28/03/2025: Unlike those places in the center, where they try to force you to eat there, this is a real Roman Doc Restaurant, near the Mausoleum of Augustus, the Ara Pacis and Via del Corso, not too visible and currently penalized by the work in progress. After two and a half years we returned with pleasure, Bombolotti all'Amtriciana always sublime, perhaps a little undercooked, very tasty Saltimbocca (1 portion divided by 2), with two waters of 0.70, and 2 coffees, in total 62 euros for two people, in the center of Rome, it is an excellent price, especially for the quality of the food. Friendly waiters, you can feel the atmosphere of Rome.

25/01/2025: What a wonderful find! A genuine local-family-owned business. Delicious home-cooked pizza and a lovely owner who was incredibly friendly, including to my dog who was treated to a small piece of pizza of her own ❤️❤️❤️❤️

15/04/2025: One beautiful summer morning my father and I decided to go for a walk and by pure chance we are thirsty so we go inside the restaurant and ask for a glass of water. The bartender tells us to drink from the fountain outside but the water is not drinkable. In all this I point out how selfish the owners are also because you can't let people drink from the fountain because they haven't bought something more expensive like a popsicle or a coffee.

12/03/2025: A disappointment, we ordered fries it was all burnt dark, bruschetta with tomato and basil arrived without basil and with bread all burnt black so we sent it back, calamari au gratin with baked potatoes didn't have much flavor for €22 I expected more better, pizza with mushrooms and sausage was ok. Service ok. Environment ok

15/02/2025: Good neighborhood pizzeria, nice place, new and clean. Good welcome and fast service. I found the supplì well made, hard grain, very good sauce, rice a little overcooked but overall good. The pizza is also good, tasty and light. I think they are very good at sauces... they left me satisfied.

08/01/2025: Although the prices for umbrella rental and meals are a little above average, it is an establishment where I have spent most of the summer for years, and I am fond of it. It tastes like home, and I would never change it. Although the beach is wide and full of umbrellas, there is not much confusion. It's fine. Compared to other large, chaotic establishments, Mogambo is well organized.

19/03/2025: My wife and I went in to get a little piece of pizza and were greeted by a very nice lady. While she was heating the pizza we had a couple of laughs. Excellent pizza, crispy crust and well seasoned. The shop is well looked after and the things on display are very attractive. Compliments

14/03/2025: My husband and I stopped for lunch. We ate spaghetti with clams, sea bream and stewed octopus. ....a goodness. The waiter (I assume he is also the owner) confessed to us that the cook is his sister 😂 and he doesn't want it to go to her head because she is good 🙏😂. I highly recommend!

10/04/2025: Siamo stati in prima serata. Eravamo tre adulti e due bambini e abbiamo preso un aperitivo. Cibo molto buono,locale davvero grazioso e personale molto professionale ma allo stesso tempo cordiale

10/03/2025: Really quiet place in the middle of nature, relaxing and pleasant. Everything was excellent, from the starters and desserts, and the waitresses were very kind! Fair account, highly recommended!

17/02/2025: There is not once that I am dissatisfied I have to say a place where you eat really well with a varied menu and you can find both fish and meat especially grilled meat the various types of cuts compare types of blender and different side dishes, the place is large to furnished the staff is friendly, the place offers a large car park outside which is located right in front of the church of Aranova. I recommend it

25/01/2025: La pianificazione dei take away è pessima e gestita da incompetenti. Ho atteso 1 ora per avere la preparazione delle pizze nonostante orario concordato con disagi a casa per chi mi aspettava. Complimenti per la bella figura che ho fatto.

17/01/2025: I've known this place since it opened over 20 years ago! The owner Manuela is still at the counter with her usual kindness! The pizza with prawns and the one with chicory are my favourites... for me it is still the best pizza by the slice in Rome!!!

Fin dal primo momento siamo stati accolti con una gentilezza rara: il personale è estremamente cordiale, attento e professionale, capace di farti sentire davvero a casa. Un aspetto che abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato è stata la trasparenza assoluta sul peso della carne, dichiarato con chiarezza e confermato al momento del servizio, cosa purtroppo non sempre scontata. Ma il vero trionfo è stata l’amatriciana: semplicemente strepitosa. Il guanciale croccante al punto giusto, il sugo ricco e saporito, e la pasta perfettamente al dente. Un piatto da standing ovation, che da solo varrebbe il viaggio. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca sapori autentici e un servizio impeccabile. Torneremo sicuramente!

12/04/2025: We went in for a coffee with my friend, seeing the "Illy" sign at the entrance. The owner asked us if we wanted to sit outside or inside. I said we wouldn't sit down, we just wanted to get a quick coffee at the counter. The owner rudely said that it was not possible to do this after realizing that we were tourists. Yet it is clearly indicated that there are two prices: one at the counter and one at the table.

04/04/2025: What a wonderful break from all the endless pasta and pizza places in Rome! The stuffed potatoes were so tasty and filling without making u feel heavy and the coffee was top notch quality! My first stop as soon as I’m back in Rome for sure.
