We had a set menu dinner with a car rally. Delicious food. Superb carbomatriciana and incredibly tender roast beef. The owner, Walter, does his job with professionalism, kindness, and a natural charm. We spent three days in and around Albano, and the best cuisine was his. See you next time!

As soon as you enter, you immediately feel the genuine, warm atmosphere that lets you know you're in the right place. The service is impeccable: attentive, smiling, and prompt without being intrusive, the staff offer expert advice and make every customer feel truly welcome. The food is the real star. The ingredients are excellent, and in every dish you can sense the care and attention to detail of a cuisine that seeks not to impress with artifice, but with authenticity and rich flavors. From the homemade pasta to the perfectly cooked meats, to the traditional side dishes and desserts, everything is prepared with a sure hand and evident passion. The portions are generous, the presentation simple yet meticulous, and each course arrives at the table in perfect time. The overall experience is truly top-notch, so much so that it immediately makes you want to return. However, the final bill is slightly higher than the local average. It's not excessive, but it's enough to impact the overall rating. For this reason, while acknowledging the excellent quality of the cuisine and service, my final rating is 4 out of 5 stars.

Hospitality and Outstanding Food! A true gem in Albano Laziale! The experience at Dar Contadino was exceptional. The location is very charming, and the warm welcome immediately created a truly pleasant atmosphere. But the real highlight is the food: I found the food to be out of this world in terms of quality and flavor. The tagliata di carne was fabulous, one of the best I've ever eaten. I highly recommend trying the first courses and appetizers (the fried dishes were perfect!). If you're in the area, a stop here is a must. I'll definitely be back!

Everything was quite good and well-cooked. Prices were perhaps a little higher. I'd seal the windows better, because you end up with freezing drafts behind your head.
