As a big hungry group from Ireland we found our experience here exceptional from start to finish. The food was outstanding—fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. But what really stood out was the staff: warm, professional, and genuinely attentive without being over the top. They made the whole experience feel effortless. Easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had—highly recommend.

Beautiful food and excellent service. We were a large group from Ireland travelling with small kids. The staff are very accommodating. They gave great recommendations. The wine and cocktails were fantastic. This restaurant is a must for anyone traveling to Velletri. A special shout out to Matilde. We had little to no Italian and she went above and beyond for us.

We were there a while ago, we ate very well and quite quickly too, the only flaw was the guided wine tasting, too long and stuffed with useless monologues!

Excellent for dinner with your partner or for aperitifs with friends. The menu is limited but of undeniable quality. The tartare is a must-try. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The wine tasting is worth it. The prices are fair for what you get.

21/05/2026: We did the tasting tour with the three of us. It was amazing. The food was good, the host was funny and entertaining. Her knowledge about Italian food was really interesting. And the food was really good and tasty. Highly recommend doing the food tour here.
20/04/2026: We had the Roman food tour and it was great, we were welcomed by the wonderful lady Lis and presented us with pesto, several cheeses and 30 year old balsamic vinegar, about as much as you can drink. The whole experience was great, and the amount of food, although not much at first, was great and filling. I recommend this activity after a lot of walking around Rome

Ristorante Pizzeria ArVolo

06/06/2026: A Roman trattoria, but with quality and affordable prices (first courses around €12, pizzas average around €12). It has plenty of seating inside and a decent outdoor area on the Lungotevere, in a decidedly redeveloped area. Arriving on a packed Saturday evening without a reservation, we were immediately informed that they could seat us, but we'd have a long wait. Having been notified, we decided to sit anyway. In the end, the wait wasn't that long, and the food was truly good: excellent pizza, pasta too, and especially the excellent Roman-style artichokes made the old-fashioned way, with chopped garlic and mint. The espresso tiramisu was delicious. We'll be back, maybe not on Saturday: some confusion on the part of the waiters, but given the evening, it was understandable.
04/06/2026: Old fashioned atmosphere, well-made food, a glass of hot Trebbiano, good fried sheep skewers with little salt, excellent pasta, shame it lacked creaminess
