01/12/2025: I stopped by Cioli 1917 in Castel Gandolfo while strolling, drawn by the historic atmosphere that can be felt from the street. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a well-made sandwich. And indeed, I left satisfied. The porchetta is truly delicious: flavorful, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, just as it should be. I understand why so many consider it one of the best in Castel Gandolfo. The staff was friendly and quick, no frills but with that genuine approach that makes you feel at home. The place is simple, more for a quick stop than a long dinner. When it's busy, there's a bit of a line and there's not much space, but they're organized quickly and don't waste too much time. The prices are fair, although some sandwiches may seem a bit small compared to the expected size. Overall, for me, it's the perfect place when I want something authentic and immediate: a well-made sandwich, a relaxed atmosphere, and the feeling of tasting a piece of Castelli Romani tradition. If you're looking for an elegant atmosphere, it might not be the ideal place, but if you love authentic flavors, Cioli 1917 does exactly what it promises.

20/11/2025: We went to the Quarantuni 41 restaurant in Pietrasanta and had great food and drinks. I'm very happy. The staff is incredibly kind! 🫶😋🍝

30/11/2025: Just steps from San Giovanni in Laterano, this osteria was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was excellent and plentiful, the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, and the price was fair. We couldn't have asked for more.

16/12/2025: This is a terrible hotel experience. The quality of the security staff at the entrance is extremely poor. For an international hotel, it is unbelievable that the doorman/security staff cannot speak any English at all. Receiving guests at the entrance was a complete disaster. What kind of hotel does not allow cars to stop at the entrance even for one minute? I have never encountered such a situation at any IHG hotel before. What makes it even more ridiculous is that the staff only speak Italian. Is this supposed to be an international hotel? It’s honestly laughable. Even worse, the security staff spoke English to white guests, but refused to speak English to Asian guests, only using Italian instead. This raises serious concerns about discrimination. I would like to know how your hotel trains and manages its staff. This level of service is completely unacceptable for an IHG-branded hotel.

10/11/2025: Sorry, but you're getting worse and worse. ...even when the quality of the ingredients is good, it gets ruined in the kitchen 😲 The service in the dining room is always courteous and friendly, but that's not enough to make me want to come back. The customer service in the dining room has improved, and the kitchen has also stepped up a gear! Well done! 👍

31/10/2025: Oh i wonder why the asian guest gets treated so slowly compared to the white girls on the other table? You know i only asked for cheese 4 TIMES, they gave it to me when i had my last bite of pasta, which is funny but sad you know. Didn't know people in firenze could be like this By the way mediocre food for the price, i would have accepted it if they have better work ethics but i guess not

03/12/2025: Had lunch for work. This is a quiet place that's even more impressive with the quality of the food! I had a really good cacio e pepe, highly recommended. The entrecote was also very good. Reasonably priced.

15/11/2025: Booked for a private birthday party, the rooms are large and beautifully decorated, the staff are plentiful and attentive, and the cuisine is pleasant and traditional: artichokes prepared in timbales. A giant homemade mille-feuille for dessert, and delicious white wine. Dancing and singing made for a wonderful evening.

12/11/2025: Sometimes it’s nice to treat yourself for no reason. And this time I had one — got a bonus on a website (it’s mentioned in the photo). I decided to stop by a restaurant and try something new. The pasta was really tasty, cooked with care.

08/11/2025: The cutest little wine bar in Rome. I simply loved it. There are only a few tables in the establishment. There's no menu; the owner simply asks you what kind of wine you'd like and what your price range is. We enjoyed a delicious glass of wine there. Unfortunately, there are no clear opening hours. We wanted to go back on our last evening, but unfortunately, it was closed. The atmosphere is super cozy, very small, and authentic. Simply fantastic.

30/10/2025: Lovely small wine bar, the most calm and peaceful spot I found in my short trip to Rome! Owner will ask whether you want white, red or bubbles, and then light medium or full bodied, just trust the process. Great time-out spot in a busy area of the city!

08/11/2025: Divine meat. Very, very nice place. Unfortunately, we arrived very late and relied on the waiters to speed up our time, meaning we didn't enjoy the restaurant's full potential. I mean, if we'd had more time, we would have ordered according to our tastes. Anyway, I'd go back.
