02/06/2026: We spent a delightful evening with friends. The service was prompt and extremely courteous, the food was excellent, both the plaza and the other dishes. The outdoor seating was a welcome escape from the heat, and the atmosphere was relaxed and conducive to conversation. From the front terrace, there was a stunning view, with the sea on the horizon.

30/05/2026: I learned about this place through a friend, though I was curious because I'd often seen it while driving along the Appian Way. It's already a visually appealing place: it has outdoor seating and, of course, nice, comfortable indoor dining rooms. We were welcomed and served by the owners, who were very polite, informal, and professional. We had appetizers and pizza (Roman-style), although they offer a fairly varied menu, and even though I'm from Campania, I found it very enjoyable. The quality/price ratio is fair, and I'll definitely be back—that's all I have to say!

I'd say typically Roman... very digestible... we tried two... they were quite large... but I can confirm they were very digestible. The desserts are also very good... their dry pastries are a delight... accompanied by a typical liqueur... WELL DONE, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...

The restaurant staff were kind and friendly, ready to help us outside of the restaurant service, when we had to carry the stroller inside the house where we stayed, which had terrifying stairs. 16/05/2026: "Lean" and sparse panzanella. Pappardelle with wild boar sauce that tasted like it came straight from a jar. Delicious ravioli with vegetables, ricotta, and asparagus. Good meat-based appetizer. Cantucci dessert, only 2 pieces.

29/03/2026: Nice place and very pleasant atmosphere. The staff is very young, efficient, and friendly. The appetizer options are interesting, but some could be improved, especially the tartare, which is minced too finely and undermines the meat.

05/11/2025: This restaurant took me back in time. It felt like I was in one of those old trattorias from the 80s and 90s. We were a little hesitant to go in, but it was a truly pleasant surprise. The traditional Roman first courses were delicious, cooked in a slightly old-fashioned way, without carbocreme, etc. The meat was excellent, grilled. I was truly satisfied. I will definitely be back, especially since I'd like to try the pizza, which I was very attracted to by its appearance. In short, a truly excellent restaurant for those who like old-fashioned cuisine, not too elaborate but more substantial.

11/07/2026: A must-try for authentic cuisine in the castles nestled in the cool of the woods and greenery of Nemi...when it's scorching hot in Rome, escaping and enjoying a plate of pasta or grilled meat al fresco is priceless...

06/06/2026: Almost a 2-hour wait (we left without eating). They still charged us 17 euros 😂😂 for 2 fried foods, 2 Cokes, and a water we hadn't even ordered 😂😂 The waiters' behavior was especially terrible... no apologies, zero interest in the customer despite the wait and despite the fact that we weren't the only ones who had complained, and above all, they were always among themselves behind the counter, on the phone, or chatting. Even worse was the behavior of one of the owners (?), who probably didn't even show up. He also offered no apologies, and in fact, he became defensive, questioning my words, coming across as rude and completely unpleasant. I'm sorry, expectations were high. A disappointment from every perspective. DO NOT ENTER THERE.

18/07/2026: One star. I still don't know exactly what happened to Ella, but since I've been there, I don't trust bananas anymore. Upon entering, the door looked as if it already knew me, even though I had never been there before. That immediately set a strange tone. Ella itself acted as if everything was normal, but meanwhile, the floor felt surprisingly horizontal. At one point, a chair started behaving like an emotional potato. No one seemed to find that strange, except for the plant in the corner, which clearly aspired to a career as a traffic controller. The conversation went strangely too. I didn't ask any questions, yet I received three answers, two of which tasted like cinnamon. The clock was running backward, or perhaps forward, but in any case, not in a way my shoes felt comfortable with. The atmosphere was simultaneously blue and crisp. My coat hung on a coat rack that clearly would rather be a giraffe. When I walked outside, a cloud looked at me with disappointment, and my keys suddenly seemed to speak Spanish. I can't say it was bad, but I can't say it was good either. Actually, I can only say that my right eyebrow has felt differently about bell peppers ever since. Next time I'll bring a compass, a watermelon, and maybe a lawyer. Not for a lawsuit, but just to be on the safe side. One star, because the moon didn't blink back.

18/07/2026: An extremely disappointing experience. The lamb chops were almost entirely made up of bones and fat; there was very little meat. For the price, you'd expect much more. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and asked for a refund, I was refused. The explanation was that "it's always like this in Rome." I find this excuse absurd. I've been to Rome several times and have often eaten lamb chops that actually had an adequate amount of meat. It's a shame my complaint wasn't taken seriously. For this reason, I won't be returning.
