25/06/2025: I am writing this review while I am at FASSANGUE (a restaurant where I have always gone with pleasure) which literally saved my evening... I had a reservation for 2 at 9pm today Monday 2 June 2025, reservation confirmed by the girl on the phone with whom I wanted to reassure myself that they were open... well we arrive in front of the restaurant and find it closed, I tried to call on the cell phone which is disconnected... what can I say? After this experience I will definitely make sure to never come to this restaurant, not even if I were starving, and at least for my circle of acquaintances (not a few) I will make sure that no one ever comes here. Even if there was a problem or if there were few reservations (strange since Fassangue is quite full) it would be right to at least warn by call or whatsapp (we are in 2025) That said I continue my excellent dinner at FASSANGUE (yes I will repeat it often in this review) ANSWER: but then you have not read the popo ‘ncazzo of the review, the only ones who make a fool of us are you who take the liberty of opening and closing as you like leaving people without dinner despite a reservation, seriousness equal to 0. Better to lose restaurants like this rather than find them, FASSANGUE all my life look.

23/06/2025: I was there for my birthday a few days ago and it was truly an exceptional experience, excellent quality of fish, first courses of excellent workmanship. A truly positive evening, I will definitely return. Highly recommended.

18/06/2025: A place I frequent for an aperitif with friends. Selection of rotating beers, craft and always excellent. Equipped with a kitchen, you can also eat well, the menu is large enough to cover all tastes. I particularly like it for the outside, separate tables and quiet atmosphere. Knowledgeable staff (applause to those who pour the beers, always perfect!) Highly recommended.

26/05/2025: We were visiting Rome and happened to stay near this place and we didn't speak Italian at all except Ciao, Bongiorno and Grazie, but the people serving us were so nice and helpful even though they didn't have an English menu. We had a great time there even though we barely spoke the language. Service was outstanding and we got to drink IPAs!

24/05/2025: Let's start with the positive things: the family atmosphere, the service, the house wine, the carbonara (one of the best I've ever eaten), the delicious coratella. The tripe, the oxtail and the boiled meatballs were good but average. Negative judgment for the pandorato but especially for the saltimbocca, immersed in the broth. Very good prices.

04/07/2025: The service was fantastic, but the food left a bit to be desired. The pasta was clearly not fresh—it was out of a packet and tasted bland. It wasn’t nearly as good as the other pasta dishes I’ve had in Rome and I was left very disapointed. The pizza was okay, but I’m a bit disappointed that I came for the food. Despite that, the staff were excellent and made my experience overall okay .

13/07/2025: A vast selection of toppings for "schiacciate" (equivalent to Roman pinsa). Exceptional quality dough, perfectly cooked and guaranteed digestibility. Nearly perfect supplì and excellent zucchini flowers. Discovered almost by chance on the recommendation of an acquaintance. Highly recommended, although parking can be difficult to find during certain times of the year.

16/07/2025: We booked while we were on the highway and it was pouring with rain, and I have to say we had a really good experience. The seafood salad was good, as were the seafood and sea urchin pasta dishes. The octopus with escarole was delicious, as were the pennette with tomato sauce (truly superb). The staff was friendly, attentive, and courteous.

19/07/2025: I eat there often and have always had a great experience, from the welcome to the service, which is always available. Excellent food. Family atmosphere. Must try!

06/07/2025: Guys A place with the best!! I've been around a lot but the quality and choice available here are VERY DIFFICULT to find!!! I shared a Nebraska (Angus) simply divine, cooked perfectly like butter!! Excellent wine and special beef burgers!! I invite you to come here, exceptional quality/price!!! When the owner comes to the table and recommends the Cut, makes you choose the piece and finally offers you bitters and sorbet I'd say you've hit the jackpot!!! We'll be back often!!!

03/07/2025: Nothing to say.. Everything top.. From the location to the food and the truly competent and kind staff.. I tried the aged meat, the Burger, the mixed roast and finally the birramisu, Everything fantastic.... Beautiful experience to repeat

17/07/2025: We had dinner this evening at this osteria. We ordered the brigand's appetizer, which we found to be plentiful and excellent, and a mixed grill with baked potatoes. Everything was delicious and plentiful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

28/06/2025: 🍷Ended my first night in Rome exactly the way I wanted — with wine, cured meats, and the charm of Trastevere. I came all the way to La Prosciutteria in Trastevere (even though there’s a location near the Pantheon) because this neighborhood has a vibe I absolutely love. full of soul♥️ This spot offers generous small plates and great wines at a super reasonable price — I had my favorite, Chianti Classico, and it hit the spot. Perfect pairing, perfect setting.

27/06/2025: This marks my sixth time in Italy. My first meal after arriving in Rome was this tavern I had visited back in 2016 and 2019, known for its Italian cured ham. It’s a shame that the staff who welcomed me back then is no longer there. Even so, the familiar taglieri ham platter and the richly flavored panini were just as delicious as I remembered. I couldn’t help but cheer in my mind. It feels so good to return to a place filled with memories.

02/07/2025: This restaurant is a real paradise! The pizzas are delicious and cooked to perfection, with fresh and high quality ingredients. But not only pizzas, also the grilled meat is spectacular! The staff is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is welcoming, I highly recommend trying their specialties, both pizza and grilled meat.

27/06/2025: Family atmosphere, the owner is an expert and passionate lover of grilled meat. The pizzas, however, are also tasty and digestible. The prices are in line with the quality of the dishes. The service is attentive and punctual. I go there often.
