19/10/2025: Terrible. After 20 minutes of sitting down, they didn't even come to ask if we were ready. They didn't give us menus, but rather a large board. As soon as we walked in, seeing no one, we tried to ask where we could sit, but we received a very rude response. I only saw two waiters, who clearly avoided serving us, and the menu was very basic, with dishes that could easily be made at home, nothing special or typical of the area. We won't be returning.

08/11/2025: Very busy place but you're still serviced reasonably quick. A good choice of sandwiches, ciabattas, sweets and drinks. Seating places can be difficult eventually but if you are patient you will most probably get one soon. The coffee ☕️ cappuccinos and hot chocolate varieties are good and quality as well. Nearby office staff seem to rush in during their breaks and that's only a good sign. Well done 👏

23/10/2025: Elegant and welcoming restaurant with a large, well-kept private park where you can stop and stroll. The menu is carefully selected for the quality of the raw materials and the simple yet meticulous preparation of the dishes, especially the fish ones. The service is attentive to the customer's needs and always courteous and helpful. Fair prices.

09/11/2025: Last night around 8am, I went with my brother for two takeaway kebabs. Initially, we were told we'd have a 15-minute wait, which was perfectly normal for a Saturday night. But after waiting 10 minutes, we were again told they couldn't make the kebab. This would have been normal if we were told this initially, but making them wait wasn't a good idea, and that's why I had a bad experience at this place.

12/07/2025: We stopped here to grab a bite to eat on the way home. It was a truly unique experience! The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Vito (a true gem) made us some delicious panzerotti that made us want to stay in Puglia. Plus, the owner offered us other delicacies to try. I recommend this place not only for the food but also for the kindness of the entire staff. The horse meat panzerotto was truly something special. If there were 10 stars, I'd give it all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

20/04/2025: During our trip in Puglia, we had the pleasure of dining at Il Grifone, a true hidden gem that offers an authentic Italian experience. From the moment we stepped in, we felt the warmth of a family-run place where passion and tradition are at the heart of everything. We started with their homemade Arancini – crispy on the outside, perfectly creamy on the inside – the kind that instantly tells you it’s made with love. Then came the pizzas: the spicy Vesuvio, bursting with bold flavors; the mortadella and stracciatella combo, rich and indulgent; and the bresaola pizza, a delicate balance of savory and fresh. Each dough was light and airy, with just the right crunch – clearly made in-house and with care. What sets Il Grifone apart is the soul they put into every dish. All ingredients are homemade or locally sourced, and you can taste the difference in every bite. It’s not just a place to eat, it’s a place to feel at home. If you’re in Puglia and craving true Italian pizza made with heart, this is the place to be.

14/11/2025: Terrible experience, never again. We arrived at Tiburtina station around 2:30 and, looking for a quick bite to eat, found this place that was open until 3:00. To be safe, I called the restaurant: the very kind owner answered, telling me they could only prepare a pasta dish for us, as long as we arrived by 3:00. We agreed and immediately set off, literally running for almost a kilometer. We arrived at 2:45, asked for a table for two, and the waiter immediately told us it was too late. We explained that we had spoken to the owner and that he had given us the okay. The waiter went to the kitchen to ask for confirmation but returned saying it wasn't possible. At that point, we insisted, remembering the phone call from a few minutes earlier, and shortly afterward the chef arrived... and slammed the door in our faces, telling us to leave. I called the owner back to explain the situation: he put me on hold to speak to the staff, then called back to say that everything had been cleared up and we could come back for dinner. Obviously, we never went back. We wasted more than half an hour and made a pointless rush, only to be met with rude and unprofessional behavior.

10/11/2025: Lunch menu for €5: first course of the day (amatriciana, carbonara, gricia, or cacio e pepe), a quarter of wine, half a cup of water, and coffee. Excellent pasta, al dente but not tough, flavorful without overdoing the pepper. We recommend arriving early, as there are only a few seats; otherwise, you'll have to wait outside.

16/09/2025: Welcoming, always delicious food and very fresh fish, practically on the beach, reasonable prices... you couldn't ask for more...

13/09/2025: A pleasant late-summer lunch. A few menu items were missing (bruschetta with clams and tiramisu were unavailable), but the quality of the dishes was good. The grilled octopus was excellent, tender and flavorful on a bed of eggplant, and the salt-baked potatoes were also very good. Overall, a positive experience.
