particularly nice: a quick look into the impeccably clean kitchen and a quick look at Nonna while she was cooking 🥰 Clear recommendation!!

28/12/2024: Visited as a walk-in without reservation and had an open run. Please note that lunch starts at 12:30. The owner is friendly and the server is friendly too. Wellington steak is highly recommended.

28/12/2024: We stopped here late for lunch and the servers were kind enough to accommodate us although it was late in the service period. They were smiling, generous, and jovial, and served up some delicious entrees that pleased every member of our family. The amuse bouche - a lovely truffle potato soup, was warm and delicious, and we loved our salad and pastas. Although we did not order dessert what we saw on other people’s tables looked very appetizing! We felt very at home here and welcome and would easily recommend it to families or anyone looking for a great dining experience.

19/09/2024: Evening out with a dear friend, remote street... but it has parking, come on... You look at it from the outside, yes, nice, a suburban pub... Yet on Google it has 4.9 out of over 100 reviews. Either this guy has a lot of friends, or he's hiding something from us! Something? More than something... Oh well, excellent welcome, not that it's a given, on the contrary, but with a little good will everyone is capable... Do you want to drink? I'd say so, but whether it's frozen or with over 30 degrees at night it's 300% humidity, I'd like some liquid nitrogen. He approaches threateningly with a board with almost 20 different beers on tap and in bottles. He could have left it there, we would have ordered a couple of things... But no, he begins a theatrical monologue explaining to us one by one all the beers, strength, appearance, flavour, smell, who makes it, what year they have been making it, all the employee names, every single hop where it comes from. Ok, ok, I'm not a great expert, maybe he made it all up, but he impressed me and we want to trust him. Now, since 2 beers are home-produced, we decide to try them. Wow, one light, one dark, one bitter, the other sweet, in common they have an incredible taste! Perfume, aftertaste, a complex taste, but one that you willingly study to try to understand... And how it goes down! Then I'm hungry, let's make mixed montanare, chips and handkerchief with truffle mushrooms and crispy bacon. What the hell is this handkerchief? Well, it'll be a piadina... Oh, guys, it's okay to make good beers, but making food this good is borderline between embarrassing and illegal. Incredible yeasts and doughs, everything tasty, homemade, of incredible quality. The mountain girls surprised me, but the handkerchief moved me. Now I understand why it's called that. Then the dessert, crumbled millefeuille with custard and dried fruit, and salted caramel cheesecake. And he made the cream for the crumble on the spot! But serious? But where are we? Here we are beyond every level... We leave nothing behind, obviously. I look at him. Serious. But why didn't we come here first? Be careful, I'm returning with my wife. It's a threat.

28/12/2024: siamo tornati volentieri. servizio sempre cortese e atmosfera informale. cibo sempre buono. temperatura sempre un po troppo bassa della sala ma sicuramente nel complesso lo consiglio sempre.

23/12/2024: Ottima location per una cena informale. Il ristorante si trova all'interno di un centro sportivo abbastanza famoso all'eur. Abbiamo preso 4 cheesburgher ed erano ottimi.

01/01/2025: Ogni dicembre vengo con la mia famiglia in questo ristorante e mai una delusione…Stavolta c abbiamo fatto la cena di capodanno e il risultato e’ stato eccellente! Servizio top, gentile e sorridente. Menu’ fantastico…eravamo in 10 ed ho fatto un figurone! Al prossimo dicembre!

04/12/2024: What to say? There is very little to add when you find excellence like this. Classic trattoria appetizers, excellent first courses (on which the pappardelle with hare sauce stand out), equally top meat second courses, in particular the delicious lamb with grilled lamb. The wines are good and the artisan desserts are very pleasant, with an exquisite tiramisu. Excellent service, prices with a decidedly very good value for money.

09/12/2024: La qualità rispetto a prima molto diversa e parlo delle torte il resto non lo so perché non ho usufruito di altri prodotti tra i quali gli aperitivi che fanno,ma questo passa in secondo piano,mi recò per prendere una torta alle 19.05 di sera e vengo servito da una ragazza biondina comprando una torta da 14'70 ed un litro di latte,il mio bancomat non andava perché poggiavo male sul pos il mio telefono,con tono abbastanza acceso e infastidita mi urla davanti ad altre persone che stavo sbagliando a poggiare il pos e di sbrigarmi a pagare che sennò stiamo li 1 ora. Servono altri modi per accogliere chi compra,peccato perché il posto è anche carino.

03/08/2024: Rome, 3-08-24' Excellent quality and "imaginative" food. It's interesting to see the chef to whom I want to send my heartfelt "compliments" through the windows as he happily prepares the dishes with his colleagues!!! The palate certainly cannot get bored in this place!!!!

25/07/2024: Very poor service, we sat for about 30 minutes and were not served, the waitress walked past us several times without paying any attention to us. Would have liked to eat there as it had a very nice modern atmosphere. A pity.
