We have been frequenting Ancore for a few years. Excellent food, fresh fish, excellent service.

Our experience at Le Ancore in Lavinio Mare was a true journey through the flavors of Italian tradition. Sandro and Marina, longtime owners of the renowned Fogher in Anzio, run a restaurant that has been captivating their customers with professionalism and heart for nearly 40 years with passion, experience, and extraordinary dedication. Their presence makes every visit special, as their love for their craft and attention to detail is immediately evident. From traditional seafood cuisine to wood-fired pizzas, every dish tells a story of tradition, quality, and authenticity. The aroma of the oven, the freshness of the ingredients, and the meticulous preparation make every course memorable. Personally, I opted for a seafood salad followed by a delicious fried calamari parcel accompanied by focaccia. What struck me about this place is that everything seems stuck in the '80s, when everything was better and going to a restaurant was a great event for the whole family. We recommend this experience to anyone who wants to savor the true essence of Italian seafood cuisine, accompanied by an excellent wood-fired pizza, in an environment rich in history, passion, and tradition. A well-deserved five stars.

Right now, we're about to enjoy a dessert. We started with a seafood mix: spaghetti with clams, fried calamari and shrimp, and sautéed broccoli. What can I say...the palate is thrilled!

Very nice location, the food wasn't bad, it's a shame there were 5 of us and the waiter told us that you couldn't order 5 different starters unless the table was large, but it didn't matter, we ate anyway. The tonnarelli allo scoglio were good, the hot pasta and the seafood on top were completely cold. As a side dish, the chicory was unfortunately cold. Anyway, nice location, I highly recommend it.

We ordered a mixed antipasto, a scampi cream risotto, tagliolini allo scoglio, crema catalana, and a sour cherry tart: everything was truly excellent, carefully prepared and flavorful. The staff was kind and very helpful, even though we had two dogs with us, which was truly appreciated. This is my second time at this restaurant and I've always had a great experience. I'll definitely be back!

The pizza is very good, more Roman-style, kind, helpful and friendly, excellent prices
