31/01/2026: We celebrated my daughter's first birthday on a Sunday in late January. With the owner, Annalisa, we opted for something different than the usual lunch: a lovely buffet lunch! Excellent choice, with an aperitif while waiting for everyone to arrive. The buffet's very long table was always stocked with appetizers, then we moved on to the first courses (three choices), which were always well stocked, and the grilled main course with side dishes. Then came cake, coffee, and liqueurs. 😎 (The guests were already full after the first courses). I would make this choice again because it allows guests to eat whatever they like and the portion they want. Thanks also to all the staff at Il Piccolo Principe.

10/03/2026: Unfortunately, I have to give one star. The prices are outrageous and the quality is mediocre. A zero would be more deserving, but the system doesn't allow it... I'm almost tempted to complain to Google... it should be deleted, to say the least.

10/03/2026: Restaurant, because it can no longer be called a trattoria, very famous in Rome for its cacio e pepe. The marketing strategy is to distinguish itself from the usual home-style trattorias with checkered tablecloths, and this quality is reflected in the atmosphere and in the bill. There is no house wine and the wine list is extensive, but there is no bottle of red for less than €30, which I must say is increasingly common elsewhere. The menu is rich and classic. Excellent eggplant roulade, excellent puntarelle, creamy carbonara and crispy bacon, the rigatoni al dente on the inside but perhaps, I'm not sure, precooked, as it is slightly rubbery on the outside. The cacio e pepe, as per tradition, is very rich and delicious. The sliced ​​beef is also good. It certainly remains a point of reference for tourists and others who want guaranteed quality Roman cuisine with a less homey and noisy atmosphere.

15/02/2026: Without further ado: everything was excellent. Appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, desserts, coffee, and after-dinner drinks. The service wasn't Michelin-starred, but in my opinion, even better. I felt like I was at home, with kindness, affability, and the right level of professionalism. The location was truly beautiful. Lastly, the owners are also motorcyclists. What more could you ask for?

06/08/2025: Fantastic, I was super excited when I walked in. The outside is beautiful, there's a stunning lawn, a fountain that lights up in the evening and has different colors, very pretty, a large space outside before entering, inside there's a chandelier that I think is fabulous, I had the room on the 3rd floor number 301, beautiful! The bed was super soft, I slept like a dream!! There was also a small table with a kettle on it and all the things to make tea!! A desk with a beautiful mirror, the bathroom very nice and also a very large mirror! At the entrance and near the bed there are two other mirrors that I loved! In front of the TV there is also a fairly large TV so it's top!! Highly recommended!! The breakfast was very large full of many choices!! I loved it, I hope to return!

13/12/2025: If you are a tourist traveling across Italy don't miss out this place! It is the most typical place where you can eat in Italy hinterland. Set menu, but you can choose quantities, local wine, cheap prices, home tastes. Don't let you fool by the ambient, that's also typical, you'll have the perfect Sunday launch with the speciality, roasted lamb and potatoes, I am feeling the urge to eat them again now that I am writing

08/03/2026: The restaurant is suitable for those with a moderate appetite. The food was good but the portions were very small, and the service is best left unsaid. The €30 dance menu with no choice was shocking; in all our years, we've never left the table feeling hungry. I can't say anything good or bad about the pizza, as we didn't order it, but looking at the ones passed around the tables nearby, they looked large and very tempting. The dance hall adjacent to the restaurant is decent, with two rooms for ballroom and Latin, and an excellent dance floor.

19/10/2025: Quite an extensive menu, with excellent burgers and very good fried foods, and a wide selection. Very important advice: the service provided by the owner is truly terrible. When he makes jokes (if they're jokes), you should smile, because there's a fine line between seeming friendly and being rude and unpleasant. A little more flexibility with customers, otherwise it's better to change jobs :)
