21/09/2025: Nestled in the woods, just a short distance from the CAI trails in the Lucretili Mountains. Outdoor seating is available. We ate tagliatelle richly topped with sausage and truffle, excellent. All the pasta was homemade, even the stuffed ones. We didn't order main courses, but the ones at nearby tables looked excellent. Homemade tiramisu was very good. Prices were absolutely LOW (tagliatelle €11, desserts €4). The staff were very polite and friendly. We'll definitely be returning!

09/10/2025: Negative Review – Lorella Restaurant/Pizzeria September 2025 • SOLO I've been ordering from this place since 2023, twice a week, always courteously and without ever complaining, even when the pizzas weren't ready at the agreed-upon time. Until July 2025, I considered myself a loyal customer. That evening, however, I received three pizzas burned on the bottom, with a very noticeable bitter taste. For the first time, with tact and respect, I asked if there was a problem with the oven, clarifying that I'd always been satisfied in the past. The owner's response? No apology, just arrogance: she said she'd made them herself and that they were perfect, even going so far as to send me a photo of her pizza, as if my opinion didn't matter. I've always waited patiently for my pizzas, even when I arrived on time and the owner was sitting at the table with her family having dinner, despite the restaurant's opening time being 6:00 PM. I've never complained. For personal reasons, I haven't ordered since July. Yesterday, I was finally able to resume my usual pizza routine and decided to return, hoping for a more professional welcome. Bad idea. Instead, I encountered the same smug and rude attitude. I politely asked her son if I could pay first so the pizzas wouldn't get cold, since I live quite a distance away. Instead of taking care of it, the owner arrived and arrogantly told me, "Check them first, so if there are any problems, you can report them right away." An unpleasant welcome, to say the least—as if she were assuming I'd complain again. And as if that weren't enough, the same order that I'd always paid €24 suddenly went up to €30, without any explanation. I'm sorry to say this, but I'll never set foot in that place again—and I told them so straight away. It's not enough to know how to make pizza: you need to respect your customers, especially the loyal ones. It's not a complaint that ruins a relationship, but the way you choose to respond. I never questioned the price or asked for discounts or special treatment. I could have paid more, but that certainly wasn't the point. The problem was the way I was treated, with a lack of respect that a customer—loyal or otherwise—should never receive. I have never allowed myself to mistreat anyone or be disrespectful. In fact, I have always paid for and respected the work of others. But respect must be mutual. Writing a review means sharing an experience, for better or for worse. Respect, however, should remain the foundation of discussion, something that unfortunately was completely lacking in your message. Perhaps you should examine your conscience before gratuitously accusing someone who simply shares their experience. A negative review isn't a personal attack: it's an opinion. His response, however, is. Good luck. PS: Did I ask for more pistachios? Yes! But I didn't ask for mortadella... Did I ask for porcini mushrooms? Yes! But I didn't ask for artichokes. 26/08/2025: Very cute and rustic place. The portions are very generous, so be careful how much you order. The waiter was very friendly 😊

16/10/2025: Unfortunately, the two ribs arrived cold. The tartare was supposed to have truffle shavings, but instead there were only two. The rest of the dish consisted of truffle oil that masked the flavor of the meat. The battered vegetables were awful, with large chunks of boiled vegetables full of water covered in a very heavy batter. The chicory was very stringy. Overall, we only appreciated the quality of the meat (it's a shame it wasn't served at the right temperature) and the desserts (the tart was very good, the tiramisu had too much coffee and not enough cream).

04/10/2025: Too bad.... Because in an area like this, I expected top-notch service... The food was very good, but the flaws were in the presentation of the young man on duty and also in the way the food was distributed on the plate... Unfortunately, given the price, I definitely won't be back...

10/10/2025: We found this place two days ago and we went to that place twice. Food was absolutely amazing and really enjoyed the Pappardelle “Alla Donati” and Tonnarelli “Cacio E Pepe”. Alessio who was very friendly, recommended us the food and we could never forget Suppli (Nudja). Finally, make sure that you try Thiramusu and Crème Brulee.. If you visit this place, ask for Alessio, you wouldn’t regret with his recommendations.

25/07/2025: Dinner with family and friends, a lovely outdoor setting, a family atmosphere, the waiters were very polite and attentive, the food was good, the pinsa was quality, the appetizers very tasty. I'd probably leave out the tripe and coppa, for a matter of taste. It won't please everyone. Next time, we'll try the first courses; the prices are a little above average.

14/10/2025: Very large and welcoming place, we ordered two Neapolitan-style pizzas and I must say that the dough was very good with quality ingredients.

14/10/2025: A truly enjoyable experience! The place is welcoming and the food excellent. We ordered meat, pizza, and pasta, and everything was delicious. But what made the evening special was the kindness and professionalism of Federica, a truly excellent waitress. Always smiling, attentive to every detail, and available to recommend dishes and wines with expertise and kindness. It's rare to find such attentive and genuine service. I'll definitely be back!!

14/10/2025: A coffee shop near the Vatican, with a hot latte for €4.50, tasted OK. It's close to tourist attractions and perfect for a break. The staff were friendly, and even if you didn't make a purchase, you could still use the restroom if you asked.

20/10/2025: Terrible. Dirty glasses. We asked the waiter three times to change them, but he just wouldn't budge. I had to get up and ask everyone for permission because the tables were all stuck together. The bathroom was in terrible condition, and the fried food was full of oil. It's a real shame.

19/10/2025: There's a bald, skinny waiter who doesn't pay any attention to you. While other tables got their pizzas in 5 minutes, we waited 30 minutes, and it wasn't that crowded. He snapped when we asked questions. This waiter made our experience a terrible one.

10/10/2025: If you want to eat fresh, good fish without going to the beach, this is the place to go. I've never had any problems or disappointments. Everything is always excellent and plentiful.

03/09/2025: They called asking if we were arriving, and we'd been at the table for 20 minutes. The entrees were brought half an hour apart. I told them not to bring my entree since half an hour had passed, and they brought it the same one, and it was cold. The meat was good, but it arrived an hour later, cooked differently than requested, and after they served us, no one was left in the dining room, so we ate without bread or napkins. In all this, only one table had finished eating...

27/08/2025: Wonderful! We took the opportunity to visit the Fountain of Lucullus and read the story of the legend that gave him his name. The restaurant has been renovated over the years; it was already there almost 40 years ago, obviously different. Today it's a clean wooden structure that fits in with the surrounding environment. The food was truly expertly cooked with exceptional raw ingredients. I had the wild boar pappardelle, which was nothing short of phenomenal; the quail, amazing; and the grilled wild boar. Obviously, it's a tough meat cooked that way, but being high-quality, even if it was hard to chew, it was delicious! The staff was very helpful. We'll be back.
