Saturday evening we went for pizza, I left hungry... we ordered at 8:40 PM, given that there were 8 people at the table, including 4 small children, and the pizza for two girls, plus focaccia pizza with sausage, arrived at 10:15 PM. Finally, the other pizzas arrived, skipping mine... at 11:00 PM it didn't arrive, so I sent it back... the waiters were disappointed, but the bill was €130... obviously, they didn't charge me for my pizza, but they did charge me for the poor service of €2 each... never again... expensive and appalling service

13/12/2025: The pizza dough is amazing, and the pizza recipes range from not so good to really good. The concept of small pizza slices is great.

05/12/2025: A real find! Delicious pizza al taglio with a wide variety, good prices, and fast service. Great for eating in or, especially, for takeaway.

21/10/2025: After a long time, we returned to this restaurant and rediscovered how to eat fish with a modest €45 menu. We were very pleased with the value for money, and we'll definitely be back. The service was excellent and the owner was very kind.

28/07/2025: A delicious gelato shop with a welcoming atmosphere. Lorenzo is a down-to-earth guy, always smiling, and he makes everyone happy, especially the kids! The gelato is homemade, artisanal, and you can taste it: all the flavors are delicious, but the "Giusto Gusto" remains a favorite with both adults and kids. Don't underestimate the baby cornetto, which Lorenzo is the only one making in the area: perfect for little ones, both in terms of price and quantity. A true must-try on summer evenings. Not to be missed!

13/07/2025: If you're looking for a place nearby to eat excellent meat, Bistecchiera Ponziani is definitely a good choice. It's a shame about the rest: the dessert (millefoglie) wasn't up to par with the other dishes, and the atmosphere wasn't exactly the best. Friendly and courteous service.

30/11/2025: The lack of a receipt adds to the disappointment of a cold cut, an inedible one due to excessive aging (or perhaps old meat) and three side dishes that never arrived. We will not return.

26/08/2025: A fun, soulful place, mostly local young people. Small menu, cardboard plates, but very tasty food with its own accent. Cheap, very nice staff. Definitely recommend.

20/07/2025: I ate a pizza diavola and drank two excellent German lager beers with character. I bought Gabriele's book 'shot', which can be purchased on site... I RECOMMEND PURCHASING A PLEASANT STORY, with the author's autograph and dedication.

08/12/2025: On the plus side: • Very beautiful location, with stone arches, well-spaced tables, objects reminiscent of the past, and well-organized display cases. • Outside, just before entering, there's a display case with souvenir photos of famous people who have spent time at the Osteria. • ​​Excellent wine list. • The chef knows his job well, in fact, the food is truly excellent. On the minus side: • Sorry to say, but the wait staff is "too" intrusive. They're always at the table for whatever reason; even while you're eating, you find them right in front of you, and it feels like they're looking into your mouth (or rather, it's better to remove the "seem" from the name). • The price is a bit too high for an Osteria. I understand the modernity, but in an Osteria, I expect higher prices, more affordable for everyone. • Not much choice on the menu. And when asked if carbonara was available (remember, we're in the heart of Lazio), the response was: "I already told you that's what you can order!" •• In summary: a nice place, plenty of seating, excellent cleanliness and atmosphere, excellent food and preparation by the chef, but the wait staff who are always checking on you even when you're wiping your face, and the high price of the bill make me lower the stars. It's a shame because with a few small adjustments, it could have been accessible to everyone (so if you're thinking of going to an osteria to eat a lot for little, this isn't the place for you; think carefully about your budget first).

07/12/2025: We, a couple, booked a table very early and were the first guests to arrive. The service was flawless and the dinner was perfect. The side fish came a little late but it didn't affect the overall experience. The beef cheek is probably the best I have ever had! It simply melts in your mouth.

01/11/2025: It's like being at home. The service is friendly, the food is homely, and the warmth is that of home. The inn is located downstairs in the town square of Picinisco. In the summer, I'm sure you can enjoy a wonderful view from the outdoor tables. Inside, it's a classic trattoria, where the food is simple and authentic. There aren't any superlative flavors, but it's definitely a pleasant place to be, and the owner, who is very kind, even created a wonderful playpen with lots of toys for the kids. We had a great time because my daughter had a lot of fun too. Good food alone doesn't always make the difference.
