27/10/2025: Welcoming atmosphere and super friendly staff! The cacio e pepe is a must-try: creamy, flavorful, and perfect. The carbonara is also truly worth it. Super fresh ingredients and fast service. Excellent value, I'll definitely be back!

05/10/2025: We found this place randomly after repeatedly getting disappointed by every Tiktok and Reddit recommendations of where to eat in Rome and throughout our Europe trip. It was also during protest day so we weren't sure if they would open. I would definitely recommend showing up when they open (7.30 PM for dinner). There was no sign in front so go by address. We were let in by one of the family members that ran the restaurant. Most of the seats was reserved by locals coming in later. Let me tell you I am writing this review BEYOND MAD. MAD I didn't have the stomach to eat everything on the menu. MAD now I have to justify coming back to Rome just to eat here again. And ABSOLUTELY MAD didn't eat here all three days of our trip instead. Yeah I'd definitely eat here for both lunch and dinner! Yeah I'd cancel a Michelin reservation to eat here instead! If I only had 2 hours in Rome I'd spent 1 hours eating here, 30 minutes digesting, and then another 30 minutes eating here again! I really hope this place, the lovely people that runs it, and the local community that sustains it, continues to care for this beautiful piece of Rome. I selfishly hope this restaurant never have the misfortune of becoming popular on Tiktok or other socials and turn into another soulless tourist trap. I hope it maintains it local charm, excellent food, and sense of community for several generations to come.

15/07/2025: The best food is usually at places that don't brag. We walked by this place 4 or 5 times before we knew it existed. Only two English menus is a sign of authenticity.

12/10/2025: After the third time, and after the first two proved to be an excellent discovery, I have to make a specific comment: the pizza dough was decidedly improved, but the toppings were very tasteless on both pizzas, despite both having smoked provola among the specials... I was disappointed. We can confirm the deliciousness of the fried foods, and specifically the frittatine, which were truly noteworthy. This review, precisely because it wasn't our first time, and precisely because we returned with confidence from our first experiences, shouldn't be interpreted as a criticism, but rather as an incentive to return to the standards this pizzeria is known for. A small point, but one that we realized was accidental: the service was lacking, and the entire chain seemed to have gone haywire at some point. I repeat, we're convinced it was just a fluke.

17/11/2025: An old-fashioned Chinese restaurant, I imagine one of the first to open in the city. The food is excellent and the prices are truly competitive. I don't live in the area; I stumbled upon it for personal reasons, but if I were to ever be in the area again, I'd definitely come back!

24/11/2025: Excellent place, an osteria that stands out from the other fraschette in Ariccia, which have often become mediocre in terms of food quality, often fleecing Roman customers. The owner is very friendly. He's organizing a series of events... evenings with live music, for example. This evening (Saturday, November 22, 2025) there was an evening dedicated to the tasting of five wines that accompanied courses, from appetizers to first courses, second courses, and dessert (fixed price per person €25 including water and coffee). The dishes were completely abandoned... according to the owner, they were just tastes 😲 Highly recommended... we'll definitely be back. Tiziano Moriconi

04/11/2025: Last Sunday I went to this place because I was invited to a graduation party, and honestly, I didn't know it. But when I return to Ariccia, I'll definitely go there and bring people... the owner is incredibly kind and friendly, very attentive to everything, and extremely helpful. I should start by saying that I have dietary restrictions and couldn't eat everything, yet that evening I didn't even eat dinner because I was so full!!! And my mouth was watering just looking at the dishes he brought to the others... Welcoming and clean environment, highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Congratulations to Gionatan and the team. Sunday lunch with the family felt like being at grandma's house. Fantastic, homemade cuisine, seasonal products with authentic flavors. Gionatan is the perfect combination of friendliness and hospitality, with the ever-present "rinforzino" (small reinforcement). Fettuccine, pappardelle, ravioli, porcini mushrooms, lamb, and arrosticini, all delicious. Small but welcoming atmosphere with a small outdoor area. Reservations are required for Sunday lunch. Highly recommended for those who appreciate home cooking.

30/10/2025: I went to eat with friends on 10/29/2025, I ordered a cacio e pepe supplì that was almost inedible, the rice was a mush that was not well defined, sweet as if they had put sugar in it and I could not taste either the cheese or the pepper, after a pizza that arrived burnt underneath and really overcooked, I asked to change it, it came back not burned but overcooked, the dough was hard, I left half, I had never done that, the next day I still have it in my stomach after 12 hours, it is indigestible, and I am not a delicate person, since the management changed the quality has plummeted, and the courtesy leaves much to be desired, it has been almost a year now that it is no longer the pizza of once, but not even the distant relative, and I think I am the only one who has not noticed since in the middle of the week it is almost empty. Only the name remains, but it no longer has anything to do with Gianluca's pizza, also because the restaurant has been sold to management, and it shows. I've been a customer for several years, but after this last visit, I won't be returning.
