02/10/2025: The food was very heavy and oily. But what we really did not like was that we ordered a glass of white wine and were given a very expensive one, once we ordered another one we got a different one, also expensive. Both times they just finished an already open bottle. The price we only discovered upon payment. Otherwise the service was nice and attentive, the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice.

15/05/2025: Ambiente molto curato, chef Daniele appassionato del suo lavoro e accogliente con gli ospiti ci ha fatto gustare la vera amatriciana sia bianca che rossa assolutamente spettacolare. Siamo arrivati con due cani, accolti amorevolmente. Consigliatissimo.

14/08/2025: We were a group of three friends looking for a restaurant in Grottaferrata for dinner. We considered three or four within a 100-meter radius, but none of them were entirely convincing. Finally, we found La Roncola, which had a high rating and was well-regarded by many, and we set off. Since a young woman with us had dietary restrictions, we looked for the menu at the entrance to clear up any doubts, but we couldn't find one. Tired of searching further, however, we requested a table and sat down. After a few minutes, we were asked if we'd like water, which was promptly brought to us. A few more minutes passed, and a waitress came to our table and asked if we were ready to order. We told her we weren't ready yet because no one had brought us menus, and she promptly replied that there were no menus and that she would list the dishes available for that evening: four or five appetizers, four or five first courses, three second courses, and a few side dishes. Puzzled by the lack of a menu but hungry, we considered ordering two or three appetizers to share, but were told we couldn't split the appetizer because it included all the listed courses, and that if we thought it was too much, we could order a single course at most. Puzzled by the refusal, we decided to order just one appetizer anyway (even though we would have ordered more), choosing one main course from the three available, and three side dishes. In short: one water, one appetizer (three meatballs), three strips (200g of grilled meat seasoned with oil and salt, €25 per dish), three side dishes, and one coffee cost us a whopping €100. Since the bill didn't seem fair for what we'd eaten, we pointed out that restaurants are required to display a menu, so they can give customers the option to choose whether or not to order. We were told that if we asked for the menu, we would have it. A truly irritating attitude. To top it all off, we paid part of the bill in cash, and of course, there was no receipt.

Today my boyfriend and I called at 7 PM and ordered two pizzas for 8:20 PM, asking for the crust filled with stracchino cheese. At 8:20 PM we got there and not only were the pizzas not made, we were told "oh well, we forgot," but we were also told that the stracchino cheese was no longer available. But I say... call and let us know out of RESPECT AND POLITE, right??? You made us get out, get in the car, and drive all the way there for what?? You often complain about people, about dishonest customers who order and don't show up, but you are no exception! You didn't even have the decency to let us know. Terrible.

09/08/2025: We spent a very unique full moon evening sitting inside the smallest restaurant in the world. The food was good, the service was very attentive and warm hearted.

17/12/2025: We've never felt ripped off like we did at this bar. The prices are crazy, with NO INFORMATION, and NO DISPLAYED PRICES. If you touch the table, the prices double. I've never seen anything like it, not even in fancy places. A €4 cappuccino and a stuffed white pizza were asked to go from €4.50 to €7 because I dared to eat at the table. A €2.20 Coke became €4.50. Be careful ⚠️ before setting foot in this place. These dumps shouldn't exist; they're a disgrace to this city.

31/10/2025: The four of us came with our dog to get away from the crowded Piazza del Popolo. The small shop immediately caught our eye because many students from the music school across the street were having lunch there. We were very satisfied with the quality of the food (pizzas, sandwiches, tiramisu for dessert, and coffee), the service, and the prices.

20/05/2025: We chose Eppy for my son's communion! Everything was perfect! Service, organization and food were all impeccable! The guests were very happy also because the children were pampered and had a lot of fun in their play area, which is also supervised by the fantastic and very patient girls, and they were able to relax! Fulvio was really veeeery patient in accommodating all my requests and we will never stop thanking him! I'm just sorry that I can only give 5 stars because he really deserves the best!

09/04/2025: An English message is going to follow the Italian one. for those looking for a place for a quiet evening with family or friends in the safety of the children being just a few steps away and under the watchful eye of a handful of welcoming boys and girls who collaborate with the restaurant to entertain the little ones while the adults relax. mothers are still welcome at the playground if they wish. the place is welcoming, very friendly staff. the menu is made up of small samples to be collected at the counter. we had a good time and will return. Very recommended. for those looking for a place for a quiet evening with family or friends in the safety of knowing that the children are just a few steps away and under the watchful eye of a handful of welcoming boys and girls who work with the restaurant to entertain the little ones while the adults relax. mothers are still welcome at the playground if they wish. the place is welcoming, very friendly staff. the menu is made up of small tastings to pick up at the counter. we had a good time and will return.
