17/10/2025: They pass off products as others, poor quality wine by the glass, and even there they tell you one product then serve another... never again. You pay 13 euros for a ham and buffalo mozzarella platter, but the mozzarella balls are the ones from the supermarket and I can't even comment on the ham... too bad.

17/10/2025: We visited this restaurant recently and had a rather mixed experience. The appetizer was definitely the highlight of the meal: beautifully presented and with pleasant flavors. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal didn't live up to the same standards. The carbonara was a real disappointment: flavorless pasta, unbalanced seasoning, and a taste that didn't at all resemble the traditional dish. The cutlet and chicken were average—nothing particularly bad, but nothing memorable either. The final bill was quite high considering the overall quality of the dishes. In short, a place with some potential, but currently the quality/price ratio isn't the best.

18/11/2025: Venue: Very beautiful, well-maintained, with various rooms offering a perfectly elegant atmosphere. Food: We had a wonderful dinner; the quality of the food is unquestionable. The wine was also excellent. Service: We were looked after by Isham (I hope that's how you spell it!), a delightful, distinguished, precise, and sociable man. He was very attentive to our every request. We spent time chatting with him, and it was very pleasant. Compliments to the managers of Modo; we'll be back!

25/11/2025: I went again to dine at Il Simposio. The food was sensational as was the amazing wine (Luce from Frescobaldi). I was looked after by the charming Katerina.

23/11/2025: A very pleasant surprise! We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, as the atmosphere looked inviting from the outside, and we weren't disappointed. The place is cozy, the tables are spacious, with a great selection of fresh fish and, most importantly, a head waiter who knows how to prepare it right in front of you. A nice wine list too, and a good little grappa to finish…

12/10/2025: Welcoming atmosphere, excellent cuisine. Carbonara is excellent, as are all Roman first courses. The appetizers are very tasty. Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

29/11/2025: A charming place with a lovely spa where very competent staff pampers you. I recommend the massages and the spa, it's wonderful.

13/10/2025: Wrapping up our 1 month vacation in Italy, one of the best memories is our time spent at Valle del Marta. Our Host (and owner) Mario was such a wonderful person who made our time there entertaining and he was extremely helpful (driving us in and out of Tarquinia for dinner each night. The staff could not have been more friendly - thank you Alessandra and Rita. After a long trip in I would highly recommend a massage in the spa from Rita - excellent. The pool and grounds were extremely beautiful and we even got a taste of the first grappa made this year by Franco (Mario’s brother). Not to mention their world class production of award winning brandy. No matter where we go in Italy on our next trip - we will certainly stay and visit with our friends at Valle del Marta !!

06/12/2025: I'm only reviewing the bar: very friendly staff, prices are a bit higher but consider the location! I recommend the bar, everything is very clean and the food is good too!

30/09/2025: The quantity is paltry; the photo speaks for itself: it should have been an average gelato... The flavors are "tasteless," with a consistency that's not creamy at all, but almost frothy. It doesn't compare favorably to other gelato shops; I'm sorry, but I wouldn't recommend it.

08/12/2025: Nice restaurant located more or less in the historic center of Frosinone. The food is good and the dishes are beautifully presented. I recommend trying the chestnut ravioli with pumpkin cream and the omelette with caramelized onion, asparagus, and a cascade of truffles. And, for dessert, the pomegranate cheesecake. 😋 The staff is kind and helpful, especially Linda. 😊 Parking is the real problem, but that's exactly what upper Frosinone is. 😪 Today, since it's a holiday and the offices around the hotel-restaurant are closed, my family and I found a parking spot more easily than the first time, in the evening, on a weekday. Or maybe because we booked for lunch and not dinner. 🤔 Unfortunately, I've never had reason to try it as a hotel, since I live in this city, but the photos look promising. 🫠 Recommended. 😊👍

02/12/2025: In the highest part of the city, parking is extremely difficult. At certain times, it's almost impossible. Rooms are decorated in… vintage style. Overall, clean, but the limescale in the shower was truly excessive. The shower is huge and extremely comfortable, by the way. The water from the system (both cold and hot) is pumped in bursts: at times it's very strong, at times it seems to stop. This makes mixing difficult, and the showerhead feels scalding hot and cold. From my room, I had a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. Prices are affordable. The sweet breakfast was varied and pleasant. The cakes were excellent. There was practically no savory breakfast. Avoid the restaurant: I spent 50 euros for an appetizer of eggplant meatballs that didn't taste like eggplant, fried cod with olives (fried), capers (fried) in a sauce (fried) that I digested the following week, a glass of wine, water, and a 3-cm-diameter chocolate cake. Crazy price and barely adequate quality. There are much better dining options nearby. I'll return to the hotel, carefully avoiding the restaurant.

08/06/2025: Speechless and by speechless, I mean in a clearly positive way!!! We celebrated my children's confirmation and communion in this little restaurant and I assure you that you will be pleasantly surprised! We opted for a fish menu and we are extremely satisfied with the quality of everything cooked and the absolutely honest price!! The service guys were fast, friendly and easy-going!! The guests were all satisfied and we were even more satisfied, for the excellent success of the ceremonies!! I sincerely thank the management and employees!! To say excellent is an understatement!! For those who want to go and eat fish in the mountains, it is a pleasant surprise... of course with a reservation well in advance!

01/09/2025: We left the restaurant with smiles on our faces: Mama's cooking, respectful of tradition, with the freshest ingredients and balanced flavors. The maltagliati made with ancient grain flours were exceptional, the lamb in sauce and the saddle of veal were incredibly tender, and the chopped chicory, just the way I like it, was fantastic. Excellent wines and, above all, a top-notch digestif: Amaro Virentis! The atmosphere is family-friendly, ideal for a get-together with friends or a family gathering. Very good value for the quality offered. I recommend booking! In short: superb cuisine, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere—a little restaurant definitely worth a visit!

02/06/2025: Halfway through a long bike ride, we arrive at 2:30 pm. A first course on the fly, water, wine and coffee (15€) and we were out at 3:00 pm. We had an excellent wild boar ragù. When we asked to add truffle to the fettuccine, they explained to us, with kind firmness, that certain combinations are not done at their house: "truffle is delicate, it goes with butter, anchovy, not with game." It was a lesson. "Of course if you really insist..." Oh no, in front of the chef with that sincerely pained face, no. We had already made a fool of ourselves, we are people who learn from our mistakes. In short, we left fuller and wiser. Thank you

02/12/2025: Two experiences, one on Monday and one on Saturday. On Monday, there were three of us. The place was very nice, the service was fast and friendly, but the fried food was too greasy and the pizza was saltless. On Saturday, there were seven of us. We were in the "outside" area, which was closed but outside, and it was very, very cold even with two sweaters. The pizza was good, but the service was very slow. The meat, however, was delicious!!! Congratulations. So, I'd say it's a good place during the week for a night out with friends. Weekends are very busy, so I wouldn't recommend it.
