27/09/2025: We really liked the hotel. It's very well located. Nearby, along the river, is a main street with good restaurants. The sea is nearby. However, we didn't like the beaches or the sea itself. We didn't swim in the sea, even though we arrived in Fiumencino a day before our flight specifically with the goal of visiting the sea. The hotel is very clean. There's a shared kitchen for breakfast, but it's very light. We were given a bottle of water. The hotel owner provides a shuttle to the airport. We went to the airport by public transport – bus number 8. The stop is a 7-minute walk away. Tickets cost 1 euro. The bus runs every 30 minutes. We bought tickets at the ticket office at the stop. Check-out is at 10:00 AM, but we were allowed to leave our luggage until 12:30 PM. I recommend staying at this hotel.

Every course was a pleasant surprise! But what makes this place truly special is the staff: kind, attentive, and always smiling. 16/11/2025: The best in Rome We dined two consecutive nights at this true Argentine gem in Rome. From the owners to the staff, they are simply extraordinary. Those familiar with Argentine cuisine (we go often because part of the family lives there) can appreciate the authenticity of the tradition and the top-quality ingredients even more. Special praise to the parilleros y asaderos for their skill in cooking the meat. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the prices are almost too good. A special mention for the best flan de pan I've ever tasted. We'll see you again soon!

The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, with a family-friendly feel that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful, always ready to recommend the daily specials or accommodate guests' requests. The menu offers a good variety, from traditional Italian classics to more modern offerings. The portions are generous, and the quality of the ingredients is evident: everything is fresh and well-cooked. The first courses, truly excellent, and the desserts are particularly noteworthy, both well worth a try. The prices are average, perhaps a little high for some courses, but fully justified by the overall quality of the service and dishes. The only small flaw is that during busy periods the wait can be a bit long, but nothing excessive. Overall, a place definitely worth a visit: tasty cuisine, a pleasant atmosphere, and service that makes guests feel welcome. Recommended.

20/11/2025: Thank you very much, ANDREA All the food was delicious, even for a Japanese person. The anchovy salad was especially tasty. The only thing I found disappointing was that when they brought the check, they also brought a lemon liqueur, which I hadn't requested (it was listed on the check). If this is culturally normal, I'm sorry, but I wish they'd said something before bringing it.

I can say you feel at home 🏡 The dishes are typical of the area, and you won't be able to get up without always being hungry. Both in the dining room and on the terrace overlooking Viterbo, being in the historic center. Family-run. If you're here, don't miss the opportunity.

22/10/2025: After my first somewhat critical review, I have to review my vision of the place, I have been back several times for lunch and I must say that they deserve a good 5 ⭐️ the dishes remain good as I had already written, the friendliness is always present, we have tiramisu requested andeeeeeee nice and different epilogue from last time... I think they identified me as a reviewer 🤪😜🤪 Now I'm there 3/4 times a week and I love it Old review… All good but damn tiramisu served frozen just can't be accepted... Rather tell me I haven't defrosted any if you want to wait but the working lunch is always with the minutes numbered... Sin

10/09/2025: We tried this little seafood restaurant on a Saturday in late August. There were only a few tables and it was less than half capacity, yet the wait was exhausting. For just one appetizer and two first courses, we must have spent an hour and a half. The fried anchovies were okay, while the two first courses were offered in half portions, which we enthusiastically agreed with. In reality, it was a way to accommodate the orders of an adjacent table. In any case, the first course with monkfish was quite good, but the second course was decidedly unseasoned, featuring a very thick pasta dish, like large, "strascicate" orecchiette. To accompany them and not let the pasta flavor overpower, much more forethought and a more thoughtful accompaniment of both the fish and the sauce would have been needed. As for the ambiance, aside from the large open kitchen, it was very unremarkable for a seafood place. In short, were we just lucky with the evening? Who knows... but I wouldn't go back.

15/10/2025: One of my favorite restaurants in Rome and the surrounding area. The restaurant business today has become all about chasing profits, ignoring the most important thing: passion and the quality of what's served to the customer. The pantry respects both of these prerogatives, which are fundamental to me. All the products served are top-quality, respectful of the supply chain, meaning direct contact with the producer (something extremely difficult to find; nowadays we rely primarily on large-scale distribution, thus favoring an uncontrolled, mass-produced product). Here, from the oil used to serve the meat to the cheese grated over a first course, we find artisanal products. The added value of the trattoria is undoubtedly the grill. The 4-5 cuts offered are meats sourced directly from the farm that processes the animals, so they're free of antibiotics or other junk that large-scale retailers have. The wine, beer, and sparkling wine lists are the same. Superlatives! The atmosphere is spacious, with attention to detail, elegant yet authentic, as the restaurant's name suggests, making you feel at home. They recently added pizza, but have set aside a separate corner within the restaurant where you can only enjoy fried pizza and other delicacies other than the restaurant menu. The same goes for the restaurant. Specially leavened dough and top-quality ingredients (for example, their capricciosa with Nebrodi black ham, fried egg, and Jewish-style artichokes on a bed of mozzarella from a local dairy). I will always return to you; you deserve it; you are food and wine professionals.

07/11/2025: Mediocre. The carbonara is neither good nor bad. I've had dozens and dozens of better ones. The prices are high, and the place lacks identity and soul.

14/10/2025: Fantastic hotel. Staff are absolutely wonderful and so friendly. Rooms spotlessly clean, had a kettle and English Tea, much appreciated. Very nice breakfast. Hotel is nice and secure. The area itself is a bit industrial but we knew this. Far from Rome but handy for the beach at Torvaianica. Supermarket just over the road. Also had a fridge in the room. Really good standard of accommodation and plenty of parking. Safe in the room too. Friendly staff are really what makes this place they are impeccably trained. We stayed at another hotel in Pomezia before, but this is the best

Not only was it included free of charge, but the quality and variety were absolutely excellent. It was the perfect start to our day, offering plenty of delicious options for both adults and my son. Having such a high-quality, complimentary breakfast really adds significant value to the stay and simplifies morning routines. ​The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space for us after a day of exploring. ​Overall, the Simon Hotel Pomezia exceeded our expectations. For anyone traveling to the area, especially with family, I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional value, wonderful atmosphere, and truly excellent complimentary breakfast.
