05/11/2024: This pizzeria is particular: it belongs to a category known in Civitavecchia as "ghetto style" (name derived from the first pizzeria of its kind, which is located in the Civitavecchia ghetto and bears its name) due to the way of making and serving pizza : little selection (in fact there isn't even a menu), by weight, and served on paper without plates or cutlery, therefore strictly with your hands. For the occasion you will be provided with numerous napkins. If this isn't a problem for you, you will find yourself in a nice, welcoming and quite classic place, but it would be ideal to book in advance and specify whether inside or outside, otherwise you risk that the only table available is one so narrow that you won't be able to sit at one. in front of each other. As for the pizza, as mentioned you will have little choice available, and you order by weight. However, that little selection is put to good use. As they say, quality over quantity. Although due to personal preference I prefer other types of pizza, Paolillo is still something not to be ignored, especially the slightly acidic taste of the mozzarella he uses for the margherita, very pleasant and appetizing. Tomato is used in large quantities in red pizza, and the dough is a little thick. The only criticism I feel like making is the almost always burnt and narrow edges. So, if you like them, unfortunately it is very likely that you will have to discard them. A fundamental warning: freshly made pizza, especially if with tomato or Nutella, is HOT and you risk causing second degree burns on the palate. No, I'm not exaggerating. So be patient and wait for it to cool down a bit or, if you are really impatient, blow and/or use a mini-fan if you have one. Basically this pizzeria is a bit of an acquired taste. Not my favorite even though I'm quite happy to go back, but it could be yours. The only way to find out is to try at least once.

23/11/2024: Ristorante senza fronzoli nel centro di Allumiere. Offre una selezione di piatti, tutti di estrema qualità. Zuppa di funghi, tagliatelle con i funghi, gnocchi con borragine, spezzatino in bianco, cantucci e vin santo, caffè, vino della casa. Tutto senza eccezioni era davvero buono. Bravi, complimenti.

And I would also add that the condiments are of excellent quality! But do we want to talk about the tomato? The basis of almost all stuffed pizzas: from margherita to diavola or napoli, the tomato 🍅 of Avalon pizzas can't be beat! Tasty, fragrant, unique! In Tuscia there is no other place better than this if you are a 🍕 addict! It goes without saying that beer goes well with pizza, and what beer! Excellent Guiness, as is the service, the location and the staff who are always courteous and smiling. Well done everyone!

04/12/2024: Pleasant discovery with last minute booking on The Fork. Cozy place, the only flaw was that they gave us a table in front of the entrance, subject to the cold outside air every time they opened to go in or out. That table is in an unfortunate place, they might think about rearranging it. Attentive, friendly and pleasant service. We took an appetizer to share with fried foods of all kinds, not banal and delicious. We then tried the burgers. I took the Veggie, highly recommended. Generous portion with a side of puff pastry chips. Good choice on desserts. Birra del Borgo a guarantee. They also make home deliveries, if you can't go and try it at the restaurant. Excellent quality/price ratio. I'll be back.

24/11/2024: Abbiamo provato questo locale a pranzo. Eravamo in tre. Abbiamo preso 1 antipasto 3 primi e tre secondi con 1 contorno. I pici all amatriciana sugo di passata crudo. I secondi veramente pessimi. Tagliata con funghi, la meta' era grasso e l altra meta' cruda( e avevo chiesto media cottura). Arrosticini e saltimbocca al sangue. Ho fatto presente al proprietario tutto questo, ma sembra non gli sia importato piu di tanto. Beh....contenti loro...ciaone!!!

04/01/2025: Mi ha portato il mio ragazzo in quanto ci era già stato dicendomi che aveva mangiato molto bene, confermo!!! Oltre al cibo ottimo e di qualità anche il servizio e il personale sono stati attenti, gentili e simpatici. Una tappa fissa ogni volta che torneremo a Roma, consiglio!

21/12/2024: In this quiet historic restaurant, such as you can't find anymore, for the first time in my life, I liked everything, from start to finish without any flaw... it's very difficult for this to happen in the vast majority of restaurants in the capital. ...and then that scent of embers that gives the sensation of being "out of town" despite being between Tufello and Bufalotta, is priceless! ...and the Macaw parrot, Pedro who greets you is an added value!
