24/10/2025: The fish was delicious, both the first and second courses were well prepared with adequate portions... highly recommended.

19/10/2025: My husband and I were invited to a birthday party yesterday. I'm celiac, and my husband has to eat everything without salt. From the appetizer to the first course, everything was unparalleled. For both of us. I highly recommend this place to anyone who, like me, has a hard time going out because they're afraid of cross-contamination. The staff is very attentive, polite, and always smiling. Kudos to those who run "Marechiaro."

30/09/2025: The spaghetti was tasteless, not delicious, overcooked, and oversalted, no cheese, no beef. I' v never tasted a worse pasta. We left the restaurant hungry and upset about such bad experience

31/10/2025: We had gnocchi and pizza. Without a doubt, some of the best gnocchi I've ever had, the sauce was amazing, and the pasta was spectacular. The pizza was also fantastic. If you can, ask Eva to bring her hot sauce—it's incredible! The service was superb too. 10 out of 10, I would definitely go back and recommend it.

13/09/2025: We wandered into Pane e Vino near the end of their lunch service. Wow! What a wonderful surprise! This is an authentic local osteria with limited but expertly prepared menu. Everything was delicious. The pasta was al dente, cooked in a slightly spicy pomodoro sauce that you couldn't get enough of. The house vino and bread were divine too. My husband's coniglio and my chicken were perfectly baked paired with fresh salad -- healthy and yummy! We had to skip dessert and the espresso shot because we had an appointment to get too but they looked good too. Get there by 2pm for lunch, although another group came in at 2:15 and were seated. Very reasonable priced - a local lunch spot near Fontechiari - and sparkling clean too. Must try if in the area. We'll be back!

06/09/2025: You can only eat by reservation, meaning that simply reserving a table isn't enough... We discovered that if you then want to eat appetizers you have to reserve them... well... anyway, the food was good but very, perhaps, too seasoned and lacking in variety, a modest trattoria.

07/10/2025: A cute and welcoming place. It's small inside, but there are plenty of tables outside; there are even blankets available for windier, cooler days. We had a spritz and had a nice chat. Gianluca, the owner (I think), was super helpful.

05/06/2025: Se siete alla ricerca di un'enoteca autentica, calorosa e con un'atmosfera che fa subito sentire a casa, non potete perdervi questo posto. L’ambiente è curato nei dettagli, accogliente e perfetto sia per una serata tranquilla che per un brindisi tra amici. La selezione dei vini è semplicemente eccellente: ampia, ben curata e con proposte interessanti sia alla mescita che in bottiglia. Si spazia da etichette locali a scelte internazionali, con un occhio di riguardo per le produzioni artigianali e di qualità. Il vero valore aggiunto, però, sono le persone: Stefano, il proprietario, è una presenza preziosa. Sempre disponibile, preparato e capace di raccontare ogni vino con passione e competenza, riesce a consigliare sempre il calice giusto. Al suo fianco c’è Antonio, altrettanto gentile e attento, che contribuisce a rendere l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. Ormai è diventato il mio posto del cuore: ci porto amici, colleghi, parenti... e ogni volta tutti ne rimangono entusiasti. È raro trovare un posto che unisca così bene qualità, accoglienza e passione. Alla prossima! Chiara :)
