21/02/2025: Another incredible meal.... we just let Alfredo order for us and it was fabulous. Food, wine, service, atmosphere were amazing. Frascati is such a wonderful place to stay when visiting Rome and Il Grottino is the place to eat! See you in June 2025!

30/11/2024: Pranzo veloce trasformato in Odissea. Ordinato antipasto e secondo senza glutine.. Due primi piatti normali.. Al primo servizio antipasto con bruschetta totalmente sbagliato per celiaco. Faccio notare la problematica e mi cambiano l antipasto e per la terza volta la cameriera chiede di nuovo ordine. Tagliata sevita e dopo 45 m niente poi ci decidiamo di andare a saldare nonostante mancano 2 primi nel conto ci sono i due primi non servito facciamo notare l'accaduto e con stupore ci dicono possibile non è stato servito? E niente prima ed ultima volta. Peccato

30/11/2024: We went there at 1.30pm, nice and welcoming place, fair prices looking at the menu, nothing to say, but the service was completely wrong and inefficient, after declaring that one of us was celiac there was a succession of wrong orders , bringing the person with celiac disease an appetizer with slices of bruschetta attached despite the impossibility of consuming gluten having been declared several times, but the problem was solved by bringing another appetizer immediately after this once carried out correctly, we were explicitly asked to bring a cut in an earthenware dish for the celiac instead of bringing it in the wooden dish precisely to avoid gluten contamination since the wood can absorb it, 2 minutes later the cut for the celiac arrived in........... Wooden plate contrary to what was explicitly asked for in advance. After 45 minutes of waiting for our 2 first courses while the celiac person had finished eating the cut on a wooden plate, we realized that our first courses would not arrive also because while we were waiting to be served other customers arrived who were served with the same first courses we had ordered. At that point we got up, paid and cordially left with a bad taste in our mouths, we were very sorry. Terrible service.

06/01/2025: I stayed one night in this fabulous place. The owners Piera and Gioacchino were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable with attention to the smallest details. I took advantage of the half board formula, abundant breakfast and excellent dinner. I recommend trying the strozzapreti with wild boar ragù. Nothing to say, everything perfect.

29/12/2024: I called to say if we had left an envelope there and they had found it they said they would call me back zero, I came back and found it in the bins all the stuff destroyed

26/01/2025: We ate really well, the place is very nice and well-kept inside, we stayed outside because today was a beautiful day. They don't have many tables outside but they look directly onto the sea with a beautiful view and games on the sand to entertain the children. The menu doesn't have a lot of choice but it is quite varied, in the sense that they have excellent fish and meat dishes, pizza and, only for dinner, burgers. We had the spaghetti with seafood. They were excellent and abundant both in quantity and in the fish seasoning. After a fried calamari, also very abundant. Prices are average. The only flaw was the slightly slow service but it must be said that the staff was very small and given the period it can be understood very well. Excellent we will definitely return and highly recommended if you don't know where to eat in Tarquinia lido. We didn't try the homemade desserts which looked very good. Today we tried the pizza, it's excellent. We went back today, always a great choice.

26/01/2025: Pranzetto bellissimo, locale rinnovato molto accogliente fronte mare :)) molto buoni i moscardini e i spaghetti con le vongole ma cotta a puntino la grigliata di pesce. Servizio in sala ottimo, tutto a gestione Familiare. Rapporto prezzo/qualità giusto. A presto :)))) e grazie della vostra ospitalità:)

14/02/2025: We had lunch today in a splendid location on the beach. We were greeted with elegance by the owner and served by very professional and empathetic dining room staff. We tasted and appreciated dishes that were very well cooked and presented with care and art. Very tasty first courses (tonnarelli with seafood and tonnarelli with crab, walnuts and radicchio), second courses prepared and presented with refinement and excellent taste (fried calamari with prawns and pepegna in a pan with white wine) as well as good side dishes. Slightly sparkling wine from the Divina Provvidenza winery, which set the tone for the refinement of the dishes served. Excellent experience enhanced by a marine environment of absolute beauty. Absolutely positive experience. Compliments!

08/12/2024: Con la mia famiglia frequento questo locale da circa otto anni e ci siamo sempre trovati bene. Il locale è bellissimo, elegante e spazione, mentre il cibo è di qualità e cucinato benissimo. Completa il tutto un ottimo servizio e la splendida vista sul mare.

28/12/2024: Passing through Monte Livata we had lunch at this restaurant... what can I say, despite the raw materials being of a good standard, the trout and pork loin were half raw, with no excuses for time in the rush to cook since the place was half empty .... too bad, the staff is friendly but cooking is not their thing.

09/12/2024: I'm at home in Jenne, my parents were born there and every year I spent at least a month in the summer, but I don't remember ever having been here, let's say I only knew it by name. Now I met him, for lunch. A very comfortable, well-kept and welcoming place, starting with those who welcomed us. Friendliness, courtesy, punctual and professional service, but with the right touch of Jennese familiarity, which makes you feel "at home". A certainly optimal mix, which allowed us to spend a certainly pleasant half day, eating very well, in an environment that promotes harmony in every way, with a table full of notable gastronomic contents. Compliments! We will return and will certainly favor those looking for friendliness, courtesy and high-quality gastronomy. 😉👍💪

05/09/2024: Recommended by a friend. But disappointed with the buffet, there wasn't much left when we arrived despite our reservation. The boss offered us a basic menu which cost us a lot at the end. Too bad we traveled more than 50km on fairly bumpy roads to get there.
