16/05/2026: We discovered this place in November 2025, and since then we've been back several times, both for lunch and for pizza in the evening. What can I say...it's a shame we didn't discover it sooner!! Mr. Giancarlo is a very kind person, as are his staff. Highly recommended!!

10/05/2026: A marvelous place. Comida casara muy rica. A very familiar restaurant and the people who looked forward to us, very well, the waitress recommended me as brilliant and was very pleasant. Sin duda volvería. If you don't speak Italian, have paper in English and if you don't speak more languages, a detail, even if you understand everything perfectly. And you can't stop without tasting tiramisu, simply delicious, with a suave flavor and an unmejorable texture. A wonderful place. Very good homemade food. A restaurant with a very familiar atmosphere and the staff who assisted us were excellent; the waitress gave me great advice and was very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again. In case you don't speak Italian, they have the menu in English and I don't know if it's in other languages, which is a nice touch, even though everything is perfectly understandable. And you can't leave without trying their tiramisu: simply delicious, with a delicate flavor and an unbeatable texture.

11/04/2026: A bad experience. It took us about an hour to eat two plates of pasta and one plate of fries. From the moment we walked in, no one from the staff or the management deigned to smile; they almost seemed disturbed by our presence. The only person who smiled was a gentleman at the counter next to our table, who, however, as if nothing had happened, lit a cigarette and then went outside to smoke it. The pasta dishes were good, but the bill was high for the service provided. 50 euros for a bottle of water, one packet of fries, one plated fries, and two plates of pasta seems like a rip-off.

01/04/2026: I use to come here with my classmates for special occasions when we were studying abroad in Rome. Twentyfive years later I brought my family for dinner, and it hasn't changed one bit! Still as delicious as ever. Patient with the language barrier. Ask for recommendations if you aren't certain about something, but do try the strawberry tiramisu. You won't be disappointed!

05/05/2026: We ate lunch here twice, and each time the pasta dishes were delicious! The carbonara was fantastic! Attentive service, cozy and central location.

26/04/2026: We stopped for a spritz and stayed for dinner at this typical Roman restaurant. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, and the restaurant is simple but very charming. The menu offers a wide selection of traditional Roman dishes, each one better than the last, and the prices are average. We had a wonderful evening and left satisfied with our dinner. Highly recommended!

08/06/2026: The food was very good, although I've had better pasta. I ordered the carbora, which I found a bit salty. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and the location. The service was excellent.

07/06/2026: I ordered a farro salad with vegetables to go. The waiter told me they could make it for me, express service, just a bit of a wait. In the end, the service was very quick, but unfortunately the farro was rancid. For the modest sum of €11.50, I got spoiled farro, evidently prepared with low-quality ingredients or even kept out of the refrigerator. Two stars only because the waiter who served me was very kind, but the quality was terrible.

22/05/2026: I didn't expect to eat at a food station of this quality, highly recommended, excellent pasta served in the pan, friendly and kind staff. If I return to Rome I will definitely stop again

08/06/2026: Great food, and really inexpensive. Staff are great with visitors who don't speak much Italian too. If you're staying st the AC Marriott up the street and looking for a decent bite when the hotel restaurant is closed, this place is a two minute walk away and you can't go wrong ejth it.

05/04/2026: You're losing loyal customers to earn a few cents. Today you made me pay for things not on the menu (which were discounted on the menu). It's not the money that matters, as I told you at the register, but the gesture! Then you pretended nothing happened. The food was good and the waiters were always kind; I've been your customer for years. You steal from the receipts and you should be ashamed of yourself. The kind lady at the register pretended she hadn't given me the receipt before paying, and when I came back to tell her she'd overcharged me. Shame on you! I just wanted to let you know that we're not stupid, and with a few cents I won't become poor, while you remain poor (and I'm not referring to the money).

16/05/2026: The service is terrible, except for the guy. Even though I don't speak their language, l've seen them look at me and make fun of me and comment on my English :) If we care not only about good food but also about nice service, this is definitely not the place to go.

16/05/2026: If you are staying in the Corniglia area, I recommend visiting. I had breakfast here on both occasions during my stay. The cappuccino and pastries were delicious. It is also conveniently located near the subway and buses.
