Purchase a receipt first, then go inside to choose your flavor. I chose a 4-scoop set for 6.5 euros: blueberry, blackberry, lemon, and pistachio. Delicious! This is Rome's most famous and historic gelato shop, founded in 1900 (originally a dairy shop in 1890). Located near the Pantheon, this shop was a favorite of Pope John Paul II for its rich gelato and unique flavor, and is also a pilgrimage site for many political and business figures, as well as fans of Audrey Hepburn from "Roman Holiday."

Some of the best ice cream we had in Rome. Truly fantastic. I got the Giolitti's directions from a friend. It was worth coming in the heat of the day and cooling off in Chile. The service was very nice, especially the gentlemen who served the ice cream. And the selection of flavors. Besides the ice cream, you can also try other sweets. Note: the medium portion is too large for my family (three large portions). I recommend it.

Use a little less coffee in the coffee granita. Yesterday we had it and both of us felt sick that evening. I should start by saying that we're used to drinking coffee every day. The granita was delicious, but apparently the amount of coffee was too much. On other occasions, we've also had ice creams, which I must say are delicious.

A very nice gelato shop. Lots of flavour and they taste excellent. However it is very crowded and no seating arrangement is provided. The costs are also in the higher end. Good for visit once.

02/06/2026: We celebrated my daughter's first communion here, and besides the beautiful location with its lush greenery, we were lucky enough to have the perfect day, so we thoroughly enjoyed it. A huge thank you to the staff on hand that day who worked tirelessly to ensure a wonderful party. They were truly talented, and the catering was excellent and plentiful. Thank you again for solving any problems we had, allowing us to enjoy the party.

02/12/2025: The guys are incredibly kind. The supplì are among the best I've ever eaten, and the pizza is thin and very digestible. The food is up to par. The atmosphere is welcoming, a place worth preserving. An institution in the area.
