12/10/2025: I asked for an ice cream cone, but they told me that if I wanted to sit outside, they could only give me the cup. I insisted, saying I didn't want the cup, but there was no way. I agreed, sat down outside, and saw that everyone sitting around me was all holding a cone. After half an hour, a waiter came out and pointed out to the people with cones that they could sit at the tables with the high chairs, since the ones with the low chairs were reserved for those with the cups. Aside from the unusual and extremely complicated system I'd never seen in any bar, they could have simply handed me the cone and told me to sit at the high tables, which apparently didn't have a cover charge. I therefore found it very unfair that I was forced to order something I didn't want just to charge me more. And then again, if they wanted to charge me a cover charge, I would have paid it anyway, but having ordered what I wanted. Instead, I paid €5 for a small cup.

09/09/2025: I wish I had more than 5 stars to give to this place. I discovered their rice gelato nearly 20 years ago and it is still as good today as it was that first time. It’s like they took an incredible rice pudding and froze it. I’ve never had gelato so good. On my last trip I went as many times as I could and still can’t get enough. The rice flavors especially blew my mind. The folks working here are very kind, and offer some unexpected but delightful pairing suggestions.

09/10/2025: Good morning, this morning I had breakfast. The maritozzo was dry and inedible, costing €5, the coffee €2.50, plus a €4 service charge. Never again. The price was unjustified for the poor quality of the food.

12/10/2025: It's possible. Even though it's Sunday lunchtime... the codfish "alla contadina" was excellent... and a stroke of luck... I found porcini mushrooms and chanterelles... I recommend the porcini salad if you like their aroma... always remember to ask if they're sautéed or whole for the roasted ones... you'll have to decide... otherwise, everything else was fine... The owners were super kind, and their staff even more so... I forgot about the view of Rome... perfect.

27/08/2025: I dined at this restaurant a few nights ago to try the Pinsa. The Hard-boiled Pinsa and the Capricciosa were terrible. All the ingredients were of the lowest quality, and overall, both Pinsas were disgusting! The ham was off-color, the salami slice was fatty and too thin, the tomato tasted like nothing, as did the artichoke, egg, and pancetta. Furthermore, they write on the menu that the water is microfiltered, but instead they served us slightly chilled water that tasted like tap water. Truly a terrible experience; I wonder how they can keep up with such disgusting food. I understand a tourist from the other side of the world who might not realize what they're eating (either because they're tired or hungry after a long day), but I hope a Roman will immediately realize that this is a place to avoid! Instead, I recommend the Pinsa at Gran Caffè Roma, which I tried a couple of weeks ago. The new management makes an exceptional Pinsa Amatriciana with quality ingredients and delicious tomatoes. Not like these makeshift ones. Photos and receipt attached.

02/10/2025: It's a pizzeria by the slice. The pizza, first courses, and second courses are excellent, with a different menu every day. For me, the pizza is the best in Rome.

15/10/2025: The menu is excellent, with dishes prepared with passion and dedication. The fully open kitchen is fascinating.

05/10/2025: What a pleasant discovery! I discovered this restaurant almost by chance and was truly impressed. The cuisine, both classic and contemporary, offers the chef's exclusive creations, distinguished by their creativity and flavor. Every dish, from appetizer to dessert, was a delight. ​Beyond the excellent quality of the food, a great strength is the atmosphere, with a location and decor meticulously crafted down to the last detail. Making the experience even more special is Andrea, the owner, whose passion and expertise make him a trusted advisor for a complete culinary journey. Finally, the wine list is extensive and well-stocked, perfect to complement every dish.

04/10/2025: A pleasant discovery, the place is truly lovely. I really liked the decor, the way the dishes are explained and presented, the menu choices were anything but predictable, and the attention to detail. You can tell they're passionate about their work. It was a wonderful experience.

03/10/2025: Although the restaurant is very small, or perhaps because of it, the atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming. The staff is warm and helpful. The food is good and the service is fast. Definitely recommended in the area.

25/08/2025: I found this restaurant near where I’m staying and honestly didn’t expect much at first—but wow, the food was absolutely delicious! If you want to try authentic local Italian dishes, I highly recommend coming here. I had the spaghetti and the “devil octopus,” and both were sooo good. On top of that, the staff were incredibly kind and made sure I had a great time with amazing food. They even gave me a gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. Definitely coming back again!

08/10/2025: We enjoyed the food, the wine, the atmosphere. The waiter was out of himself when we left a tip. The lady who was cooking did a very fine job, maybe adding a bit too much salt. We chose savory traditional dishes and were very pleased with it all, very tasty, simple, honest. Can recommend the sausage with potatoes, the pasta con vongole, the fresh salads.

03/10/2025: Yesterday, for my husband's birthday, we went to celebrate at Giggetto. An extraordinary experience: wonderful food, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service. I wholeheartedly recommend it... unless you reserve, it's difficult to find a spot on the veranda, where you can admire a breathtaking view of Lake Bolsena. We'll be back very soon.

02/10/2025: I've been going there for 50 years, it's always good, the management is still by the same family, now we've got the grandchildren, the ones who served me 50 years ago, and the food and service have even improved, plus the place is enchanting.

18/09/2025: The Funghi e Provola was the tastiest pizza in Rome. The service was very friendly, but apparently not used to English-speaking tourists (which wasn't a problem).
