09/01/2026: We live nearby and we go there often for this reason too... but honestly the food is very good and lots of it... then Chef Andrea is fantastic both in the kitchen and in the dining room... in short it's one of our places and you spend less than others on the same level...

Five people truly satisfied with both the wonderful meat and the desserts We took 3 large cuts with pachino rocket and parmesan... very tender meat and cooked very well Then the other two had two fillets always grilled and always tender and cooked well For desserts we chose 4 very good tiramisu su and one zuccotto The staff is very polite and so is the manager Very clean and honest prices We will be back to report

14/02/2026: Definitely one of the most panoramic restaurants in the area, if not the most panoramic overall. For me, it's a determining factor in choosing a restaurant. When dining out, for me, the location is just as important as the food. The food and service here are fine, of course, but the key is the beauty of the restaurant itself. If I had to choose, I'd rather eat in such a beautiful place than sacrifice the quality of the food. In other words, I'd rather eat in a charming and welcoming restaurant that serves average food than in a cramped and unwelcoming place that serves very good food. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and out. The decor is traditional, so it's fitting for the location. The view is best enjoyed from tables near the windows, which flood the restaurant with natural light. From here, you can see the Tiber Valley all the way to the central Apennines.

01/02/2026: The site is beautiful, with a great view. Good food and good service. A shame about the wine, a Primitivo diluted with water, clear in color. Unforgivable.

09/12/2025: We chose the old village as the location for our wedding on October 25th. What can I say? We couldn't have made a better choice. The staff immediately proved to be highly knowledgeable and ready to fulfill our every wish. The location is truly breathtaking; as soon as we entered, we had no doubts: this was the perfect place for our big day. The food was exquisite, prepared freshly, and the staff on the day of the event saved our wedding, planning an aperitif and cake outside on a day with very unpredictable weather. I could spend hours listing all the positives we experienced in 10 months of preparation, but it wouldn't be enough. We sincerely hope that all our dearest friends choose the old village for their weddings, so that we can return and surely have another unforgettable and perfectly organized day. Thank you to Sonya, Gloria, and Giorgia for all your support and professionalism, and thank you to all the staff who accompanied us on our wedding day. 22/09/2025: We were at a wedding, very beautiful. The location is stunning, being a 16th-century villa that is immaculately kept (compliments to the owners). I advise guests not to wear stiletto heels because you'll be either on a lawn or on a cobblestone pavement.

17/03/2026: I celebrated my birthday here, and there were so many of us. Fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, wonderful waiters and staff. See you soon!! It's very cheap and the food is divine. Perfect place if you want to eat well and have fun with friends or family in a very lively place.

21/02/2026: I came here for dinner with some friends! I'll start by saying that we arrived quite late (11:30 p.m.), but they still seated us and served us within 10 minutes. We had three pizzas: a margherita, a marinara, and a pizza with gratinated vegetables. The pizza is Roman-style and the dough is light, but mine, with vegetables, had very little toppings and the dough was bland. Overall, it wasn't bad, but I wasn't particularly impressed. Prices were lower than average. Very kind and helpful staff!

16/11/2025: The service was very rude, distracted, and extremely slow. We received our entrees at 10:00 after being seated at 8:00. The atmosphere was elegant, but too many details were out of place for a place with these prices. The space was very cramped. The food was okay. The Valpolicella Ripasso was excellent. I won't be returning.

12/11/2025: What a gem! We couldn’t have been luckier to end up in this neighbourhood. Be aware that it’s very Italian. Menu. Waiter. And of course food. And all of the aforementioned is exactly why we are so happy. The food is really delicious. The service so friendly, welcoming and professional.

05/10/2025: We found this place randomly after repeatedly getting disappointed by every Tiktok and Reddit recommendations of where to eat in Rome and throughout our Europe trip. It was also during protest day so we weren't sure if they would open. I would definitely recommend showing up when they open (7.30 PM for dinner). There was no sign in front so go by address. We were let in by one of the family members that ran the restaurant. Most of the seats was reserved by locals coming in later. Let me tell you I am writing this review BEYOND MAD. MAD I didn't have the stomach to eat everything on the menu. MAD now I have to justify coming back to Rome just to eat here again. And ABSOLUTELY MAD didn't eat here all three days of our trip instead. Yeah I'd definitely eat here for both lunch and dinner! Yeah I'd cancel a Michelin reservation to eat here instead! If I only had 2 hours in Rome I'd spent 1 hours eating here, 30 minutes digesting, and then another 30 minutes eating here again! I really hope this place, the lovely people that runs it, and the local community that sustains it, continues to care for this beautiful piece of Rome. I selfishly hope this restaurant never have the misfortune of becoming popular on Tiktok or other socials and turn into another soulless tourist trap. I hope it maintains it local charm, excellent food, and sense of community for several generations to come.

15/07/2025: The best food is usually at places that don't brag. We walked by this place 4 or 5 times before we knew it existed. Only two English menus is a sign of authenticity.

Lumiere Prati in Rome has an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere: soft lighting, thoughtful furnishings, and perfect background music make everything very relaxing. The atmosphere is refined yet never overly formal, perfect for a romantic evening or a night out with friends. A place where you immediately feel at ease and where the atmosphere truly makes the difference. Highly recommended.
