The place is very nice and the staff super friendly. It offers a spectacular view over the rooftops of Trastevere and very refined and particular furnishings. The kitchen offers both aperitifs and the possibility of dinner, although I recommend more aperitifs and pizza. We were welcomed by the manager I believe, Lorenzo, who guided us in choosing the dishes and was really kind and professional. The cocktails offered are excellent. Highly recommended for an evening with friends or as a couple.

False reviews have nothing to do with the reality that the cuisine and service are more than mediocre. I don't recommend it

In Piazza S. Egidio, there is this beautiful place which today is called Ombre rossa and which was already a dairy bar in the 1940s, today it has greatly expanded its offering to the customer (from breakfast in the morning, to lunch and dinner etc.) the staff is very kind, I had the opportunity to enjoy an excellent breakfast. The restaurant is spacious both inside and in the outdoor area overlooking the splendid square

Ombre Rosse si è trasferita mantenendo intatta la sua reputazione impeccabile sia dal punto di vista gestionale che qualitativo. Vi consiglio vivamente di provare le loro pinse farcite in modo creativo, accompagnate da una selezione di vini pregiati, birre di qualità e cocktail preparati da barman esperti. L'atmosfera accogliente, arricchita dalle locandine musicali, rende l'esperienza ancora più piacevole. Abbiamo recentemente gustato due deliziose pinse romane: una con salmone, Philadelphia e avocado e l'altra con prosciutto crudo e mozzarella. Entrambe eccezionali, ma la pinza con il salmone ha veramente conquistato il nostro palato. Non vediamo l'ora di tornare presto per assaggiare altre prelibatezze e goderci l'ospitalità del personale gentile e cortese. Questo locale è davvero bello e caratteristico, sia per l'atmosfera estiva all'aperto che per la possibilità di scegliere tra interno ed esterno anche durante l'inverno.
