04/07/2026: L'Appiolo restaurant is pleasantly immersed in nature. On these scorching days, you can find refreshment and relaxation in a carefully curated setting, respecting local flavors and traditions. Sourdough bread pairs perfectly with the rich Appiolo appetizer and all the must-have mopping up the bread! I highly recommend the ravioli with buffalo ricotta and spinach, as well as the tagliata (a sliced steak), and to finish, a berry tartlet or a trio of tarts with homemade jams.

27/07/2026: I discovered it by chance, it recently changed ownership, but I immediately became a fan.
The pizza is excellent, perfectly crunchy and well-cooked. So far I've tried the Margherita, then the zucchini, the marinara, and a white mozzarella version with zucchini flowers. All truly delicious.
The guy at the counter is very friendly and kind. Try it, try it, and try it again. 🙂
18/07/2026: Truly excellent pizza! The dough is thin, light, and very digestible, and the ingredients are top-quality. After trying several pizzerias in the area, this is undoubtedly my favorite. Kudos also to Christian, who is always kind and helpful with customers. He also listened to customer suggestions by adding fries to the menu, which weren't initially available. Highly recommended!

02/05/2026: I dined here last night. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food was good. However, the restaurant is absolutely not suitable for celiacs: there are no gluten-free options, not even the most basic ones like packaged bread. This is an area that definitely needs improvement.
02/05/2026: Very nice atmosphere, large dining room, but the food leaves much to be desired. A platter of fried food seemed reheated. The gnocchi with ragù sauce originated far away (see photo).
The parmesan and arugula were rubbery. I asked for it to be cooked medium rare, but it was brought raw (see photo). The bill was reasonable, and the staff were very friendly.
It might be okay for an evening, but not much else.

12/04/2026: I had a wonderful experience at the Hotel Garibaldi. The hotel is very charming and the staff is excellent. I dined at their restaurant and was impressed: excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere (the panoramic view from the terrace is an incredible added bonus!). Reading other reviews, I had high expectations regarding the food and cleanliness, and I can confirm that they were all met.

09/02/2026: From the welcome to the dessert, lunch at Porto Fluviale is an experience I recommend to everyone!
The restaurant is spacious and beautifully decorated (in keeping with the urban, industrial context of the early 1900s). The professional and friendly staff seated us and invited us to choose between a buffet lunch (fixed price) or à la carte. Tasty appetizers, delicious first courses, and finally... the best tiramisu we've ever had!
Congratulations! We hope to return soon!

12/07/2026: This was our 3rd separate visit to this quintessential Roman pizzeria. Super thin and crispy crust pies that have kept us coming back time after time. If and when we are in Rome again, we will definitely be back to da Baffetto. Plus it’s close to Piazza Novona and very cool area. Highly recommend it.

16/06/2026: Top notch! Friendliness and professionalism first and foremost. All the professionalism a place like this deserves! The prices are high and the variety of food is inadequate (personal opinion). I agree that it's not an easy place to eat (low tables), but they need more options for snacks rather than dinner.
Anyway, everything was good and beautiful in a charming setting, with extraordinary musical evenings.
The real highlight was the "amaro" offered, but it wasn't a amaro; I invite you to try it. 😋👍🏻
