06/04/2025: Saturday lunch, beautiful sun, outdoor tables, very kind service, friendly welcome, very fresh fish, excellent raw fish, we took the first courses and ate them with gusto. Fair price, we will definitely return

29/07/2024: A pearl in the alleys of Trastevere... a cozy and welcoming place, the owner was very courteous to us and immediately put us at ease, we entrusted ourselves to him for the dishes and we were very happy with it, everything was very good and the matching wine was perfect to accompany the dishes. Both my wife and I were delighted and there is no doubt that we will return.

13/07/2024: This place is CLOSED!!! We visited Rome for the second time this year and part of our plans was to return to this restaurant based on an amazing experience we had from back in January. Went there today but the place was closed and up for sale :(

31/03/2025: Sono andato a pranzo per mangiare come mangio giornalmente in un posto di passaggio per lavoro. Si presenta bene con cibo casareccio, poi quando spendi 35 E.per un antipasto ed un secondo con contorno capisci che sono cifre da non spendere a pranzo.

24/11/2024: Sono stata in questa pizzeria a taglio sabato scorso. Onestamente essendo la zona molto turistica ero preparata al peggio ma noi avevamo bisogno solo di Di mangiare qualcosa velocemente. L’esperienza è stata al contrario più che soddisfacente: Il locale molto carino e ben curato, Il ragazzo al banco educato, gentile e sorridente e la Pizza eccezionale!!! La verità è che mi dispiace solo che sia così lontano da casa mia altrimenti sarei tornata molto più spesso!!! Bravi!

04/03/2025: Nice and welcoming place, if I really have to make a note I would do it to the waitress... we order some sandwiches she tells us the names and by a show of hands we get them... we start eating and then we realize that a friend of mine is eating mine, while I have his... the menu and the products should be the first thing the waiters need to know. Only note, everything else is fine

20/11/2024: From 5 and that's it. At Zio you drink excellent beer, you eat delicious sandwiches, pinsas and plates. Zio's friendliness is unique, two laughs are guaranteed. Nice room covered in wood, very warm. The upper floor has a view towards the floor below. The entrance is beautiful with the tables outside and under a huge oak tree that covers the entire external area. What can I say, the best place to eat and drink

10/12/2024: Supongo que ahora es una buena señal cuando el menú está solo en italiano y el camarero no habla mucho inglés. De todos modos, esta Osteria está justo fuera de las puertas romanas cerca de Villa Borghese. Servicio amable con suficiente inglés que la mayoría de los que no hablan italiano pueden arreglárselas. Fuimos capaces de averiguar lo que necesitábamos y tuvimos buena comida. El plato de crudo tenía una gran selección de pescado crudo, todos los cuales eran muy buenos. Luego un excelente plato de berenjena y pasta con pulpo y camarones pequeños. Buena selección de vinos por copa. El camarero recomendó un tinto siciliano que era bastante bueno para el precio. Tiramisú y sorbete de limón ambos muy buenos para el postre.

16/11/2024: Osteria vía Mantova fue elegido para nuestro almuerzo del viernes principalmente porque teníamos otros negocios en la zona. Resultó ser una experiencia de restaurante que vale la pena viajar! El ambiente es excelente y el personal amable y atento. La comida era bastante simple, pero tan bien preparado que uno no puede desear nada más. Las porciones son grandes, pero no abrumadoras. Éramos un grupo de cuatro que compartimos cuatro deliciosos antipasti, además teníamos un primi cada uno. Entonces estábamos satisfactoriamente llenos, y tuvimos espacio para solo un café y grappa después. El restaurante ofrece comida bien preparada y sabrosa a una relación calidad-precio extremadamente buena. Realmente fue una gran experiencia. Via Mantova está un poco fuera de la zona turística normal, pero vale la pena viajar un poco. Un gran lugar para comer si quieres ver Porta Pia, MACRO museo de arte y / o Quartiere Coppedè.

05/02/2025: Ottimo locale per gli amanti del vino, tante etichette tra cui scegliere e un ricco menu con proposte gastronomiche come salumi, formaggi locali, focacce (stratosferiche) e tante altre sfiziosità!

01/02/2025: Locale freddo e dismesso, cantina miserevole, cucina pessima, stoviglie sporche, conto esagerato perché inadeguato rispetto alla pessima qualità del cibo. Peccato aver lasciato il mare e percorso 80 km pensando di trascorrere una serata di qualità ricordando il “Santo Bevitore” di un tempo!! Invece siamo tornati a casa affamati e delusi. L’unica nota positiva il giovane e simpatico cameriere!

22/01/2025: A very random but extremely pleasant discovery for a tourist. 😊 I found myself in the area, completely drenched by the rain, I was just looking for somewhere to take shelter. The guys were very friendly and kind during my stay there. They suggested two different local beers, both top notch! I also had a little something to eat and it was great! Fresh and tasty! The place itself was beautiful, in a very classic and old-fashioned way. When I arrived, it was boozing, stayed long enough to see it become quiet and enjoy the atmosphere. All in all, I absolutely recommend! Thank you guys for taking care of a very wet foreigner! 😆

07/04/2025: We spent the weekend having dinner there both Saturday and Sunday. I recommend it 100%. The service was 10, the food was 10. Everything they recommended to us was of quality. The place has views of the beautiful town.

03/03/2025: Since I’ve been to Italy I forgot how cozy and fun it is to sit in a cafe without trying to rush or have an uncomfortable chair. This place is quite well designed and as much as I like the traditional bars, I can’t deny I was happy to see a place like this in Rome. Food is also good if you’re wondering.

02/04/2025: We accidentally discovered this typical local restaurant with authentic flavors and a welcoming atmosphere away from the city noise. Francesco with his 45 years and 9 months of experience and a lot of family tradition. We are right in the heart of Castel Gandolfo where, as soon as you leave, there is a breathtaking view of the lake. Clearly highly recommended!!
