21/09/2025: Years have passed, but Gitano remains my favorite place. The little wooden house with its beautiful veranda overlooking the lake still has its charm. From here, you can admire the lake in 360°, a lake that never has the same color, but is always beautiful. This year, the big news: in charge, we have a wonderful staff of 20-year-olds; beautiful, smiling, and extremely courteous. They always keep this place tidy and clean. The food is excellent; my favorite dish is octopus with potatoes. Francesco, our legendary lifeguard, is always there. His strong point? His ability to engage the children and keep their "screaming" parents at bay so they can take a nice nap in the afternoon. Thanks to all the staff, and see you next year. Hugs, Emanuela

21/09/2025: Nice place, excellent food, breakfast/lunch/dinner. We had lunch, tonnarelli sea bass and cherry tomatoes for two, delicious. Two Cokes, one water, homemade ice cream, very fair prices, friendly staff. We'll be back for lunch again today.

13/10/2025: Good bakery with many types of pizza, the white one that keeps well even the next day, delicious chocolate cookies, and grandma's cakes in both small and large sizes. They also sell jarred products (chickpeas, peas, sauces), some of which are good quality. It's open all day.

12/10/2025: It's hard to find any flaws.... Both in the food and the service.... The place has its charm... Silence was guaranteed upon request by Mrs. Gianna... The food, delivered to the table, expertly cooked by the chef,,, and finally, the friendliness of the owner.... A place to recommend and, obviously, to visit in any situation where quality is required.

10/11/2025: Very limited menu, trattoria-like atmosphere, generous portions of food, but only adequate in quality and flavor. The only thing that lowers the review to one star is the excessively high price for these dishes. Really, way too high. In my humble opinion, you should spend 25% less.

28/08/2025: My partner and I went to this butcher shop two nights ago to stock up on meat, and I waited to write my review because we wanted to try all the meats we bought first: chicken, heifer meatballs, picanha, Angus, pork loin, sausages, and even the dried liver sausages. Well, what can I say... I've never eaten such good meat in the area, speaking of butchers... What struck us most was the quality: during cooking, the meat didn't shrink as often happens; in fact, it actually seemed juicier and more fragrant. For some cuts, we even forgot to add salt or seasoning, the natural flavor of the meat was so good and flavorful. The quality-price ratio is, in my opinion, excellent. Furthermore, the owner is a wonderful person: extremely kind, clear in his explanations, and extremely helpful. He cut our meat with great care; for example, he cut and deboned the chicken into perfect pieces (breast, wings, thighs, etc.). From now on, this will definitely be our go-to butcher. Highly recommended!

09/11/2025: Historic bar and restaurant for lunch in the Magliana area, featuring Roman first courses and a daily menu; express cuisine, "on the road" style….. The door opens to the roar of the Maranello red car!!!! A vast collection of memorabilia that represents Italian pride!

27/09/2025: I had lunch at this trattoria, and I have to admit the food wasn't bad, but there are several things that make me give it a rather low rating overall. First of all, the dining room was small and extremely noisy. I left with a headache. Then, being alone, they relegated me to the darkest, most forgotten corner of the room: I was hidden behind a pillar and a shelf, and every time I needed to call a waiter, I had to get up because they couldn't see me from my position. I started with the Italian antipasto, a mix of cured meats, cheeses, some pickled vegetables, and a bruschetta. A very mixed appetizer: the cured meats were quite meager in both quantity and quality, the two slices of aged cheese were good (too few), the bruschetta with oil was excellent, but only because the oil was good, and the rest of the olives and the single artichoke segment were from a jar they must have bought at the supermarket. It's only worth it because it was cheap. The first course with mushrooms was good, but not as abundant as I'd read. For the second course, I ordered a portion of sausages and the special of the day: baked porcini mushrooms. No complaints about the sausages, good and tasty. I have a lot to say about the porcini mushrooms: I asked how large the portion was and was told it was about 300 grams, so I expect a good portion! Too bad I got the mushroom head, half a porcini stem, and a larger slice of a stem from another mushroom... I asked for an explanation and they turned it around, telling me the stem of my mushroom was small and they'd added another piece. Half the stem of my mushroom was missing, and what I had on my plate certainly wasn't 300 grams!! Unfortunately, I don't have any photos because I was quite annoyed. And above all, I didn't want to make any more fuss and try to enjoy my lunch. Anyway, the porcini tasted good. I finished with a slice of their homemade tart and coffee. The lunch ended on a high note when I got the bill and noticed they'd charged me one euro more than the price on the menu, and when they made a fuss about me taking away the bottle of water I hadn't finished. Luckily, after insisting about their pricing error, they took a euro and a fifty off me and muttered that they'd "allow" me to take away the water I'd paid for. I spent €40 in total. The first and second courses were good, but the appetizer was completely forgettable. Pricing errors, unclear portion sizes, complaints about taking away the bottle of water... Overall, I'd give it a passing grade, but I don't think I'll return: unfortunately, the service was truly poor and lacking transparency, which is crucial for me. Two stars would be an excessively negative rating, so I'll give it three stars overall, but I'd give it 2.5 if I could.

06/10/2025: We visited this pizzeria and had a really good time. The pizza is delicious, with a light, well-cooked crust, and the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The waiter also informed us that the menu changes four times a year. The staff is friendly, and the service is fast. The place is welcoming and clean. The prices are more than fair for the food. We'll definitely be back.

21/10/2025: I stopped in for a quick coffee, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the service was excellent! The sandwich was simple and well worth the price for the area. The breakfast menu was varied.

18/10/2025: Excellent service and truly excellent food, carefully prepared and tasty. Unfortunately, however, I was very disappointed by the owner's behavior, who repeatedly sneezed and coughed in the dining room without any precautions. I found this disrespectful to the customers and decidedly inappropriate. It's a shame, because I had visited this restaurant on a weekend away and expected an impeccable experience in every way.

13/11/2025: I stumbled upon the neighborhood by chance, and I have to say the pizza by the slice is delicious. I've tried several flavors, all very good. The dough is light, and I assume it's slowly rising. While I was enjoying the pizza, I saw some very tempting dishes coming out, and I have to say, people stop by to eat. Very friendly people. Clean place.
