23/11/2025: It's located at the end of the main street, right across from the Abbey of San Nilo. Upon entering, you're greeted with a pleasant impression: the place is beautiful and welcoming. The Christmas decorations are also lovely. There's a wide selection of first courses, all very good and plentiful. The second courses are less impressive, but the side dishes, especially the artichokes, are highly recommended. Overall, I'll be back and recommend it if you're in the area.

23/11/2025: There's no point looking for anything else: this is the perfect place, in the perfect location, with the perfect food. Stop, you don't need anything else...and if you've come to Grottaferrata to visit the Abbey of San Nilo (there really isn't anything else to visit, Ed.), know that it's right across the street, and the large free parking lot is just a hundred meters away. But first things first...it's Sunday, lunchtime, and we hadn't booked...we're in the Castelli area, so we'll find a table...not a chance. After a few refusals, we enter, feeling rather disheartened, and not only are we greeted with a smiling "You're welcome!" but we're led in search of a table in a stunning location that left me speechless. Spread across multiple levels, this beautiful restaurant (also known as a pizzeria, thanks to an efficient wood-fired oven) has spacious rooms and an outdoor area with a pergola that's undoubtedly popular in the summer. The main entrance is on Via di San Nilo, almost opposite the Abbey, but you can also enter from the side, through the outdoor area, directly in front of the cash register and the kitchen. A maze of steps makes this place resemble a medieval village, with large arches and tuff walls. Everything is intimate, with attention to detail, and a tasteful Christmassy decor. The menu? A simple sheet of paper summarizes the entire selection (yay, let's simplify), and the wine list is separate. Traditional local dishes made with local ingredients, a good selection, and moderate prices. What's surprising is the quantity: generous portions of beautifully presented and exquisitely flavorful dishes, with distinct flavors. Nothing is left to chance. Gnocchi with truffles and porcini mushrooms, sliced ​​beef, lamb chops, roast suckling pig, puntarelle and Roman-style artichokes, and finally, pistachio tiramisu and berry crumble cake. Even the coffee is delicious. The bill? Reasonable...but the place is so comfortable and the food so good that, frankly, you don't even care how much you spend. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing, thanks in part to the warm lighting and the separation between the various rooms. An excellent experience that I'm happy to share and recommend with all my heart. The only flaw is their great asset: generous portions, so if you're a light eater, choose somewhere else. 24/11/2025: An excellent venue in the capital for dancing salsa and bachata. On Sundays, entry is €15 at 7:00 PM for a buffet dinner (good quality and plentiful) plus a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages). This evening, DJ Marco el Chino was there...a reliable performer for decades now.

13/11/2025: I received some money on the website (the one shown in the photo) and thought: why not treat myself a little? I ordered this dish and didn’t regret it for a second. The meat and vegetables were cooked perfectly, the portion was generous, and the presentation was great.

15/12/2025: I regretfully have to make a comment. For me, my family, and my friends, this pizzeria has been a staple for years for excellent pizza, even for takeout. However, we've noticed that the quality hasn't been the same for a while. Last Saturday night, we ordered a dozen pizzas and, once again, we were very disappointed. Dough...toppings...size...?????

14/12/2025: Not much more... ordered the pizza of the day.... then after 20 minutes the waiter comes to the table telling me that one ingredient of that pizza was finished... so he changes the pizza and waits some more time😣😱😣😣😣😱😱

03/10/2025: Nice place, not very crowded on a Friday night, average service, unfortunately the food wasn't what I expected. I'd been there before and loved it. Something may have changed in the kitchen, but the quality wasn't as good as the first time. I never eat all-you-can-eat, so I ordered a set menu recommended by the waiter. Prices are high. It's a shame, I was very happy the first time, but now I wouldn't go back or recommend it. They're also arrogant in their responses to criticism; I never eat all-you-can-eat.

23/11/2025: We'd been away for a while, but we were delighted to return with dear friends who regularly frequent this restaurant, famous for its seafood. What can I say? Everything was excellent. The raw fish was a delight, and all the raw and cooked appetizers were truly excellent and beautifully presented. The appetizer portions were so generous that we only managed to order the first course, an excellent spaghetti with clams for everyone. The wine list was also remarkable, and desserts were unforgettable. We'll be back.

21/10/2025: Recently visited this cozy restaurant and ordered the pasta with mussels — and I didn’t regret it for a second. The dish was really tasty and well-prepared: the pasta was perfectly al dente, the sauce was flavorful, and the mussels were fresh and tender. You can tell it’s made with care. I also calculated the calories using the service mentioned in the photo attached to this review. It turned out to be super convenient! For anyone keeping track of their diet, it’s an awesome find — you can easily stay on top of everything you eat.
